DC input board same for 1GHz and 1.5GHz, 15 inch Aluminum?
Are DC input boards the same? Does anyone know if I can use a DC input
board from a 15 inch, 1Ghz Aluminum Powerbook in a 15 inch, 1.5Ghz Aluminum Powerbook?
I bought an aluminum Powerbook, 15 inch, 1.5GHz with a non-working DC
input board. (It’s the 1.33/1.5) I have a working DC input board from
a 1Ghz aluminum Powerbook. I was assuming these parts were the same,
but I looked at one of the web sites that sell replacement parts and I
see they list different parts for the 1Ghz and 1.5Ghz, although the
parts look very similar. I’m hoping it’s compatible, that even though
they list different parts, the same one will work.
Has anyone tried this? Has anyone tried using a DC input board from a
different, but very similar model?

No it isn't. You'll have to do a little homework to determine the exact dc-in board for your powerbook G4. they are specific. Do a cross between ebay and google searches and you'll be able to narrow it to the exact dc-in board that you'll need. I believe that your problem is the dc-in board because I have a Powerbook G4 15" 1.67 Aluminum SD that I bought off of ebay and it has charging issues also. I bought a new battery and a dedicated Newer Tech battery charger from OWC. But in my research like yours I'm convinced that it is the DC-IN Board. Also check Mac recycling they also sell components and under the dc-in board description it talks about faulty dc-in boards can affect charging issues. Mac Recycling will be a good source for information. check it out and good luck!

Have been doing automated test development (HP's QTP) against SAP systems for over a year. I am not an application expert - very much a newbie when it comes to application knowledge but trying to gain some. I have "googled" the phase "Material is not the same for confirmation and delivery" and have not been able to find any references. What does this mean?
I see this message for an iDoc using WE02. Have looked and looked but don't really know what I'm looking for.

I have never seen that exact message, but I have seen similar ones. Generically, the message probably means that you are attempting to perform a transaction against a document (perhaps a Purchase order?) and the Material number (Part Number) contained in the transaction is not the same as the Material number in the originating document in SAP.
An example might be you have previously created a confirmation against a Purchase order, which now exists in SAP. This Confirmation is for a specific Purchase order, item, and material. Now, when you attempt to create an inbound delivery for the Confirmation, the material number contained in the new IDOC is different from the material number that was contained in the original Confirmation.
I don't know what IDOC Message type you are having the problem with, but generically you can do some troubleshooting. Find the SAP Material number in the IDOC (MATNR probably). Find the appropriate reference document number in the IDOC (confirmation number? Purchase order number? or...?), and then manually review the document in SAP to ensure that the Material numbers are the same.
If you are totally lost, you should really consult with an SAP App expert. I am guessing that this is part of the Materials Management module, so you would be asking for an MM expert.

What is the Message number of the error message? Functionally, what is this IDOC trying to do, from a business perspective?

Is iWork soon to be the same for iOS and Mac
I have a Macbook White 2009. I was looking in the MacApp Store and I noticed that iWork and Microsoft apps cost the same. I wanted to know which are better? I also noticed that iWork has different prices for a Mac and for an iPad because they don't have the same features. Is there any chance that iWork will be the same for Mac and iOS in the near future?. About a week ago I had to install a new operating system and everything was erased, among those apps were Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel. I no longer have the CD to install the apps, do you think I can ask the Apple Store to install them for free? Thank you.
Since Mac OS X and iOS are two different platforms, it's not really possible for the applications to be the same. They may have the same or at least similar functionality, however.
The Apple stores will not install software that you do not have the media for. You can purchase MS Office 2011 Home and Student Edition from Microsoft online for download very inexpensively - about $140.

Yes it should work transferring PSE10 from Mac to Mac. There is a download link below for PSE10, which your friend could use. There is a formal licence transfer process but it’s not necessary for your friend to register the product (activation is sufficient) although he couldn’t benefit from future upgrade pricing without registration. Serial numbers typically can only be registered one time.
Boxed versions of PSE are normally multi-platform with disks for both Windows and Mac; so the serial number is the same. Downloads have tended to be single platform only although I believe the current version PSE12 will work on both Windows and Mac with the same serial number – boxed or download.

