DCNM v7.1 fabric already exist error message

Do you konw where storage san device in dcnm because when i try to add another this show me that the same device exist,but i can found in screen,

Hi Marco,
DCNM will discover the entire SAN fabric from a single discovery job. By entering the IP address of an initial seed switch, DCNM finds and adds adjacent switches. It is likely that the .34 switch was found by one of the 2 previous discovery jobs. There are two places in DCNM to determine if the switch has already been discovered.
You can find a list of all devices managed by DCNM, including SAN devices, in the Web GUI under [Inventory > Switches]. Additionally, you can launch the DCNM-SAN java client to view the fabric as well as configure the devices. To launch the SAN client, open the DCNM Web GUI and find the 'DCNM-SAN' button in the upper right corner of the screen. The SAN client accepts the same user credentials as the Web GUI. Once logged into the SAN client, select the discovered fabric and 'open' it to view all of its devices.

Hi,
During creating a Vendor I am facing a problem, I get message as "Vendor XXX(number) Already Exists". I have checked the number ranges for vendor and found that current number in the system for the vendors exceeds the number XXX, mentioned above.
I dont understand why this is happening.

Go to SE16 , enter the table name as LFA1 .
Enter the vendor number for which you are getting the error .
Execute and view the record for which you are getting the error , you will come to know who has created the vendor and when , check the corresponding entry in LFB1 for more details .
Else , execute the T code FK03 and enter the vendor number and check the vendor details .

We have installed a BI 7.0 system recently and I am setting up the server to connect to SAP ERP.
In TA SM59 a connection to the SAP ERP has been established. The Remote Logon is OK, (meaning clicking it nothing happens). The Connection Test is OK.
According to the Best Practices paper: B84: BI Connectivity (B84)

I have done the following:
In TA RSA1
1.     Choose Modeling.
2.     Choose Source Systems.
3.     Select SAP in the window on the right.
4.     Choose the Context menu (right mouse click).
5.     Choose Create.
6.     Make the following entries:
Available destination: (The above tested connection)
Background user in source system: RFCUSER (I created the user in ERP according to step 1.4 in B84)
Password for source system: *****
Background user in BI: RFCUSER (I created the user in BI according to step 1.4 in B84)
Password for BI user: *****
8.     In the dialog box Please log on as an administrator in the following screen choose Continue.
9.     Log on to the Source System with your administrator user. Choose the correct client.
10.     On the dialog box New Source System Connection choose Continue.
THEN I GET THE ERROR:
Source system already exists.
Message no. RSAR201
What is wrong? I cannot locate any SAP notes to help on this problem.

just some guessing at this point...
a)
Is the connection really new? For example, was there another system connected to that ERP, maybe with the same logical name? Or was any of the two systems copied from another system?
b)
Authorisations issues in this process may result in strange error messages. Make sure that the admin user in step 9 really has SAP_ALL. There are a lot of complex activities that this user must be able to do (ALE management, RFC access etc.). To exclude issues with the RFCUSER users: If possible, give them SAP_ALL, too. Of course only temporarily for testing.
c)
I normally don't use existing RFC destinations. Usually, I let the system create those, too. So maybe it makes a difference if you remove the RFC destinations on both sides and try again. In that case, you will of course have to provide the RFC details when creating the source system connection...

Fabric Already exists

Good morning!
I'm trying to add a fabric with 4 SAN's directors MDS-9513 in DCNM WEB and DCNM client server, but is having the message that the fabric already exist.
Anyone know how I can find this fabric again? I'm using DCNM 5.2.2E.
My Other fabric with 4 other SAN's directors I could add

I solved this problem, Unisstalled the DCNM 5.2.2E installed and again and now this working with my 2 fabrics

Package does not exist error-message

When I try to compile a java servlet with the following piece of code I get a compilation error referring to the import statement.
I have just included the initial import statements. A large number of errors follow, as a result of this 'package does not exist error-message'.
Has anyone encountered this or any ideas?

That's probably because you are trying to integrate j2me suff with j2se/ee. That won't work without los of extra work..

