DB12 log RC code:0001 Success with warnings
Hi,
I have scheduled <b>Whole database online + redo log backup</b> , which started successfully. I have went to DB12 then log shows that return code :0001 sucess with warnings
Also message pops up that "The redo log files created during the last online backup have not yet been archived using BRARCHIVE.They are needed for a complete recovery."
Not sure what is this warning. Any help...
Thanks
Chimsik
How are you scheduling this backup (in DB13 or using scripts / sapdba)? Please post the part of the backup log that shows the command that was run to start the backups. Also please post from the end of the logs, which shows progress in backing up the archives. There may also be a separate archive log file corresponding to your backup run. Please paste that as well.
Typically archives can be covered by flags -sd, -cds etc. I would like to know what flags your backup is using.

Backup Error "Return Code 0001 Success with warnings"
Hi All,
I have a problem while taking backup using brtools .We scheduled a full offline backup and in DB12 when i check the status of last successful backup then it shows like
Return Code 0001 Success with warnings
System: ECC6
OS:Solaris
DB:Oracle10g
What does this error mean there is no warning in log file also.
Anybody have any idea??

Import Successful with warnings....ORA-01658 error..
Friends,
OS: RHEL AS 3.0
DB: Oracle 9iR2
When i try to import the dump, i am getting the below message.
"Import was successful with warnings"
when i check the log file there is
IMP-00017: following statement failed with oracle error 1658:
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 1658 encountered
ORA-01658: unable to create INITIAL extent for segment in tablespace PROD_DEFAULTPlease check the below, this is what i did before importing.
I want to import only the table structures without rows from the user "SMS" to "NMS".
After creating the below tablespace the free space in "/u02" is 3GB.
AM i have to change any value in the below statement?
CREATE TABLESPACE "PROD_DEFAULT" DATAFILE
'/u02/oradata/PROD_DEFAULT.dbf' SIZE 3072M REUSE
LOGGING ONLINE PERMANENT BLOCKSIZE 8192
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL AUTOALLOCATE SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO
CREATE TEMPORARY TABLESPACE "PROD_TEMP" TEMPFILE
'/u02/oradata/PROD_TEMP.dbf' SIZE 3072M REUSE
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM SIZE 1048576
CREATE USER "NMS" IDENTIFIED BY "SDF345345KLSDSD8K" DEFAULT
TABLESPACE "PROD_DEFAULT"
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE "PROD_TEMP"
GRANT CONNECT,RESOURCE TO NMS
[oracle@linuxdb oracle]$ imp system/password file=/u02/today1.dmp
log=/u02/today1.log fromuser=sms touser=nms rows=n buffer=8000000 commit=yNote:
Even if i omit "buffer" and "commit" the same error occurs.
where im making a mistake? Is there any changes i have to made in the create tablespace statement.
Please point out the mistake.
thanks & regardsnot for a single statement. for all the statements
its showing the error.instead of 512 tables
structures, only 490 tables structures were created.Because it was not able to allocate contiguous space in the tablespace.
>
actually i want to import "NMS_DEFAULT" tablespace's
table structures to "PROD_DEFAULT" tablespace.
also I want to import only the table structures
without rows from the user "SMS" to "NMS".Use FROMUSER/TOUSER for this and set the default tablespace for NMS as PROD_DEFAULT.
Now specify rown=N while running import or at the time of running export itself.
i created the "NMS_DEFAULT" tablespace with 3072M.
so i created the "PROD_DEFAULT" tablespace with the
same size.
actually i created the "PROD_DEFAULT" tablespace
using below output.
"select
dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLESPACE','NMS_DEFAULT')
from dual"You didnt allocate sufficient space to the tablespace, i guess.

