Hi,
I have installed DCNM 5.2(2c) on windows box to manage Nexus 7K devices.
I have for the time being one device that i have manage and i see often the following text:
Discrepancy in device accounting log,Recommended action: clear the accounting log and discover the device. Device details are not available.
How can i delete the accounting log and why do i have this message ?

Go to the VDC you are discovering and input the following:-
"clear accounting log"
Re-discover the device in DCNM and it should be successful.

If you are using your main account for iTunes, you should continue to do so, otherwise you will lose access to many of your purchased items made that account.
You can delete the AOL account for iCloud only on your iPhone and first iPad, by going to settings > iCloud, scrolling down and hitting delete account button. You will then enter your me account details into the iCloud settings.
When you delete your AOL account from the iCloud settings, the phone should give you the option of keeping your data on the phone, you need to make sure that you choose this option, and also choose the option to merge when you add your new account back.

Apple Pay: The last 4 digits of my device account number is not showing up on my phone.

My credit card company needs the last 4 digits of my device account number, and only ***** (stars) show up under my divice account number. I have 8.1 installed, and have tried restarting my phone. Any suggestions on how to get my divice account number to show?

My credit card is obviously activated, as I was just able to use Apple Pay with it at a store (where they didn't ask for any DAN code). When I view the card in Passbook, it says nothing about whether it's been activated, one way or the other, but obviously the card is working for Apple Pay.
But I just did find the DAN, way, way down at the very bottom of the Info page, below the whole list of recent transactions.
Nowhere in any documentation I've seen does it indicate that this would be at the very bottom and one has to scroll so far down. Does seem like an unfriendly place to put it,

Perhaps novice Q: multiple devices/accounts, versus single Mac

My family members have multiple ipads, iphones etc, and separate itunes accounts. we are in process of consolidating PCs/Macs etc, such that we may only have one main household Mac. Can one Mac support syncing/updates etc across mulipe devices & accounts, whilst keeping accounts & libraries independant?
i have tried and failed miserably. i suspect i am missing something obvious any advice?

Well it seems like the first thing you should do is consolidate your iTunes libraries so that you don't have 4 copies of everything, one for each user logged in to your Mac Mini. How you do that is consolidate all 4 iTunes folders to one folder located in the /Users/Shared/ folder and update each of your iTunes to point to that folder accordingly. That way you have one iTunes library, only one copy of your media, but accessible from multiple users.
One caveat is that if somebody is logged on and has iTunes open, you can't fast switch to another user and open iTunes. Apple made it so that only one user and one instance of iTunes can open a iTunes library at a time.
For your iTunes match situation, it does sound like you would be much better off sharing a single Apple ID with one iTunes Match. For consolidating, make sure you have everything everybody has shared via Home Sharing to the main account you'd like to move over to, and then simply go to each device Settings, Store, and the sign out of the original Apple ID and logon using the shared main Apple ID. I just looked at it and the automatic downloading is already live in iOS! You can specify if you want to do music, apps, and books separately in case you may want to automatically download music but not apps or books.

Why is digital music is freely copyable, yet movies and eBooks are still tied to a device/account?

If I download a song from iTunes, I can copy it to any device that plays music, even non-Apple ones. Yet if I buy a movie, TV show, or eBook, I can only view it on the device/account I used to make the purchase.

I will not be able to answer question directly with yes or no, but since it is an excellent question I will try to elaborate. For now we are going to leave icloud drive alone and find out what apple id is associated with backup.
1. Icloud backup is definitely starts to be attached to icloud id. So if you do need to restore your information from icloud that is the first thing you asked for. But after initial settings restore you are actually asked for all other id's that attached to licensed content that was inside of your phone's backup. So if you downloaded free or purchased some stuff in itunes/app store - your apple id is attached to those and asked for during download. Here is why some people who use torrents to get music will be asked to provide apple id's they do not know and will call Apple or come here to say that their account was hacked.
2. Itunes backup. Unlike icloud itunes designed in the way where it splits backup in two. Backup of settings - done by "backup now" button. Backup of licensed content - done by transferring purchases (that is done by clicking "file-devices- transfer purchases"). Settings backup is not attached to anything, but restore will place both ID's on the phone. Applications/music backup while not requiring any kind of info for restore, requires appleid to be authorized for the computer in question.
That is probably the best I can do, but would like to add that for any particular situation or with time info above can and will change, as Apple changes mac to me to cloud to drive and to the future.

Edit: You do however get an email notification when someone signs in to your Apple ID on a new device.

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Is my device secure logged into someone else's icloud?

