Check your value of cursorplan_unparse_enabled
There have been bugs around access to the predicates column in v$sql_plan in certain
versions (Metalink ids 2791172,763607.1,3267299)
One of the recommendations was to alter the
setting of " _cursor_plan_unparse_enabled"
E.g.
ALTER SESSION set "_cursor_plan_unparse_enabled"=FALSE
which had this effect.

No Predicate Information showing in typical display
same sql statement, in other environment, when I display plan with dbms_xplan, it shows predicate information, only in one environment, not showing, even I used ALL option, compared two environment, there is no difference, what is could be possible reason for this? Thanks in advance.

That is good to hear that the PLAN_TABLE is the not the old version. If possible, I would like to see a reproducible test case using the following script:
SET LINESIZE 140
SET TRIMSPOOL ON
SET PAGESIZE 1000
SELECT /*+ GATHER_PLAN_STATISTICS */
1 MY_VALUE
FROM
DUAL
WHERE
ROWNUM<=1;
SELECT
FROM
TABLE(DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR(NULL,NULL,'ALLSTATS LAST +NOTE'));When I execute the above, this is what I see:
SQL> SELECT /*+ GATHER_PLAN_STATISTICS */
2 1 MY_VALUE
3 FROM
4 DUAL
5 WHERE
6 ROWNUM<=1;
MY_VALUE

SQL>

Original test case did not specify a WHERE clause - fixed now. -
I can no longer read my bank statements. I believe they are using a PDF to display this information. If I go to chrome it will open the bank statements but Firefox no longer open these flies. Why??????
It's very unusual to get no results for PDF in the Application preferences list. It's possible that the file which stores those preferences might have become corrupted. Perhaps it would be best to rename or delete the file and let Firefox re-create it.
Here's how:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Switch back to Firefox and Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''mimeTypes.rdf''' to something like mimeTypes.old
Restart Firefox. After things setting down, check the Application preferences again to see whether PDF is listed and then set the drop-down on the right side to the desired action.
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Applications
Does that work any better? -

Edited by: Pedro Gallardo Guzman on Sep 3, 2009 6:15 PMHi Pedro,
I do not understand what you are talking about and what you expect.
Please give some more details about what you want to achieve.
What is "information in graphical mode" - something like bars and pie slices?
Best regards,

How to display field information dynamically in reports
How to display field information, depending on the description in DOMAINS..dynamically in reports...

ThanksHi

it should send into the ALV_GRID_DISPLY
SLIS_FIELDCATALOG_T_ALV-SELECTION_TEXT = " DOMAIN".

Why query against table(dbms_xplan.display) take too long?
the env is PROD, version is Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi.
Most of the time, when I do explain plan and query the table(dbms_xplan.display), it takes like 3-8 minutes to display the result.
So, I wonder what might go wrong here?
How a simple query would take this long?
Any thought or guess are welcome.
ThanksThat is not an option here. I only have query privilege on PROD.
All I can do is to figure out the reason for the slowness and advise the fix.
Thanks. -
Displaying product information in registration buy page?
Our client wants to add a section in the checkout process for www.grounded.com that displays product information before the checkout process is complete. I already tried the tags used in the shopping cart page to try and display in the registration buy page and that doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this to work, or is it just not possible?
For example:
The customer fills out their billing/shipping info, types in their credit card information, and sees their total amount. Before they click Submit and are redirected to the receipt page, they see a box on the registration buy page that says "You are about to purchase PRODUCTA and PRODUCTB for a total of TOTALPRICE. If this is correct, please submit your information and the checkout process will be complete."
Possible? Why would you? Don't let your client say how the flow should work.
That really is a bad user experience. The annoyance of it.
You can add images and elements to the cart layout if you like but when you add items in the cart you know what your buying. The cart the minimum I do is have the products link to their detail view and in the payment form it is all simple , clean and easy to fill in and the total and payment options are very clear.
So you know the total at the cart stage, you know the items and you get a final total also on the payment form.
To then show the person again is a bit much :)
Advise them it is a bad idea. Client is defiantly not always right. They may think it is a cool idea but it isn't :)
Presentation of everything else for the user experience is the thing to nail. -

Since customer has upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.2.1, he can't display job information when he select job number.
He has http 404 error.
He has same error when he want to see threshold configuration:

We noticed that there is many files on C:\Program Files (x86)\CSCOpx\files\rme\dcma\devfiles.
We can see that CollectionSummary has 4 collector name which are loading status:

Hi,

it returns only very less rows, should it return 1145 rows? Please let me know why this is?

Adding to the damorgan,
In order to Check the Number of Records, you can Debug it (Execute it Part by Part) and you get to know.
As he stated if you got any problems make sure you do, update stats up to date... !!
If you think that number of rows returned in wrong, check the joining Conditions, since some times based on the conditions of joins between the table unncessary rows will be fetching... which make the query performance degraded

Display extra information in entity header of the relational model
Hi,
Is there a way to display extra information in the header of the entity, next to the table name.
Ex : each table in my model has a distinct object id. Right now I enter this info in the Dynamic Properties (Name = OBJECTID Value = 710). It would be really practical for me if that OBJECTID would appear in the relational model diagram.
Thanks.No, it's not possible

How to display tooltip information on a website
How can I view information when I hover or hold my finger/stylus on a button/icon?
I use a website which has icons which display text information about items when you hover your mouse cursor over it.
On my previous device I could hold my finger/stylus on the icon and have the information bubble popup to read.
How can I view the text popup bubble in my Firefox on Android?
I have a Sony Xperia Z Ultra with Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat) and using Firefox version 33.1 for Android.
Let me know if You need any other info?
Thank you.I forgot to mention. Long pressing on the icon only result in the text being selected/highlighted. The popup/tooltip message does not display.
I added two screenshots. The one displays the popup message correctly when hovering the mouse cursor over the '?' icon, as it is on my computer. The other screenshot displays the text being seleted when I press long on the '?' icon. -
After ios6 update, I have lost all control of audio via Bluetooth, plus my Bluetooth car radio is no longer displaying track information from the iPhone. Help!
Hi there,
You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.
Thanks, let me know if the update helps,
Nathan