Imp full db successful with warnings
Looking for options to fix those , or can i ignore them? What would be side effect if i drop/cascade users and re-run imp after increasing tablespace TS_PUBLIC size or i should not do that? and just fix the little warnings or even just ignore them?
Most of tables (i would say 95% ) & there data imported successfully after full imp , db size is 80GB around, import terminated successfully with warnings , which are below.....
IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 1659:

IMP-00041: Warning: object created with compilation warnings
"CREATE TRIGGER MT1758.MEDDRA_MT1758_THE_SYN_UPD"; I would suggest you to look at export log and find out which are the tables that got failed and import only those tables again. Since the size is quite high as you said.
Secondly, since 95% tables are already import, so i suggest you to increase the Tablespace size by adding datafile or extending existing one, then run the import for rest 5% tables.
Third, You said can you ignore warning? During import oracle tries to create Views, it first check if the tables from which view is being create are already exists or not. If the tables doesn't exists oracle will create view forcefully, and mark these view as invalid. The only way to make the views valid is to alter the views definition to point to the correct base tables.
So there is little activity left after import is done with warning, that you have to alter the view definitions so that correct tables can be used.
Also see MOS -> IMP-00041 ORA-04063 FROMUSER/TOUSER IMPORT INTO NEW DATABASE [ID 1059520.6]
Hope my suggestions helps you -

Export terminated successfully with warnings.
Hi,
I have a 9i database (9.2.0.8.0) running on a HP Unix machine (B.11.11). The database size is 170GB.
When I run a full database export, I get couple of ORA-01403 error.
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 1403 encountered
ORA-01403: no data found
But the end of it, it shows Export terminated successfully with warnings.
Is my export backup valid or do I need to solve the ORA-01403 issue? And how do I solve that?
Request your quick help on this1
thanks!I checked the Oracle Support notes, but it says that the cause is due to the FILESIZE parameter. But we have not used the FILESIZE parameter in our environment.
And there are enough space in the file system too. So I dont think the spacing is an issue here.
userid=dba_backup/xxxxxx
file=xxxxxx.dmp
compress=n
consistent=y
full=y
rows=y
direct=yThe solution mentioned in the note is:
Solution
-- To implement the solution, please execute the following steps::
Add more files to the file= list to make sure there is enough space available for the export.How do I do that? file=xxxxxx.dmp, yyyyyy.dmp is it?
Thanks! -
Export terminated successfully with warnings, warning is ignoreable
Is this waring ignorable?

Hey All, I am really stumped on this one.
Environment - Is using split DNS
Forest Root Domain - Contains new Lync 2013 Server Standard, ADDS, DNS, Enterprise CA, Workstations
Clients in this domain connect and work beautifully. No errors.
Child Domain - ADDS, DNS, Workstation, Lync 2013 client
Client autodiscovers, and then asks for a password. Enter the password and this comes up...
Can't sign in to Lync, You didnt get signed in, It might be your sign-in address or logon credentials.. blah blah blah"
Client log shows
Error:
There was an error communicating with the endpoint at 'https://domainlync13srv.Domain.net/WebTicket/WebTicketService.svc'.
The server returned HTTP status code '403 (0x193)' with text 'Forbidden'.
The server understood the request, but cannot fulfill it.
As far as i can tell certificates are correctly configured with all the SAN's possible in my forest. The user is correctly set up in Lync control panel. Autodiscovery seems to be working as it should. EWS is working correctly.
Repaired client, removed cached creds, has all lync 2013 updates no dice
Thank you all!I am an IDIOT.
I did not prepare the child domain with the LYNC setup tool. Logged on to a file server in the child domain with domain admin rights and sure enough the setup said the domain was "partial". Ran the setup and bam it all started working. -

This is in the ongoing sequence where I am creating everything from the scratch(customers, material, prices etc).So far, I have been able to create and save the salesorder>deliver it>pick the items and then I was going to carry out the PGI and then this happened.
when I use the date i.e(Planned GI) 27-09-2006, I receive the following error
****************snip********************
Goods movement: Error log
Item Material Description Delivery qty UoM Batch

