How can this error be solved?

Can I programmatically copy vi within llb AND build an application?

I previously posted the question how to programmatically work (copy, delete) on files within llbs and got two answers to use the librarian vis in vi.lib > utility > libraryn.llb
That works really good but only till I try to build an application. The application builder seems to use the librarian vis also and complains that it cannot build an application with vis that are currently in use...
Any idea how to solve that?

Make a copy of all the VIs used by the librarian and save them under a
different name (making sure to link the sub-VIs to the new name of course.
Awkward, but it should work.

Hide div within iframe and search input

Hi I have a website where I am embedding an iframe to view real estate listings. I have figured out how to adjust iframe height to match the iframes source height, however now I want to remove the menu bar at the top of my iframe souce. How can I target a specific div in an iframe to hide it so it is not included in the iframe. I found the div id I want to hide, is this possible to do in muse isntead of each html page bc I have to do it to a lot of pages. You can see what I mean here.. http://kmartinezmedia.com/ebmiami/rent.html. I also have another iframe on my homepage which is a dropbown search menu. BRBACKUP fails with DB13 and TIVOLI on AIX and ORACLE

Hi,
We have the Tivoli setup for SAP on AIX and Oracle.
when we run the brbackup directly we are able to get it through. But when we do the same with DB13 and Tivoli attached we are not able to get through and it throws an error.
Would be very nice and kind of you if you could share your setup knowledge with me regarding Tivoli and SAP.

Unfortunately nobody here has a crystal ball to look into and see what is happening on your system in both cases.
We could ask you "have you done this" or "did you configure that" but it´s very cumbersome.
So please: provide logfiles of failed attempts if there is "an error" so we see which error it is and we can see if we can help.

You might post this query on the iPhoto forum and perhaps someone there can provide an answer.
I tried this on my MBP and it seems that you have to restore the entire iPhoto Library. What I did was put the current library in a separate folder on the desktop and then I restored the library from a prior date. If you were to do that, you then could extract the desired photos and then delete the restored library. Then place the current library back to the original location and import the desired photos.
Not tidy but it seems it will work.

HELP: I need to link a PDF within PDF and be able to open and return to original PDF

I have a master PDF and have attached 7 supplemental PDF documents. I created "click here" icons and used the steps below so that the linked document would open. The problem is, once I open the supplemental PDF, it closes the original master. I would like to close the linked document and return to the master view. Is there a way to do this?
Or is there a way to do this from InDesign? I created master file in InDesign and exported as an Interactive PDF. I created the buttons and linked them to external files. This works great as long as the master PDF and the links are all in one file, but that is a pain to send to a viewer. Ideally, I want to be able to send the master PDF to a viewer and not have to send a links folder. Is there a way to embed the supplemental PDFs into the master so that they are all combined into one file AND have the ability to use buttons to call up one of the attachments, close, and return to the original?

I want to do the same thing that the original poster of this question wants to do. I haven't worked extensively with Acrobat so am finding by trial and error the several ways PDFs within PDFs can be accomplished. I'm using a trial version of Acrobat Pro X and have experimented with three options.
1 - I've created a Portfolio and am impressed with what that can do, though I think it may be "overkill" for the current size of my project.
2 - I've also tried creating this project as an index but discovered that the links I'd created in the original docs didn't work when I moved the index and its contents (keeping the file structure the same). I presume this means the links are absolute? I also don't understand how it is that users search a .pdx file, or how to present what I want to be the original opening PDF of indexed docs.
3 - I've also thought to create one PDF with attached PDFs, so I'd like to have you expand on your comment about creating a master document and attaching documents to it.
The specifics of my project are these: I have created a master directory that contains approximately 120 links. Most of the links are repeated three times (users can find in the directory the item they need in three different ways: alphabetically, by application, or by module; hence each item listed once in each of three categories). I want to make that directory the "master" PDF that users open first, and then locate within that PDF the 5-8 PDF documents that contain all of the places to which the directory links. I want the "master" directory to be self-contained and completely "portable" as far as all of the documents and links are concerned so that when I make the PDF available from our website users can open the master from there or copy it and have all of the docs they need with all of the links intact. I think I prefer that all docs open in new windows, since returning to the original doesn't seem very user friendly in Acrobat (I like the tabs feature in FoxIt when multiple PDFs are open...).
I'd like an opinion about the best way to accomplish what I need to do, and am also wondering whether there are other options I am unaware of. BTW, the reason we've decided to document this whole project in PDFs rather than HTML is because this project contains a big number of tables, which do not look consistent across various browsers (i.e., most of our tables look fine in IE and Firefox, but awful in Google Chrome...). In researching my issue on the Acrobat Windows forum I see that rendering tables in Acrobat is also an issue that seems to be unresolved.

Open vi within vi and close the the last one

I've searched the solution to my problem, but didn't find.
Short brief:
I have a VI that uses for authorization, then if all O.K it should open other VI("code-vi") and run it and close itself.
I saw that some people recommended , that it can be done by just putting the "code-vi" in the right place, but when I'm following this method , the authorization VI can't be closed.
the other method I tried is to put a sequence where the first stage is opening the "code-vi" with "vi server ref" and the second stage is close this VI also with "vi server ref". with this method i'm facing two problems , the first is the fact that all the vi's are within a project , and I want that the "path refernce" would be generic - I can put the folder that holdes all the files in any PC and it would run without redirecting the path.
The second problem is that I can't find the way to automaticaly run the "code-vi" when it invoked.
which files should I attach if i'm using project ?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. The "Run When Opened" property for the VI doesn't care how the VI was opened, just that it was opened.

I can't use the scroll feature built into my touchpad on my laptop, it works with everything else, including a pdf within firefox and the old 3.6 version of firefox but not in the new one. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The touchpad has a built in feature where when i move my finger over the far right, it scrolls instead of using the mouse. It has been faultless with everything before now, but doesnt work on webpages in Firefox 4, but does in pdfs open within firefox. I can only assume therefore it is the browsers problem not mine. The touchpad is a synaptics pointing device. If this is a browser problem then looks like firefox 4 wont be for me :(

Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

Just moved to Mac from Windows, so far biggest headache is the way folders are treated. I manage several very large websites and involve a lot of files within folders and I need the folders to show the date the last file inside it was changed?

In my FTP client I can click to sort by date modified which is fine if you are in a folder and then it shows the file dates correctly - but any folders within the root folder don't they seem to display randomly all together at the bottom of the list and it is a nightmare trying to find what folders have files in them that have been changed.
Is there any way to get the folder to register the last date of a file within it that was modified?

I dont know the answer yet, but i have noted what appears to be a bug in 10.9 in how it handles folder dates. Right now i am seeing folder modified dates changing randomly ot "today" - whatever date the parent folder was opened.
In the past my folders "modified" date was always the same as the last modified date of the items within. But this only moved down ONE level - if a subfolder's entries were updated the "gradfather" folder did not update.
But now severa people are reporting random, incorrect folder dates. I hoep this will be corrected soon, but who knows?