Right now, i am using labview 6.1 and 7.1 windows version. can i use the same windows version for linux also?You need to get the Linux version in order to run LV on Linux. You can open and run the VIs you save in Windows in the Linux version and vice-versa, but some things are Windows-specific and will not work (for instance ActiveX, .net, toolkits which are only supported on Windows, etc.). Also, when you open your VI in Linux, LV will tell you it was changed, because the compiled code is saved as part of the VI. The compiled code for Windows and Linux is different, so when you open a Windows VI in Linux, it is recompiled.
You might wish to do a search for "Linux" to see more specific details.

If you created your book with iBooks Author, such books can only be read on an iPad or on a Mac running Mavericks or later.
If you want your book to be available on the iPhone, you have to create it in .epub format. The Apple app for that is Pages. -

The XL cartridges are physically same size with the normal cartridges, only THE volumes of ink inside are not the same. Normally the volume of ink inside a XLcartridge is more than double the volume of ink inside a normal cartridge.
Hope this helps. Note: they must be physcally same size otherwise they won't fit.

Report Layout is not same for excel and odf

Also if you sort an internal table and require records with same key values to keep their respective order, use the STABLE clause.

Change on input to cater for single and multiple files?

I managed to sort it out by doing the following (I'm posting this so that it may help others). I don't know if this is the simplest/most elegant solution - but it works.
In iTunes, find the compilation (in my case, the 153 songs) and, starting with the first song, follow this procedure:
On the iPhone go to 'Songs' and scroll down the list until you find the first song that was listed in iTunes (above). You should notice (as in my case) that the song will have the correct title (and artwork too if you'd found this previously before making the compliation) but the wring artist.
Swipe LEFT and press the 'Delete' button.
Repeat with second song in iTunes list, deleting the individual songs from the iPhone, one by one.
Although tedious, this seemed to work for me. Reason for doing down the iTunes list is that it is in a pseudo-alphabetical order and I wanted to make sure I'd got every one.
Now busy re-importing the original albums from CD.
Thank you APPLE for making this such a laborious process. Why can't designers actually TEST the products they design so that they can appreciate first-hand the likely problems?

Works but not x2 iPad2. WiFi network is the same for printer and all Apple devices. Help.
We are unable to print from ipad2 using Epson Artisan 730 printer. Software download to Macbook was successful but unable to download software to x2 iPad2. All Apple devices are on the same WiFi. I followed the Epson instructions but message box pops up stating Safari unable to download file. Any suggestions.

The iPad and iPad 2 using iOS do not use the same software as your Mac using OS X.
They are entirely different operating systems.
Look in the iPad Apps Store for Epson iPrint app for iPad. It is free.
The Artisan 730 is one of the printers the app supports, so this app should allow you to print from your iPad.
If you're looking from the Mac side, open iTunes, and the iTunes Store, then the App Store, and search for Epson iPrint for iPad -
USB cable the same for iPhone and iPod?
It looks the same, but I want to make sure before I plug it in. I was hoping I could my iPod cables (i have several) for my phone, so I don't have to buy extra phone cables or drag them around with me.
Yep, I do exactly that all the time. They aren't the same shape, but they can be used interchangeably.

You need GSM version (not sure if CDMA are sold in Asia, but if yes - avoid these).
The other GSM models may differ in LTE bands. Check somewhere on Internet what bands providers use in Greece and ask what models are available in Apple Store.

Compatible USB enclosure for hard disk from a 15-inch Aluminum Powerbook
My old Powerbook finally bit the dust, so I dismantled it and removed the hard disk. I want to get an enclosure to use it as a USB drive, but do not know what size or type of enclosure to purchase.
I tried to guess, and ended up buying:

When I got it, the connector in the enclosure was too small for the number of pins on the hard drive. Your Serial ATA (SATA) enclosure isn't what you need, as you've guessed; your drive is a Parallel ATA (PATA, also called IDE) unit and needs an enclosure designed for that interface. Any enclosure intended for 2.5" ATA/IDE/PATA notebook drives will work. Here's one that's almost as dirt cheap as the one you bought:

Note that if you intend to use the newly-repackaged drive with a Powerbook, a USB-only enclosure isn't a good choice unless you get one that can use its own AC adapter. This is because most Powerbooks don't supply enough power through their USB ports to power an external drive. The same Powerbooks do supply sufficient power through their FireWire ports, so an enclosure that can be connected via FireWire is a better choice. If you're going to use the drive with a desktop Mac or an Intel MacBook instead of a Powerbook, a USB enclosure should be fine.
