DDNS configuration no more free hosting

Hello,
my router gateway WAG320N is configured with dyndns.org and working fine, but in 30 days the free account on Dyndns.org provider will be no longer "free" (i received an email from dyn.org)
My question is: there is any alternative to setup in DDNS page in router configuration any other free provider?
note that the two available choise are "Dyndns.org" and "TZO.com" acquired from dyn also

I couldn't agree more. They've released this model way back 2009 and if there was a firmware update it should be released 4 years ago. The best option would be to upgrade to the much newer model with much more advance features.

I've got a CC subscription so I'm aware that I get free hosting for up to 5 sites however I saw today that it only includes WebBasic sites however I can not find the information to what that includes. I have searched on the forums and I have found likes but all seem to be outdated and have changed.
I'm using Muse to produce the site in order to promote my work as a student graphic designer for jobs and interns so I will have picture galleries (Muse widget), a contact form and wish it to be phone and tablet compatible.

More free space after iOS 5 upgrade!.

I actually have 2.5 Gb more free space on my 32Gb iPhone 4 after the iOS5 upgrade. Is this possible?

I am also lost. I upgraded itunes and ios5 on my iPhone4. Now I have a gray slate screen on my IP4 that just says iPhone, and I am being asked to configure my device. I cannot receive phone calls. They go directly to voice mail, and I cannot make phone calls. I have tried "everything". Even with it "looking like" a backup/restore may be in process, it does not backup or restore. I have no device, no music, no contacts, no pictures. Can anyone help? Please....

Any one Mac or iOS device can create only three iCloud accounts: this is tied to the serial number, not the user account. If you have already created three then all you can do is to use another Mac or iOS device to create a new iCloud account - once done you can sign into it on the device in question.

We are running a SAP ERP Ecommerce, we get a strange alert box message "no more free items available, please create a new one". This alert window pops up only when you have created one order in a session and you are trying to create another order. Has anyone come across this issue?
Steps to recreated this issue
1. Create an order with any product - quantity is rounded to next possible value.
2. Order created, close the order.
3. Trying to create new order. (Product field is not a text box anymore)
4. Try to transfer product from catalog by hitting shopping basket icon.
5. Error message -> "No more free items available, please create new one".

Made site in Dreamweaver, doesn't display correctly using free hosts

Hello everyone
I'm just a beginner using DW and have a slightly older
version - DW MX2004. I have built my site in DW, and wanted to try
a free web hosting service until I see if I like having a website
and will actually be good at keeping it updated before I find a
paid service.
The problem is that whenever I upload my files into the free
webhosting service (I've tried several - Bravenet, Freehostia,
110mb) the pages don't display any of the formatting shown in DW. I
used a page design CSS sample to create the pages in DW, would that
make a difference?
Is it just that the free hosting services don't support DW?
Am I missing a step in my design before I try and upload them?

Are you using an external css file? If you are make sure to
point it to the root directory by placing a "/" slash (minus the
quotes. So for example if your path is
href="css/style.css"
change it to
href="/css/style.css"
I don't actually use any of dreamweaver templates or wizards,
so I'm not sure how it creates the paths. Hope this helps.
Note: As far as I know dreamweaver is just an editor
(glorified notepad) and doesn't have any effect on your files and
doesn't need any support on hosts. There may be some advanced
features that require support but none that I am aware of.

Need more free space

My kids are playing Sims 2 and occasionally the game will not load because the Imac says that we need more available free space. Does anyone know how to remedy this?
Also, would increasing the amount of Virtual Memory resolve this? If so, how do I do that?

The reference is to disk space not memory. Apparently your hard drive is too full. You either need to delete some data to make more free space or put in a larger hard drive or get an external drive and move some files from the internal drive to the external drive to free up space.
Virtual memory is under the control of the OS and expands or contracts as needed. There's no need for the user to modify the amount of VM.

I have a multi-tenant environment in SharePoint 2010 server. Different tenants are hosted by one web app.
One content source has been created to crawl the all shared environment. (the only URL added in the content source settings = URL of the
web app)
Crawl everything under the hostname for each start address has been selected when creating this content source.
Now I have created a new tenant hosted by the same web app. For this new tenant I want to have a different crawl schedule. Simple , I just create a new content source and add the host URL of this tenant. With the same settings has the other content source.
After having started a full crawl I get 0 success and 1 warning : “This URL is part of a host header SharePoint deployment and the search application is not configured to crawl
individual host header sites. This will be crawled as a part of the host header Web application if configured as a start address.”
The first content source is well crawling the new tenant freshly created. Could you tell me where I’m wrong?