We have Ipads at work that we can use for work related things. All teh devices are logged into one persons Icloud. Is this secure? The VP for our department wants to use it for email adn stuff and I am concerned taht if someone else is logged intot eh cloud that her device is not secure. can anyone clear this up for me? is it secure or not? This article discussess iCloud security: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4865, but the primary issue you'll run into sharing a single account is that when you do this, everyone's synced data is merged, and the merged data appears on everyone's device(s). Also, any action on one device is replicated to all other device. If, for example, one person deletes a contact on their device, it is then deleted from all other devices sharing the account. You would end up seeing, for example, each other's contacts, calendars, email, etc. Each iCloud account also comes with a single iCloud email account and 5GB of free storage, up to a maximum of 55GB with purchased upgrades. With a number of people sharing the account you would quickly run out of space and may not be able to purchase enough to accomodate everyone.
Furthermore, iCloud is designed for personal rather than business use. As such there are limits imposed on services like email that may not be sufficient for a business environment (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4863 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4489).

Accounting Log filling up with useless data

I am getting my ACS Accounting logs filled with useless data from about 12 devices. I think I have found the cause - I just don't know how to fix it.
The accounting data has a username we have not used for months, and I stumbled upon this by looking at various show commands on the devices that are causing the problem.
When I do a "sh aaa sessions", I see this:

I am not trying to access anything I keep getting the message that my cloud is full than go to it to find that is is full of things from my computer and pictures from the Sims game spent 3 hours yesterday as it kept telling me that Verizon was not available. Why is my cloud not backing up my phone but randomly backing up my computer which I do not need. This is using the desktop Icon. When I was at my friend's party, I logged into my game centre using his iPad. However, I forgot to log out when I left. Now he has been hacking my Clash of Clans daily. This may be a question best asked Apple. With iOS6, Game Center has been made almost impossible to log out of. meaning, I log out in game center itself, and certain games log me back in, even after I've logged out. So it seems even after you log out of the Game Center app itself, certain games have logged and keep your password and log you back in.
You friend may be messing with your account, but it's also just as likey that he's playing the game and can't get and keep your account logged out.

I just asked the same thing and did some research. Some people have said that the UDID code is like banned from instagram, but your account isn't. I'm able to use it on my phone but not on my iPod.

Winston's answer is appropriate if you meant Mail on your Mac, a reasonable assumption since you posted the question in the "iCloud on my Mac" forum rather than the "icloud.com" forum.
If you meant to ask if you can have multiple accounts logged into the icloud.com webmail (as seems likely from your use of the phrase "via the iCloud homepage", I think you cannot do that in the same browser instance. You probably can do it by having separate browser instances on diferent accounts on your Mac or in diferent browsers (e.g., one in Safari, one in Firefox, one in Chrome). I have not tested that, however.

Radius Authentication - Reauthentication via Accounting logs

Hi, we'r working on a scenario like this;
Client logs in to an WLAN via dot1x authentication, though we want to be able to disable re-authentication of the client on the radius when the session-timeout is reached. We also need the accounting logs to make sure that we can also kill the session if a certain traffic limit is reached. (WiSM-1 , 7.0.116 code)
The thing is that, whenever the session timeout occurs(that we set manually on the wlan), the client re-authanticates automatically and we can see access-requests and stuff though in terms of status we only see an "interim-update" accounting package in the radius thus unable to take action. The controller also uses PMK lifetime instead of the session-timeout we set which, I suppose, is derived fromt he session-timeout and some other timers as well. How do we get an accouting log when the session-timeout is reached thus the client needs to reauthenticate? (or how do we differentiate it actually, since we already see a log but its just an interim-update log)
WLC fires this when the PMK timeout is triggered.

Is there a way to enforce a session-timeout and make sure that the client will not re-auth automatically after this timeout and get and appropriate radius log?. PS: PMK cannot be disabled before 7.2 and WiSM-1 doesn't support that.

The thing is, after an idle-timeout expires, I can see a stop accouting log at the radius side.
But after a session-timeout expires, I can only see an (re)authentication (without any start of course) and an interim-update log which gives no clue if this is a normal interim update or its sent because of the session-timeout. How am I to find which interim-update means a re-auth because of a session-timeout? or is it possible to make it send another accounting log to help me mark the session end?

Which OS X is installed on your Mac ?
Click the Apple () menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac. The version is noted there.
Make sure your Mac OS X software is up to date.
Disconnect the iPad from your Mac.
Open System Preferences > Software Update > Check Now
If any updates are required, make sure to restart your Mac after the updates are installed then connect your iPad and see if iTunes recognizes it under Devices.