Getting Object already exist error when installing adobe reader

I'm unable to install any Adobe application programs on my Windows 7 machine. I tried Adobe Reader XI, Lightroom 5.6, Photoshop CC, etc. All resulted with "Object Already Exist" error. I searched on Adobe site for fix, and there was one to delete Crypto file. However, this resulted with the same error. How can I install Adobe Reader?

Your approach is correct in identifying the error. I used ProcMon from Sysinternals (now Microsoft) and came up with the following events leading up to "Object already exists" error. The error occurs after opening C:\Users\%account%\AppData\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-....... file. If the Crypto directory is missing, MSIEXEC.EXE will create along with RSA subdirectory and file name starting with S-1-5..... There were five NAME NOT FOUND events, and their sequence is
     Windows Installer Logging item in HKLM\SOFTWARE registry
     C:\Users\%account%\AppData\Local\Temp\MSI7058d.LOG (this file was created at the next step)
     Windows Installer Debug item in HKLM\SOFTWARE registry
     FontSubstitution in HKLM\SOFTWARE registry
     CTF Known Classes item in HKLM|SOFTWARE registry
I don't know which one causing the error, but my suspicion is the last one. But I don't know how to fix it. Is there anyone who can give me insight to what is happening and how to fix it?

Folder name already exists error when activating feature

HI,
I am creating a document library and adding folders to it using elements.xml in VS 2012.
First time deployment of the item works fine, the folder is created. But further deployment or activation of feature from site features is throwing the error "Folder name already exists".
Below is the elements.xml of List Instance, which was modified to add the folders.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got “Folder name already exists error when activating feature”.
I had used the following code snippet to create a folder within a document library, it didn’t throw errors when reactive the feature.

Also, when you redeploy the project, it will give you a dialog which would promote to delete the existed list or not.
If you click the “Resove Automatically”, the visual studio would delete the existed list automatically, and create a new list.

I'm getting an 'objects already exist' error when trying to download itunes

My iPhone 6 wouldn't connect to iTunes since it need to update. So I went to uninstall iTunes and all it's contents. I went to download iTunes again, but when I did I received an 'Object already exists' error. I went to look at more information on the Apple website and I tried everything I could but I keep receiving the error. I uninstalled anything related to Apple on my computer and I went to the Program Files folder on my computer and found nothing related to Apple so I'm pretty sure I deleted all the data already. I really need help with this. I have a Windows 7 computer.

For "Object already exists" or "Access denied" errors when installing try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). Uninstall if you have it, then reboot and try installing again.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

"Receipt Number Already Assigned" error message in F-28 screen

When posting Incoming Payment using T Code: F-28, we got "Receipt Number Already Assigned" error message. Can any one hanve any idea why system has shown this error message?

do you enter a payment advice number or document number?
Seems like you want to enter a number that has been already entered before, so system does not accept to have same entry.
Check your entry, if corect check old one. Or add something to the number to make it unique.

EXPDP generates new dmp file and reports "file already exists" error

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I got some problems with datapump expdp 10.2.0.4. It would be appreciated if you could provide some advice. Thanks in advance.
I newly created a 10.2.0.4 database. The database can startup and be connected via Toad without problem. I can also use impdp to import some data to the new database. But when I'm trying to use expdp to export a schema from the database, I got the following errors:

Every time I run the expdp, it just creates the dmp file (expdp_scott_mfp1_12262011.dmp) specified in the parfile under the EXPORT directory and reports "file already exists " error.

Excise invoice already exists error in J1IS

Created the Subcontracting PO , and Issue the material to vendor ( mov type 541) with payment of duty, after this created the Excise invoice with T.code J1IS, system was generated the Excise entries in table J_1IEXCDTL and J_1IEXCHDR.
After that we have reversed the excise entries, so now we got "R"Indicator in status field in above said table J_1IEXCDTL.
Now system should allow me to create one more excise invoice with same Material document number but sytem was giving error message that "excise invoice already exists"
Why system was allowing us to create new excise invoice?

you can't create another Excise document with same Material Doc.Because for this Material document already Excise document exit even though it is reversed.i think you have to delete Material document from J_1IEXCDTL and J_1IEXCHDR. then try to create new

