De-activate AD user

Hello All,
Is there a setting (on shared services) to “Deactivate or Remove user” if User does not log on to any Hyperion products since specific period of time?
Lets say, if User1 do not log on to Hyperion Financial Reports more than 30 or 60 days, then Shared Services “Deactivate or remove” the user from Financial Reports or from particular group?

I am not aware of any setting like that for financial reports, it is possible to deactivate or deprovision a user though.

    The situation is:
    I'm using the enhancement QQMA0025, which has the user exit EXIT_SAPLIQS0_017. Well, I created code in the user's exit include (ZXWOCU21). Activated the include and the user exit and it executes correctly.
    What seems strange to me is that there is no project in CMOD which has the enhancement QQMA0025. So, the user exit should not execute (but it is still executing).
    And here comes the question of the subject: "Does SAP activate some user exits (enhancements) implicitily?"
    If yes, explain me how to find them and so on.

I have found a table TFDIR, which has a field MAND that tell us if a user exit is active. How?
If MAND has value 'C' then that user exit is active. The user exit is identified by the FUNCNAME field.

Your question isn't at all clear. Is this a second-hand phone which has been locked by the previous user? In that case only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.
You should not post serial numbers or any other personal data here; I've asked the Hosts to remove it.

[SOLVED]Attempt to passivate/activate custom user data not working

I have an ADF BC application written in JDev 10.1.3.3 and our customers are reporting intermittent "Missing param at index xxx" error messages. I gathered that this could be related to passivation/activation problems in our application. I switched the app module jbo.ampool.doampooling=false and found that app failed repeatedly with the error even after patch 6215854.
I tried converting to 10.1.3.4 and found that the application ran without error even with jbo.ampool.doampooling=false. However on one of the pages I am using a tree object which utilises a View Link Accessor that contains a bind variable. To set the value of the bind variable I am using VO client interface methods as per Steve Muench's example 113

The variable I am passing to the VO client interface methods is stored in a session scope bean and doesn't survive the activation/passivation process.
So I followed the instructions here

and put my value into the user session hash table and try to write that value to the passivation snapshot.
The problem comes in the activation stage. Processing does not pass the line in bold tags because the length of the nodeList = 0. It seems to find a nodeList from "custId" but its length is zero. Any ideas why that could be?

Thanks Timo that debug output was really useful
My initial error was that I was setting a property custId and then trying to retrieve custID - oops
It turns out that the session scope bean data was surviving passivation/activation but the value in the bind variable in the view link accessor was not surviving. I now ensure that the bind variable is set by calling the method that populates the bind varaible on activation and use the data from session user data hash table

In case of Add-In installation, these users are automatically created on the ABAP side in client 001. If you want to use another client, you have to create these users with their roles in this other client.
User Role
SAPJSF SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION
J2EE_ADMIN SAP_J2EE_ADMIN
J2EE_GUEST SAP_J2EE_GUEST
User SAPJSF is used for JCo (RFC) communication from Java to ABAP.
User J2EE_ADMIN is the J2EE and Portal Administrator user.
User J2EE_GUEST is used for anonymous logon.
Users with Role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN are automatically mapped to Portal Group Administrators.

Run the transaction UCCHECK with the relevant criteria..
This will give you all the errors for unicode checks...Then you can try to fix them

Activate puaway user-exit for immediate TO

Hello,
We use putaway user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) to determine destination bin with our own logic by tick check-box "user-exit" in destination storage type. When we set "call LT06(create TO based on GR doc)" in WM-MM interface, the T-code LT06 will be called up after we do GR. After that we will do LT06 to create TO and determine the destination bin, at this situation, the user-exit can be activated and work normally to determine the destination bin. But if we set "TO is Immediately created" in MM-WM interface, when we do GR, the user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) can't be activated and TO is generated immediately according SAP standard putaway strategy. We expect the TO can be generated immediately according our own putaway strategy which is determined the by user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) after we do GR.
How can we handle this situation. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
So basically, in the situation of immediate TO creation, the exit is not called. If immediate TO creation is desired, you can also consider automatic TO creation through RLAUTA10 report. You set automatic TO creation in the storage type and plan job RLAUTA10 and schedule to any time interval you wish. The exit might be called in this scenario.