E M7 053
Posting only possible in periods 2002/03 and 2002/02 in company code 0001
************End snip*********************
If I use a date as R/3 wants ,say 27.02.2002(Planned GI),I get:-
"Picking date is after goods issue date"...which is obvious.
any day after 27-09-2006, say 28-09-2006(Planned GI), I get :-
"Goods issue date is later than delivery date"...makes sence too
one thing was clear here to me, I can only post in Feb/March 2002, while my delivery date is 27 Sept 2006 . So I am in a classic chicken-egg situation.
where and who is giving this "Posting only possible in periods 2002/03 and 2002/02 in company code 0001" message ? How can I override this thing from the past ?
I thought of playing it smart and change my system date to the year Feb. 2002 , but in the fear that a lot of other things will fall as a result of that, I did refrain from doing so.
Could someone make this PGI succesful for me
Thanks for any lessons.Thanks Mr. Srinivas
MMPV was indeed the magic wand.
PGI was successful.
this is my overall document flow as of now :-
Standard Order 2 27.09.06 Completed
. Outbound delivery 80000000 27.09.06 Completed
.. WMS transfer order 1 29.09.06 Completed
.. GD goods issue:delvy 4900000020 30.09.06 complete
.. Invoice 90000000 30.09.06 Missing export data
As I understand, my invoicing is not yet complete , it's got a number and got saved, but how shall I get rid of that red line message "Missing export data"(foriegn trade data incomplete...was the message while saving the billing document).I would be darn happy if I could just get rid of the foreign data part completely(just want to complete the invoice).Would this be checking off a mandatory rqmt. somewhere in the master data?
and would this also be the reason, why I see no accounting document which should have been on status 'open' by now ?
Thanks in advance , -
ORA-24344: Success with compilation error.
Hi, i got the following error notification mail when the DB job [runs only once in a day at 1 AM] tries to execute the following procedure.
The mail reads like this ----
"Condition Raised in: toll_partitions.recompile_invalid_objects
Short Desc: ORA-24344
Long Desc: ORA-24344: Success with compilation error.
Cause: Trigger creation did not successfully complete.
Solution: Check trigger status for all triggers created in this schema and find out which error caused the failure by querying the user_errors table for the named trigger and Trigger type.

I got '0' count when I ran the invalid object count to see the invalid objects. I ran the following code ..and it gave me 0 value.
SELECT count(*)
FROM dba_objects
WHERE STATUS = 'INVALID'
AND OBJECT_TYPE IN ( 'PACKAGE BODY', 'PACKAGE', 'FUNCTION', 'PROCEDURE',
'TRIGGER', 'VIEW' )
AND OWNER = USER
AND OBJECT_NAME NOT LIKE 'TOAD_PROFILER'
ORDER BY OWNER, OBJECT_TYPE, OBJECT_NAME;
--- end of query ---
The count 0 means, there are no invalid objects. But it throws daily the same error notification mail at 1 AM[the time job runs]. I compiled the procedure and it reports no errors. I checked the status of the triggers and all are valid and enabled. Please suggest me. Any help in this regard will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance...Just some hints. I'm not sure if they help solving your problem.
1) Don't COMMIT inside a cursor.
2) Instead of DBMS_SQL you could use DBMS_DDL.ALTER_COMPILE, also see here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/appdev.920/a96612/d_ddl2.htm#1000604
3) Check if there are other jobs running during the recompile. Maybe you run into some conflicts.
4) Output the statement that creates the error. It looks like you could try to put this into your exception handler: toll_handle.error_condition(vFacility, v_ins_str,vErrorID); -

You cannot post to asset in company code 0001 fiscal year 2009
Hello,
I am receving subject mentioned error when I am posting asset to fixed asset. Please advise me to rectify the same. I tried AJRW but couldn't succeed.
Regards,
PrashantHI
Is your company code - 0001? since generally it is standard SAP company code and system would give such error untill you will execute any of the asset report or transaction with your correct chart of dep and company code, like AS02, if you will try to display any of the asset with your company code , then next time it will allow you to do the transactions.
Further if your company code is 0001 and error is related to your company code only , then please run AJAB for the year 2008 (since you want to post in 2009) in test run and in foreground, it will give you error log , if anything is preventing year close.
Complete the tasks of the year 2008 and close it , open the new year 2009 by AJRW.
Also check the FI period if you are acquiring assets from MM then also check MMPV, all should be open for your desired posting date.
Cheers