File name replaced with Tilde (~), name already exists error

When exporting jpg files in Lightroom 4 I've recently had an issue with some of the files containing a tilde (~), the 43rd file in the series often gets it as well as a few others. So in the series one might be named 43-MA~1.jpg instead of the 43-Maegan-details.jpg that I originally named the file.
When I've tried to rename these files from the finder I get the error "name already exists". If I rename it to something totally different it works but if I then try to rename it the original filename I wanted it gives me the error again or reverts to the name with the ~.
I'm running 10.6.8, and the problem has been happening the past few weeks but I've never had the problem before. I can't figure out what is causing the problem and it's not every export but it's a huge hassle to try and rename the files.

This is the one error message that I have gotten in years with Encore. In my case, I had created a Project to be used as a "template," and had done the layout, Imported the common Assets, and then used this as the basis for a 17 DVD set, just Importing the unique Assets to each. Everything went perfectly, until disc 15. Maybe I was sloppy, as I had just completed 14 such Projects that day, but when I went to Build, I got that error. I tried un-Linking and re-Linking Assets, and checked all Menus. Nothing - just that error. Flushed Media Cache, and only the error. I posted here, with the details and asking for ideas.
In the meantime, I just grabbed my "template" Project and Imported those same, unique Assets. Used my altered Menus from bad Project and did my linking, exactly (or so I thought) as I had just done. This time, the Build was successful and # 15 thru 17 went without a hitch.
I had Saved that bad Project, and several folk offered suggestions. I tried them all, but never could get it to Build. I always got that error. I finally gave up testing and chalked it up to OE on my part, but I never figured out what I had done wrong, as I really thought that it was by the numbers.
Based on my experience, I would just start a new Project, being careful in the workflow. That was the only thing that worked for me.

well i have stored the user data on SAN i have made a symbolic link of that slice of SAN on /var/opt/SUNWmsgr/store/primary/partition/
when data is stored it is actually storing on SAN slice .
The problem i am having is i have restarted the server and then i forget to mount that slice on that location i had told before .
i started the messengering server , i released what wrong have been done by me and then i stop the server and mounted the SAN slice and again started the
Messaging server.
The error i started having is when a user login in for the first time one gets the error on a dialog box that >> mailbox already exist . how ever when the one use to login in for the second time no error occurred and every thing went fine .
i was very confused that if the SAN slice goes down may be due to network problem as it is NFS then again this problem will occur.
I think that when the messaging server goes to \=user (Symbolic link for user data) it gets nothing and it assumes that users mail boxes has to be created, as it flushes its database about the users mail boxes ..
ANY SOLUTIONS PLEASE

For example say I had a mount point at:
/var/opt/SUNWmsgr/store/primary/partition/primary
When nothing is mounted at /var/opt/SUNWmsgr/store/primary/partition/primary, change the ownership of the mount point to root:root. When the SAN slice is mounted, the partition of the mount point will go back to mailsrv:mail (or whatever the default is for your messaging installation).

How can I stop from getting the "Firefox is already running" error message when trying to open links and FF has already been opened through a symbolic link?

I use symbolic links and program shortcuts as a way to easily open different Firefox profiles ie. one for casual/personal use and another for work. This works well, but I get the "Firefox is already running, but is not responding" error message if I try to open external links with FF as my default browser. FF is actually open and running fine, but I guess it doesn't acknowledge this fact because of how I'm originally starting the process.
I wasn't able to add the symbolically linked executables to the default program pane. Is there a way to bypass this error or other way to fix this?

Number range does not exist error message while releasing billing document

Hi,
We are trying to release a billing document to Accounting through VF02. But the system throws an error message that "For object RF_BELEG 1000, number range interval does not exist FBN1". Note : System does not specify which number range is missing...
There are existing number range intervals for the company code which looks fine. Any advise where this number ranges are missing.

I suggest you to check the which document type has assigned for biiling document and against that document type , have to ssign the id for number range and check whethere internal assignment or external assignment.
I hope this will make sense.
