Deactivate all computers

Hello.
I had big troubles with my computer, so i had to format it 3 or 4 times in the past week. Stupidly I forgot to deactivate my iTunes everytime. I even cant deactivate all of my Computers, since I already did that once last april (so i have to wait for next april to repeat that).
Basicly it means i cant use my itunes match anymore, which i paid for. Is there any solution?

Not that it matters, but why did you choose to authorize the computer between each format?
It may be possible to contact iTunes customer support and explain the situation to them to get an exception to the once a year policy.

  • HT1349 How do I deactivate my account on all computers?

I have gone through two computers and I've had iTunes on all of them.I have certain things, i.e. Digital Copys and such, that I can no longer use. Everytime I try to play them, a comment tells me that I cant have them on more than five computers. (?) How do I deactivate all computers from one computer?

You can deauthorize all computers through your account info in the itunes store and then authorize only the ones you want to use.

    Akeenleyside,
Are you removing your Apple software in an attempt to update to iTunes 10.5?  I ask this because I am getting the same message when trying to install iTunes 10.5.

  • I need to deactivate Messages on my old work computer (in another state). Will deactivating my Apple ID on all computers deactivate this?

I got a notification that my old work computer is still activated with my Apple ID (for iTunes) and phone number (for Messages). Will deactivating all computers connected to my Apple ID also deactivate my account for Messages?

I doubt the license is affecting the performance - it might be a case of the software being too old for the machine.
In any case, you can contact Adobe support thru chat and have them reset your activation count to eliminatre your doubts regarding the license.
For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

  • HT1420 I have used all or almost all of my 5 authorized computers with my iTunes account. Several are for old computers. Is the best thing to do to deactivate all and start over? Is do not have these old computers anymore. Thanks!

I have used all or almost all of my 5 devices under my I'd on iTunes. Several are on old computers no longer in my possession. Should I simply deactivate all devices and start over? I just want to make sure this does not invite unanticipated issues. Thanks,

Yeah, if you're up to five authorisations I'd deauthorise all and then reauthorise the ones you still have access to.

If you log into your iTunes account you should be able to de-authorise all (which you can only do once every 12 months) - you can then re-authorise the computers that you still have/need : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420

About De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
Also, see iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

  • Re-Deactivating All Computers Possible?

I have currently 5/5 systems on one itunes account and ive already done a complete deactivation of all computers this year, unfortunately my computer just completely crashed and died. Im getting a new computer and id like to use itunes with my itunes account so i can listen to all my music, but is there any way to deactivate all the computers again? I mean you can only do it once a year, but could i call apple or something?

As you've already pointed out, you only get the "deauthorise all" option once a year, however you could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and ask them if it can be reinstated or if they can deauthorise the computers from their end. Alternatively if one of your other computers isn't used as much to listen to music you could deauthorise it to free up one of your quota. If you click on any of the links on this page you'll find a space at the bottom to email your query: iTMS Customer Service

  • HT4527 how do I deauthorize or deactivate old computers that I no longer have?

how do I deauthorize or deactivate old computers that I no longer have? When authorizing anew computer, a message appeared that I had 4 of 5 computers activated on my home sharing network. How do I deauthorize/deactivate the computers I no longer have?

If you no longer have the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes,  go to "view your account info" on the itunes store,  deauthorise all five, (Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)  and then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

  • Cannot dauthorize all computers in iTunes nor can i authorize as it states I have more than 5

I recently purchased a new laptop as my old one died. I tried to authorize it to apply updates however it states I have already authorized more than 5 computers.
I read in the help files that you can deactivate all through the store option, however it does not show up for me. In another post i read that it only shows up if you have more than two activated devices.
So I'm stuck. I don't have the option to deauthorize all nor can i authorize becuase it thinks i have more than 5.
Additionally, i have never used the deauthorize feature. since having owning an iTunes account and i do not have access to the other computers as they are all long gone. I've also logged out and back into the account to make sure that wasnt an issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click on iTunes Store (top center of iTunes screen), then Account (under MUSIC LINKS on right of screen).  Enter your Apple ID and password.  On the next screen the last entry under Apple ID Summary should look like this:
If you don't have access to some or all of your authorized computers you can click the Deauthorize All button, then reauthorize those that you're currently using.  I don't recall there being a scenario where Deauthorize All would not appear based on the number of authorized systems.

  • Find All Computers with Adobe Flash 12.0.0.77

I am trying to make a collection with all computers that have Adobe Flash version 12.0.0.77 so that I can do a subselect query but I am getting a syntax error and I don't know why.

    WHERE (SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.DisplayName LIKE '[%Flash%]') and (SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.Version '[12.0.0.77]')
    Can someone please help?

I took the time this weekend to write the query so that it will work for both x86 and x64 software.

  • How do I deauthorize all computers associated with my Apple ID?

    Hi all,
First post on Apple Support Communities :-)
When I bought my first Apple product (iPad 2) a few months ago, I didn't know anything about Apple IDs, iTunes Store, Home Sharing and Computer authorizations. I experimented a little with iTunes and home sharing in VMware virtual machines (Windows 7) on my computer (Ubuntu). I quickly used up the 5 authorized computers, so I used the "Deauthorize all computers associated with your Apple ID" feature in iTunes and kept on experimenting (since I couldn't get things to work properly in my virtual environment).
Now I have an iPhone 4S and my daughter has an iPod Touch 4G, and I'm planning on buying the new Apple TV. But I'm not going to because I can't have Home Sharing. I can't "clean" the authorized computers because I did it a few months ago and it is only permitted once a year.
It is possible to request an exception (and how?) and have the authorized computers cleaned up?
    Thanks a lot
    Sebastien

If you can't deauthorize systems just by the "deauthorize" command under the Store menu in iTunes, then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the problem to the iTunes Store. They may be willing to clear your authorizations for you.
    Regards.

Get all that music back in itunes and sync again.
