Dbms_ldap example code need to get me started

Hi,
I need to get a users department name from inside the oid, I no nothing about oid and ldap but I believe you need to use dbms_ldap. Does anybody have some sample code of how to do this.

Old computer crashed, loaded iTunes onto new one, need to get (re) started

I lost my old computer (disk crash). I've restored the old iTunes library (plus more) onto my new windows desktop (from a Maxtor backup).
How do I now initialize my iPod photo (30Gb) on the new computer? It is not registered to this new computer. Do I use the original CDs that came with my iPod 2 years ago?
I want to wipe the iPod clean and synch only selected stuff, as I have ~33Gb in my new iTunes library. How do I select smartly when I have 8000 files?

You don't need to do anymore than connect the iPod, if you are updating automatically it will connect and sync with the new library.

If you want to erase it and start from scratch then restore it with the iPod Updater. This will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings: Restoring iPod to Factory Settings
If you want an alternative to aoto-syncing the whole library then you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only". Using this option you could create a playlist specifically for your iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library. You can read more about playlists at these links:

Acrobat 7.0 ActiveX Object example code in Lookout

I'm trying to set up the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Browser Document ActiveX Object under Lookout 6.0 but it doesn't work. My goal is to display a pdf document by lookout.
What should I set by Property Browser...?
What should I set by Property Pages...?
What should I set by Value Property:?
What means the term "Property" in this kind of objects?
Is there an example code I can get?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I don't know of a FREE ActiveX control for MS Word. However, if you have MS Word installed on the same computer, you can use MS Internet Explorer ActiveX Control to view Word documents.
But before we do that, we have to make sure that MS Word is set to open documents in the "same window." This basically opens a DOC file in Internet Explorer itself rather than launching a new MS Word window and then opening the DOC file in it. To set this (if it isn't already):
1. Launch Windows Explorer.
2. From the Tools menu, select "Folder Options"
3. Click the "File Types" tab.
4. From the listing of "Registered File Types," select "Microsoft Word Document," (you can get to it fast by typing "DOC"); click Advanced.
5. Click the "Browse in same window" check box -- this toggles whether a Word document is launched outside of Internet Explorer.
6. Click OK to close the dialog boxes.
NOTE: if the DOC still opens in a new MS Word window (and not IE), go back and toggle the check-box.
In Lookout, use the Lookout Webbrowser control (which is nothing but MS IE Control). Specify the file path to the DOC file as the URL. I am attaching a process file which does this using a TextEntry object.

Two days ago I introduced photos of my baby into my PC and automatically went into the programm Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. Then they were deleted of my photo camera. Then I wanted to access to the photos in the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 but I read that since the end of Juny we need a decodification code and that now it is not availabel. I just find fixed issues where there is not shown my problem and I cannot find the way to write my question about my need of a code for Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. Could you or somebody tell me the way to get the code through adobe.

Need example code for Multiplexer

I have a RTSPServer, MediaServer [based on AVTransmit3] which is sending RTP media packets to a RTPServer [based on AVReceive3]. Now i need to implement a multiplexer in client side. I need at least one example code of multiplexer to start my own implementation. can any one give me any link of a code of multiplexer.

What doesn't work?
LOB->read can simply be used in a loop. You may be able to print each chunk inside the loop and use http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.flush.php but there are plenty of caveats noted in the flush() documentation
The documentation for LOB->flush is unfortunately ambiguous. "Server" refers to flushing data from PHP to the DB server, not to the web server.
Make sure you bind $id (and also filter your input from $GET): otherwise you have a SQL Injection security problem. Not to mention a scalability issue.

were people can just drop in and post example code of what ever they like. then instead of asking question's over and over their would be a wealth of code snipets in one place.
then again it might not be such a good idea.

there would have to be someone or a group of people that check the code to keep it clean, and good java, so it might get a bit boggy and hard to maintain...
but a good subject, although i still think that there is sufficient examplecode to find.
You will practically never find exactely what you need online somewhere cause no application has the same possibilities, features...

Mac start up wont work. I have tried safe start, command s / v , command r, pram, and more. Nothing helps!!! I really need to get back onto it. PLEASE HELP ME

My mac is only a year old. I am still under warranty but don't want to have to go to the store. I know it has something to do with not connecting to my hard drive and I want to make it clear that IT HAS NOT BEEN DROPED,BANGED OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY!!
Here is what I have tried so far:
For safe start The loading bar shows up but then doesn't load. After a few seconds it disappears and the wheel continues to spin.
I have tried PRAM but it doesn't help at all.
The only way I can get it off the start off page is to either go to fsck or Mac OS utilites.
Fsck comes up as an error message for me when I put in fsck -FY. /sbin/fsck -FY also doesn't work.
Mac OS utilities really also doesn't much. When I try to back up my hard drive it recognizes the external drive but then has no where to put it to??? So then I tried reinstalling the lion software part bit it won't allow me because for some reason it is locked. So I also try to verify and repair my drive. An error message comes up so I know there is something wrong. But not what to do about it. So now I am here on the Internet.

Just to clarify - in terms of backing up one set of these, would that just be so I had it on disk and didn't need to re-download from Adobe if the installation got corrupted somehow? Or do I need a backup for some other reason?

Here are a couple of ways, one using the Netstream class and the other using the FLVPlayback component.
For the NetStream approach, the following in the timeline code will play/loop the intended mp4 file...

What software do I need to get started with GIS development

Hello, I'm a Oracle RDBMS specialist but interested in getting into GIS development. I want to set up a local environment and play around with it. Could someone advise me as to what software I need to install/download? Is all of it free?
1.) I'm assumming I need ORACLE with SPATIAL (was looking into 10g) Is this download free?
2.) I also looked into MAP VIEWER as an extension of the Oracle Application Server.
Are these 2 products all I need to get started?
I also read alot about arcGIS? Can this product be downloaded for free or is it a licensed product?
Does anyone have any other suggestions about some software/documentation that may help me get started in this technology.

Actually, you need Oracle Spatial or Oracle Locator. Oracle Locator is free on Oracle Express, and you could start with it. Otherwise, if you want to know more, Oracle Spatial comes with Oracle Enterprise, and Oracle 10g gives you a schema that allow you to store, manage and query spatial data through Oracle functions, etc.
To start using MapViewer, considering that you already have some spatial data stored on the database, you could download the MapViewer kit at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/spatial/index.html.
You could buy the Pro Oracle Spatial book. It´s very good.