Baldo,
In the configuration that you described you now have 2 content sources set to crawl the same content. If you have a content source with a start address of http://servername/ then it is going to crawl everything past that address. If you are now changing
the crawl schedule based on the individual site collections, you will need to move your start addresses further down the URL.
For Example:
1st Content Source:
http://servername/ as a start address would now become
http://servername/site1
http://servername/site2
2nd Content Source:
http://servername/site3
Also remember that all crawling must happen on the default zone. If you are trying to crawl a zone that the web application has been extended into, that will not work.

Dear Experts ,
We are in a process of upgradation and during Unit testing I am facing a issue for which i require your suggestions.
While Converting the Planned order to prod Ord in CO40 every thing is ok except when i check in component overview i get a msg "No more free item numbers (Please check)" and the BOM item numbers are visible as 9999 where as it should be 0010 & 0020 .May i know why is it so and how can i rectify it .

I suggest you to do the conversion for a single planned order in TCode : CO41 or from MD04(screen itself by double clicking) and check the production order in Tcode ; CO02 / CO03.

Can I purchase more "free space" due to the following message that comes up on my iMac Pro when attempting to sync with my iPad: The iPad cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 11.03 GB required). Several encrypted .dmg files show much more free space that the total size of the file.

I have several encrypted .dmg files on my macbook air running OS X 10.10.1 I have had them for years with no problems. Now suddenly, in the finder, at the bottom of the finder window where it shows the number of items and free space for a disk, it shows more free space than the full size of the .dmg file. Typically it will show about 200MB for a 100 MB file. Obviously, this is a bug, but I can find no information or discussions about it anywhere.
Does anyone have the same problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

I rebuilt the spotlight index as suggested.
I tried it twice, rebooting the computer a couple of time along the way.
Below you can see the actual file as it occurs in the finder in its unopened form.
Now, below here is what the finder reports at the bottom of the finder window when the file is opened and added as a virtual disk.
Note that the total file size is 102.5 Mb
Yet the finder says it has 234.5 Mb free!
The actual size of the files on the disk add up to about 60 Mb
This occurs with several similar dmg files.
Any other ideas or experiences would be appreciated.

Configurations, instances, nodes, virtual hosts, clusters ... oh my!

Perhaps I am being dense, but I am having some trouble wrapping my head around the different "objects" of a SJS web server 7 installation. It is not clear to me how they relate/map to each other and to real processes on the server (logical architecture, mapped to physical architecture).
I had the same difficulty with WebSphere App Server 6 terminology until, with one fell swipe of the Sword of Fundamental Truthiness, a very brilliant instructor cleared it up for me when he said (using WAS6 parlance) "a 'profile' is the on-disk configuration, files etc, of a node. 1 profile = 1 node. The node is the run-time object describe by the profile." Bingo. Everything (nodes, servers, cells, profiles) made sense after that.
I've been through the docs, but it is still not clear to me. Any lucid descriptions would be appreciated. There's configurations, nodes, instances, virtual hosts, listeners, clusters.
Is a cluster a collection of nodes? Or instances? Virtual server vs. instance? A "configuration" is the on-disk configuration/files etc describing a ???" Maybe there is a nice diagram out there someplace that maps all these bits together?

[In the text below, I use leading CAPS to differentiate between generic use of a term and Web Server's use of a term ... instance vs. Instance for example.]
To say "an Instance is a Configuration deployed to a Node" doesn't make any sense to me, since an "Instance" is a configuration item within the Configuration. Maybe it is technically correct
I think I have the following correct:
* A Configuration defines/describes an HTTP service that you wish to provide. It ties together all the elements required to define that service: ports to listen on, SSL or no SSL, document roots, access control and so on.
* You deploy Configurations to Nodes. You define which Nodes to deploy the Configuration to using the Instances tab within the Configuration. The Instance is the run-time representation within a Node of the Configuration (as the Node is the run-time representation within a Cell of the on-disk Profile in WebSphere). You may only have one Instance of a Configuration per available Node. If you have multiple Configurations, you can deploy one Instance of each Configuration to a single Node. An important point here is that Instances really have nothing to do with Virtual Hosts or HTTP Listeners. They are related to Configurations. Configurations have a one-to-(potentially)-many relationship with Instances. Instances within a single Configuration have a one-to-one relationship with Nodes.
* A Listener listens for incoming HTTP requests on a single port. You may have multiple Listeners per Configuration. A Listener forwards incoming HTTP requests to the "appropriate" Virtual Host.
* You can map a single Listener (therefore a single port) onto multiple Virtual Hosts, (Why would you do this?) and of course, multiple Listeners onto a single Virtual Host. Listeners and Virtual Hosts have a many-to-many relationship.
* A virtual host is really the definition of the "real HTTP service", by which I mean it defines the doc root, access controls etc.
I think I have it straight. I apologize if this is amateur. I am hoping to replace all my Apache servers with SJSWS and need to have all my ducks lined up to make the argument for doing so.