Activate a user status when confirm with Reason for Variance

Dear SAPper,
I have a requirement to set a user status block order for good movement and confirmation
when user confirm the order with reason for variance Z999 (machine broke down)
In the order header, I have attach status profile ZBLOCK contain 2 user status
a. UNR = Unrest ---> initial user status
b. LCK = lock for good movement and confirmation
In the reason for variance Z999 (machine broke) i have attach to status profile ZBLOCK user status LCK
But when i tried confirm worh reason for variance Z999, why the order not updated to LCK for its status?
Did i miss something?

How do I activate a user in my Nook?

I have downloaded a book to ADE. I can open it and transfer it to my NOOK device. However, when I try to read it there, Iget a message that the user is not activated. How do I fix that?

Is the Nook a dedicated eReader or a tablet device?
For a dedicated eReader deivce, which it is plugged into the computer with USB, it should show up as a device in a left hand panel of ADE.
Use menu/help/Authorize Device, and it should then authorize the device with the same ID as the computer.
For a tablet, you will probably need to do the authorization using the application you are running on the device.

In either case, it is important that ADE itself is authorized with an explicit Adobe ID.
You have a choice when you first start ADE of authorizing with such an ID, or running without ID.
If you run without ID lots of horrible things happen, including that you can't read books dowloaded to ADE anywhere else.
If you are in that situation:
remove DRM from the books you have already downloaded using epubee or similar (****)
get yourself a free AdobeID from adobe.com ~ try to log in and it will lead you to a new id screen
authorize ADE with the Adobe ID (menu/help/authoize computer)
authorize the device (as above)
copy the DRM free version of the old books
any new books should work properly
(****) I do NOT suggest the use of DRM stripping in general to break the publisher's rights and avoid the intent of the DRM. However, where the extremely bad implementation of the Adobe ADEPT DRM infrastructure leads to users being cut off from proper use of their books I think its use is completely justified.

You may have hit a combination of device and publisher that does not work properly with ADE2.0. This is quite common, particularly with librry books.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Comcast is my email provider. Until recently, I could go to the Comcast 'start' page, select 'email' and a window would appear that had a blank 'username' and blank 'password' window. From the View menu choose Users & Groups.
Click the lock and authenticate as an administrator account.
Click Login Options....
Click the "Edit..." or "Join..." button at the bottom right.
Click the "Open Directory Utility..." button.
Click the lock in the Directory Utility window.
Enter an administrator account name and password, then click OK.
Choose Enable Root User from the Edit menu.
Enter the root password you wish to use in both the Password and Verify fields, then click OK.

Do you mean you cannot select "Enable Root User" from the "Edit" menu as shown below?
Why do you think you need to enable the root user? I've never needed it in the history of OS X.

CIF user exit works for Integration Model only when we De-Activate

Hi Friends,
I have enhanced the CIF User Exit [EXIT_SAPLMEAP_001] and populated the code in Include ZXCIFU14 for calculating the value of Open Order Quantities[OOQ] with respect to Material, Plant and Contracts, PO's then It transfer the OOQ from R/3 to APO.
Here it is Triggering the User Exit and working fine only when we De-Actrivate and Activate the Integration Model thru CFM3.
But In case of PO changes it is automatically calling the User Exit and Trasfer the OOQ from R/3 to APO.
When we change the Master Data it is not triggering the User Exit Automatically.
Could you someone suggest why we required to De-Activate the User Exit when we run the Integration Model every time.
Please suggest if we need to follow any pre required steps and why this behaviour for User Exit [EXIT_SAPLMEAP_001].

It's only a warning so you can go on.... the system is only advsing you the name of include starting with ZX is reseved for the includes of the function groups for the enhancements: so you're right.

Can anyone tell me what this means? I'm wondering if this enhancement has been replaced by a BADI or something...

Hi Ramesh,
Go to transaction CMOD . Create a project called ZVA01. Choose the Enhancement assign radio button and press the Change button. In the first column enter COZF0001.
Note that an enhancement can only be used in 1 project. If the enhancement is already in use, and error message will be displayed
Click on Save . Go to Components. You can now see that enhancement uses the user exit EXIT_SAPLCOZF_001. Double click on the exit and add your code.
Activate the include program. Go back to CMOD and activate the project.
