De-Registering a blown up computer....

As I appear completely unable to put a question directly to Apple (is it just me...???) does anyone out there know how to de-register a defunct computer... my old one blew up, rather unexpectedly, as they have a habit of doing, so I was unable to de-register it... Any ideas... ?? Or do I need to rebuild it and then try...??

My iTunes store doesn't work on my computer (ive tried to fix it - i think it's a virus on my computer), so what i thought i'd do is register my iPhone through my dads computer, then carry on using the iTunes library from my computer.

IPod locked, no longer registered to any working computer, can't unlock.

My iPod touch has become locked and is showing the "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes" screen, but I can't connect it to iTunes because the computer it was registered to has recently stopped working.
I have a new computer with iTunes on that's authorised under the same account, but all it does when I try to connect it, is say; "You must enter your passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes", which I obviously can't do as when the; "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes" screen is showing, a passcode cannot be entered.
How do I get a chance to type my passcode in, or register my iPod with the same iTunes account on a different computer?

Well, I am not entirely sure what exactly happened but after trying numerous times to reinstall the drivers and getting all sorts of error messages, I finally got Windows 7 to cooperate. The iPod Touch now shows up and is being detected as a digital camera under Devices, and under Computer it is showing up under Portable Devices. If I double-click on it I can view my pictures, transfer them, delete them, etc.

Can't register my CS4 after computer crash

My old computer crashed and I got a new computer. I installed CS4 from the origional discs and it will not let me register. It says I have an invalid serial number. The discs were an upgrade from an older version of Flash when I bought it a couple years ago.

I am sorry I did not give much info in the beginning. I had to dig up dates and product info from an old backup I had made while using my old computer. Thanks for your help with this.
On 2/19/2009 i bought an upgrade from Flash Studio (I don't know the version number) to Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium. I upload the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium on my computer from the discs I received, it found the Flash suite and confirmed the update and the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium all worked.
That computer crashed this winter and I installed Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium on a new computer runnung WIndows 7 Professional using the origional discs. When I tried to register the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium it accepted the serial number from the case with my discs and asked to select a product that you already own:. There is not a Flash Studio listed and when I enter the serial number from the Flash Studio I had saved it did not accept it. I ended up using the option to use it for a trial period. It worked just fine for the trial period on my new computer. That time is now up and I can no longer access any of the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium programs. In need to know how I can get i registered andt working.

I Baught & Registered Apple Care with my Computer November Last Year. Now they say I am not registered and need the receipt. I am in Bolivia and do not have it with me, calling costs 3-5$ per minute! How did you originally register Apple Care, by phone or online? You can double check Apple's Warranty Info website or check with the Bolivia User Group on how to proceed without paying for a phone call.

Registering software on used computer

In October I bought a used Power Mac G5 (model PowerMac 7,2). The operating system is OS X (10.4.7). The hard drive contains Final Cut Pro 4.0 and Final Cut ProHD 4.5. (Both are listed under System Profiler as "Kind: PowerPC." The former was last updated 05/22/03, the latter 09/19/06.) I have attempted to log on to both programs. I get a box requsting I register the programs by providing name, organization, and serial number. I have contacted the former owner to obtain the serial numbers, but he does not have them. He says I should be able to find them in a ReadMe file. I have yet to do so. Is there any way I can register, or re-register, these programs or are they just useless applications taking up space on my computer?

The computer was sold to me with the programs on it. This was one of the selling points in the advertisement for the computer. When I inspected the computer prior to purchase, the programs were opened. The seller said they were licsensed and that I would be able to use them.
So, either the programs usage was misrepresented to me or I have a problem which requires a constructive answer.

I want to deauthorize one computer and account, and register my new ipod onto a DIFFERENT/NEW itunes account. how can I get the ipod off of my old one? Anything misunderstood, please ask me to clearify. thanks.

If you just want to change computers you don't need to de-authorize or remove anything. Just connect the iPod to your new computer and you'll see this message.
Assuming that all your music is in the iTunes library on your new computer, then just click "yes" to that message and that computer now becomes the iPod's new "home"
However, if you mean an iTunes store account, see this.

I am attempting to put Final Cut Express on my new computer and the error states that the serial number is not valid. So I thought I would try to de-register FCE from my old computer however I haven't discovered how to do that. Any ideas?

There is no de-registration. Only deinstallation. The FCE license permits you to install FCE on 1 desktop Mac and 1 laptop Mac provided you own both Macs and only run FCE on one of them at a time.
Two questions -
Is your existing (older) Mac running on the same network as your new Mac where you are trying to install FCE? If so, shut it down while you install FCE on the new Mac.
Are you trying to install FCE on a new Mac that has Lion? FCE is not supported on Lion.

If you transferred your iTunes library from your old computer to your computer's backup per the instructions included with this link, transfer your iTunes library from your computer's backup to your new computer. This will prevent any iTunes content on your iPhone from being erased with the first sync with iTunes on your new computer.

What do I do? I have just re-installed InD on my new computer. Hv bn told I hv used my allocation of two computers and can't keep it on the new one. I am still only using it on two computers. Obviously everyone in the world upgrades from time to time, so what do I have to do to tell Adobe that it is all above board??

If you have Creative cloud membership then Adobe gives you 2 seats to use on one membership so you can use it on 2 computer and there is no need to give any information to Adobe.
If you have perpatual license software (Software with a serial number) then you can install the software on 2 machine. first as you primary machine and second as your back machine, however you can use software on one machine at a time. If you have installed the software on 2 machine and using only on 1 machine then there is no need to give any information to Adobe.