[SOLVED] ADF Security: No success with DBTableOraDataSourceLoginModule
Hi,
because do not have success to implement simple ADF Security to my application for weeks I try it again with this post.
Hopefully someone who was already successful with this issue can give me the hint, missing step or something else.
I have read many forum posts, blogs and documentation (10.x) but because ADF security has been changed from 10g to 11g I'm never sure if a documented step from 10g is necessary for 11g also.
I also posted my problem to posts with similar problems but no response :-(
I use 11g, TP4.
My Requirement:
=============
- user accounts and roles are stored within database tables
- roles are not used (every user has the same rights) but stored in the database table
- Custom Login-Page (jspx)
- At login ADF Security only needs to check if the entered user/password is stored in the database table (no password encryption is used at the moment)
Steps I have done:
ADF Security wizard:
================
Step 1: Enforce Authorization NOT checked (Also tried to CHECK this checkbox)
Redirect upon sucessfull Authentication CHECKED
generate Default CHECKED
Step 2: No identity store CHECKED
Step 3: Enable Credital Store CHECKED
Step 4: No Policy Store CHECKED
Step 5: Enable Anonymous Provider
Step 6: Manage Login Modules --> Add "oracle.security.jazn.login.module.db.DBTableOraDataSourceLoginModule"
Name = oracledb.loginmodule
Login Control Flag = Required
Log Level = fine
--> Add "oracledb.loginmodule" as the only "Selected login module"
Step 7: Form-Based Authentication
Generate default is CHECKED
Step 8: WebResources: allPages
Selected Roles: valid-users
Step 9: FINISH Wizard
Then I edit jps-config.xml manually. Here the actual content:
=============================================================
<serviceInstance provider="jaas.login.provider"
name="oracledb.loginmodule">
<property value="true" name="debug"/>
<property value="REQUIRED" name="jaas.login.controlFlag"/>
<property value="true" name="addAllRoles"/>
<property value="oracle.security.jazn.login.module.db.DBTableOraDataSourceLoginModule"
name="loginModuleClassName"/>
<property value="FINE" name="log.level"/>
<property value="jdbc/TLS-BOBDS" name="data_source_name"/>
<property value="passwort" name="passwordField"/>
<property value="rol_rolle" name="groupMembershipGroupFieldName"/>
<property value="bediener_rollen" name="groupMembershipTableName"/>
<property value="user_kennung" name="usernameField"/>
<property value="bediener" name="table"/>
<property value="persnr" name="user_pk_column"/>
<property value="bed_persnr" name="roles_fk_column"/>
<property value="toupper" name="casing"/>
</serviceInstance>
====================================
Then I start the application. Re-direction to the login-page works fine.
I enter username/password and press submit --> Following error occures in OC4J log:
===================

My questions:
=============
1) Are there additional steps necessary to implement ADF Security for my requirements ?
2) If yes, which? Which files I have to edit manually after ADF security wizard has been finished?
Any help is warmly welcome !
regards
PeterHello
Many thanks to CP and Andre who gave the missing hints in this tread:
OC4J 11g and JAZN
The property custom.provider mentioned by cp was the "missing link" --> now it works.
BUT "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen ..." !
I made dozens of trials with the same application and always similar (strange) results.
When I CHECK "enforce Authorization" in the ADF security wizard then
the redirection to the Login Page does NOT work (reason is unclear for me)
If I UNCHECK "enforce Authorization" in the ADF security wizard then
the redirection to the login page works fine BUT the redirect upon succesful Authentication doesn't work.
--> In this case following code is missing in web.xml
=====================
<servlet>
<servlet-name>adfAuthentication</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>oracle.adf.share.security.authentication.AuthenticationServlet</servlet-class>
<init-param>
<param-name>success_url</param-name>
<param-value>welcome.jsp</param-value>
</init-param>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
=================================
I think (but not 100%) that SOMETIMES the propertie "<property value="true" name="custom.provider"/>" has been created by the ADF security wizard.
SOMETIMES I was not able to create the default welcome.jsp with the ADF Security Wizard, ....
Maybe someone can reproduce this behaviour and fills a bug.
regards
Peter -
please can somebody help, my imac will not start up, just chimes, apple sign then spinning cog. I have tried many key codes, no success, would really like to talk to someone.
1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of the script have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report what happened. No harm will be done.
12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

PL/SQL will compile with warnings but will not run
I have a pl/sql package that will compile with warnings but no errors but when i try to run it I get an ORA-6508 error telling me there is an error somewhere in the package but I can't find it.
I have two user schemas that use 2 slightly different versions of the package. I had to make slight code changes to one of the versions and when I made those changes it stopped running. The second version compiles and runs correctly.
After going through a line by line comparison the first copy was still not running. I copied the second version of the code into the broken schema and commented out the additional lines of code that are not needed in this version.
When I tried to compile and run this version it still fails with the same error.
I am using Oracle XE and the databases are small.
I can send on the code if necessary.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
SusanI tried doing what you suggested but there are no errors as it is compiling correctly.
It is only when I run the package through the debugger that I get the error. I have posted it below
