De activate iphone to stop imessage

Hi all. Just won a galaxy s3 so giving it a test. Im having a problem with my other half sending messages as she can only send an imessage which the s3 doesnt receive. How do I stop her iphone4 from sending me imessages? Is this because it still thinks I have an iphone? Can I deactivate my old iphone?

What YOU need to do is put your sim card in an iPhone & turn iMessage off, or login to your Apple support profile(if you set one up) and remove the iPhone. There is nothing she can do on her end to stop this other than turning iMessage off on her phone when she messages you.

My iphone wasn't listed in my devices. How do I stop imessage?

I researched how to stop imessage as I wasn't getting eny text responses from my iphone wielding friends. When I went to apple support, my iphone wasn't actually listed as a device there. My phone number was there though so I just deleted that. Is there anywhere else I can (or should, or must) disable imessage in order for apple to stop sending itt through to my old iphone that I no longer have?

Hi I have an iPhone 4S and iMessage or FaceTime will not activate. Even if I switch it off and and switch back on. I get an SMS with the following kind of message. null5245472d524553503f763d333b723d34663866363832353b6e3d2b323534373030303036343 6333b733d30

The numbers are different every time though. I have tried rebooting the iPhone using power and home button. Tried restoring it. Tried erase all content and settings
Tried reset all settings. Tried reset network settings. It was working flawlessly before the update. And also it works with my email address it just doesn't work with my phone number. I cannot understand the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turnFacetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:

deactivate the current phone
Activate an iphone with ur number then sign out of imessage
OR
call apple care nicely and ask that they help with this

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

I'm sorry but your post is a bit vague. If you have a Sprint iPhone 4, it's a CDMA only phone and can only be used on Sprint's service. Likewise, a Verizon iPhone 4, also CDMA only, will only work on Verizon. If you have a Sprint phone and you're having trouble activating it on Sprint, you'll need to call them. If you're trying to activate it on some other network, you can stop wasting your time. If you mean something else, provide some details.

I have a girlfriend in the Ukraine. 6 months ago I sent her an unlocked Iphone 4s and she has enjoyed it immensely. This week it all of the sudden stops working. It says it will only work in the US. Does this have something to do with version 6? Is there anything I can do to get the phone to work again?

the problem is that i am not able to use it in india, it showing me that sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported.Only comaptible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone.

My Iphone 6, just purchased a week ago was lost or stolen a few days ago. As soon as I was able to get to a computer to log onto the cloud to activate lock and set in lost mode, I received the error message:
Find my Iphone has stopped responding. An error has prevented this application from working properly
I continued to attempt the application which told me my device was offline and lost status is pending next connection to being online again. Activation is locked and it still says I am signed in and running the device. The screen had been password locked. Soon after discovering it was gone, I changed my Apple password. I have not cleaned the device yet because I'm afraid my photos may have not been backed up to the cloud and am hopeful it will turn up.
My question is about the error message: why would this happen, and does this message make all other information I see on the cloud inaccurate? (such as the device being offline, me still signed into it, etc).

IPhone 4 stop working with ios 6.1

iPhone 4 stopped working with ios 6.1, visited apple first time, restored phone and worked, less than 24 hours later stopped working again, back to the store, I told iPhone is out of warranty and they'll replace for $150. iPhone worked fine with previous version, no problem at all. Asked to restore to the previous software version, told can't be done. Why should I pay for a damage caused by a software update. Tec claims that ios 6.1 will not work with my phone because it discovered some hardware malfunction, possible the home button. They can't repair. suggested to go to a third party. I'm a satisfied Apple product user for many years. What happened? Any welp out there?

Hey.. I have had this issue since yesterday afternoon.. Some people are saying to keep restoring again and again until it finally goes through.. I have done so like 10 times on my MAC and then I used my husband's PC and tried it 4 times.. No success.. I called apple support, but no help came from there at the end, and the only thing they were able to suggest to me is to sell me a new phone just like mine for a discounted price.. **** NO

That will only make it possibe to go backward.. You will end up back with the IOS 5, but at least you will have a working phone and it will bring back all your contacts and everything else that you ever had backed up on icloud and on your computer. There might be descripencies with the Applications but again this is an issue easily solved, you can always download them back.
Two more things: One, you do not have to download the old version of the itunes, the newest version worked for me without any issues
When choosing to download the older IOS 5.1.1, you will need to figure out whether your carrier is GSM or CDMA but you can easily google this info online..
Well hope that will work for you like it did for me

My iphone 3gs stopped appearing in the sidebar

A week or so ago my iphone 3gs stopped appearing in the itunes (10.7) sidebar when plugged in to my computer. It shows in the itunes fuile menu and when I right click the itunes icon in my task bar. It would still sync from the file menu. Now, itunes has stopped syncing voice memos and because I cannot select sync options without iphone in the sidebar I cannot fix this.
Any help is appreciated.

You could try restoring and staying away from that backup. I've had that happen to me before on my iPhone 4 from a corrupt backup. You could be coincidently mixing the two issues, sounds to me like you got lucky and your phone is A-OK but you may be using a corrupt backup.

i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do.
