DDE: Problem Key 'ORA 445' was completely flood controlled

OK, I got this after a bunch of background process did not starts, I see there is a bug and patch for products that can be patched. Anybody else see it? Anything to do besides 3 fingered salute? Anyone know anything?

Virtual machine (some MS product), XP Professional SP3.

---------------- End of Call Stack Trace -----------------Since this is XE and a known bug, my expectations aren't too high. Should I just reboot every week?
There is a dblink that comes in every half hour and deletes and adds around 4K rows in a table. Everything else is just a bored database playing with itself.
I see from MOS ORA-00445 Is Reported While Waiting Too Long To Spawn A Process [ID 1382349.1] an event to set. Should I? Or should I make some dummy process to give the db something to do? (The thinking on the latter is that with so little for the db to do, Windows is making startup of normal things take longer).
Bug 9871302 by the way, buried in there is a mention of background processes failing to start.

    Hello,
I have oracle 11gR2 installed on OVMAs previously posted, you must open a SR to My Oracle Support.
In *11.2* you have the possibility with ADR (Automatic Diagnostic Repository) to create a Incident Package that you could send to the Support. It can help in the resolution process.
Please, find enclosed a link to this new features in 11g:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e17120/diag002.htm#CHDJDBCH
    Hope this help.
    Best regards,
    Jean-Valentin

  • Problem with ssh and bash-completion

I and a co-worker are having a weird problem with ssh and bash-completion. We have a local config in .ssh/config with hosts we connect everyday. An example:
    host foo
    hostname foo.org
    user foobar
    host foobar
    hostname foobar.org
    user foobar
    When we try to type
    ssh foo<tab><tab>b<tab>
the console just freeze and we can't type anything, everything we type is ignored, but after about 30 seconds the host is completed.
This works a some time ago, so some upgrade make this happen. Anyone can reproduce this?

All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:
    1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
    and
    2. iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Now I've checked the forums and followed the advice of uninstalling all Apple applications, rebooting, and reinstalling iTunes.
This is not working. I've tried installing as Administrator but doesn't make any difference at all.
There must be a way to fix this? I'm not a tech geek but I want to avoid having to take my laptop back to factory settings to sort this out.
    Thanks

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I have a MAC Pro from 2011 currently running MAC OS 10.9.5.  This weekend I cloned the MAC HD drive to a new SSD drive for improved performance.  The clone was completed successfully with no errors.  After the clone completed I successfully restarted my system using the SSD as the boot device.  I then successfully tested all of my products, including Photoshop CS6 and all of its plug-ins.  I successfully tested the key features that I frequently use.  Today while attempting to launch Photoshop CS6 a message is being displayed indicating that a scratch disk cannot be found.  All drives are available on the system via the Finder and Disk Utility.  I can access all drives including the old MAC HD which is no longer the boot device.  I've even attempted to launch Photoshop from the old device yet the same error persist.  Is there a way to review/edit/change Photoshop preferences if Photoshop doesn't launch?  I've even restarted my system several times to see if that would resolve the issues.  Does anyone have any recommendations for this issue?  Have you previously address this issue?
    Thank you Gregg Williams

  • While backing up my iPhone 4 with iCloud, it stated the update was completed, but I had a few more steps to follow.  This is where I messed up.  I hit continue and got stuck to choose a network.  I have Verizon, so when I selected Other, I got stuck!

I was backing up my iPhone using iCloud.  It stated the update was completed and to select continue.  Now I have to choose a Network???  I am with Verizon, not Wi-Fi, even though we have Wi-Fi for my laptop.  Selecting other asks for Network Name and Security.  I am lost!  I cannot get out of it!

Assuming the phone isn't jailbroken, the basic steps (as needed) are:
Restart phone (you already did this)
    Reset phone
Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup
See appendix B of the User Guide for details
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPhone_iOS4_User_Guide.pdf
If your phone is jailbroken, this is the most frequent cause of the problems you described.  Restoring could permanently brick the phone.
Note that your iOS is old and the current version is 4.2.8.  It's odd that it wasn't updated when your activated your phone in iTunes, being that you got it last Friday.

    Hi everybody.
I have this problem on a Windows Server 2012 Datacenter, offering SCOM2012 and VMM2012 SP1  services.
If I try to access to \\servername\c$ , or vmm agent on a server try to access it, in the "Server Manager , File and Storage Services, Servers" console I can see the message, every minutes:
    servername ID 30620 Warning
    Microsoft-Windows-SMBClient Microsoft-Windows-SMBClient/Operational - Connection to server \servername IP Address x.x.x.x:445 was aborted.
I alreday apply the registry update:
    LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy QWORD = 1
UAC and firewall on the server are disabled.
Anyone have some suggestion for me ?
    Thanks.
    Gabriel

Two HP DL Servers - a DL380 G5 and a DL 360 G5 - running Server 2012 Standard with Hyper-V.  Both servers have HP NC373i onboard Gigabit NICs.
NIC 1 is for Management OS, NIC 2 is dedicated to Hyper-V.  The latest/greatest HP Management software, drivers, firmware for Server 2012 are installed on both servers.
Could copy files to/from other servers with no problem, and near gigabit speed.  All other networking appeared normal.
Could not copy files to each other. Could ping each other though.
Ran the above command and rebooted both servers - issue has gone away.
I've got a few more of these older HP servers that I'm going to test with Server 2012.

    EricvdS,
thanks for the link. I checked the link. It only lists unpublished bugs. It also recommends to run this:
    alter system set events '10281 trace name context forever, level xxxxxx';
but I don't see any other solution.

  • Am I able to get a refund with the movie I rented because the movie download was complete but only played 1/4 of the movie

Am I able to get a refund with the movie I rented because the movie download was complete but only played 1/4 of the movie and wouldn't play the rest?

iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) should either grant you a re-download or credit you if it didn't play in its entirety - try the 'report a problem' page to contact them : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Unfortunately CleanMyMac is as harmful, if not moreso, than MacCleanse. These third party cleaning apps are considered 'crapware' and can harm your system beyond repair. If you cannot uninstall them completely, as appears, it may pay to backup your data, reinstall avericks and migrate your important data back. You can try posting an etrecheck report and perhaps someone can help narrow down what you need to trash from all the areas that these programs have infected.
etresoft  a long time contributer to Apple Support Communities wrote a very useful app he called etrecheck which helps in diagnosing many problems caused by third party installs etc.. Go to his website, read his information and from there download and run the program according to his instructions
