DBMpoolFile  how to 'delete' pages

Dear All,
Could any one help me with how to clear pages from the mpool memory subsystem and subsequently deleted from the file such that the space utilised by that page wil be returned to the memory cache pool.
I am looking for something like deleting a a page.
ALso, ai will be grateful to get a respondse to my previous question about dirty pages not being evicted from the cache .
Thanks

Gary,
If you rearrange your content into a more compact pattern, or if you change the overall content scale, the number of pages can be reduced.  If a blank page is being printed, move the content closer together.
If you have blank rows or columns in Tables that are making your printout larger than it needs to be, Delete those rows and columns.

Sorry, it was my fault. When I searched on the Internet, I was reading the Acrobat help pages, without knowing it, because in my research I wrote "how to delete pages in a pdf file with Adobe reader", i was just automatically redirected toward Acrobat help but i didn't notice.
So no incorrect information exist in the Reader Help pages.

Ok. i figured out that I can provide a special parameter named 'BLANKPAGES' to the rwbuilder program or rwclient, etc... But I still don't like it because I have to modify how I execute and print reports...why should I have to do that when the report itself should have that ability? If I create a new report, it doesn't need the BLANKPAGES parameter, it just prints one page...why can't i modify my existings reports then?
    anyone got ideas??? Thanks!

    Hi,
At initial screen of SE71, give the zscript name and mention 'DE' in Language input box.
click on change button and then double click on the page name and follow the same path (Edit->Delete element) to delete the page.
    Hope this will help you.

  • In iPhoto, I'm trying to create a book and can't figure out how to delete pages

In the old iPhoto you could simply delete the pages and I'm not finding the key stroke to do so in iPhoto 11.
    Thanks

    Hi lachanel5,
Not sure if you found this in iPhoto Help yet, but it says (red highlights mine):
To delete a page from a photo book:
Books require an even number of pages. If deleting a page creates an odd number of pages, iPhoto automatically adds a blank page to or deletes a blank page from your book to keep the page count at an even number.
    Open the book project.
The book pages appear in All Pages view.
Press the Control key while you click the page that you want to delete, and then choose Remove Page from the shortcut menu.
Note:  You can also delete a page while viewing a page spread.
A message appears asking if you want to delete the page.
    Click Yes.
The Note about deleting a page means pressing the Delete key on the keyboard.
Note there is a 20 Page minimum to the Books so if you have less than that, it won't let you delete pages, the Remove Page option will be dimmed. You need to change them to something else instead.
    Hope that helps,
    ivan

  • How to Delete pages hundreds of blank pages in Appleworks?

Occasionally using Appleworks in a new iMac duo intel, I find that hundreds of blank pages appear, seemingly without anything I have done, and it is a real pain to delete these blank pages. I could not find anything on this problem in searching this forum. There must be a simple reason for it, but I am stumped. Louis Kuslan

Was your intent to simply announce that you were stumped, or were you looking for a way to alleviate the "... pain to delete these blank pages" as well? There is an easy way to remove a bunch of errant duplicate entries, but the precise keyboard entry hinges on your response to the follow-up question above.
If they are page breaks, use the Find/Change dialog. If you're looking for page breaks, enter "\p" (without the quotes); if the culprit is the column break, enter "\c" in the "Find" window. Leave the "Change" window blank. Depending upon whether you have page/column breaks that need to be preserved, use either the "Change All" button, or cycle through them one at a time using "Find Next" and "Change, Find", as appropriate.

  • Cannot delete pages in Acrobat 9 Standard

We have several new computers we just installed and 7 new acrobat 9 standard discs with serial numbers.  Installation went fine.  We can create PDFs but when we try to edit, we cannot delete pages.  Online help shows how to delete pages in Acrobat 9 Standard, but the Delete option is not available on the menus.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat 9 Standard on one computer to see if a new install would fix the problem, but it did not.  Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

I am trying to delete pages I have crated in numbers, but can only see them in print preview. Without print preview I do not see them. How can I delete these pages, but keep others before and after?

    Hi Crushed,
Numbers doesn't have pages. It has a canvas that holds objects such as tables and charts.
Drag the objects from the bottom of the canvas onto the white space above. That will reduce the number of "pages" (sheets of paper) that will print.
