Deactivate IDOC, HTTP or XI adapter

Hello people,
I have an issue with sender IDOC, HTTP and XI adapter. We want to deactivate these 3 type of sender communication channels. But these adapters run on the ABAP stack and we cant see them in CC monitoring.
Is there a simple way to deactivate these adapters? or we have to delete them to be certain they are deactivated?
Kind regards,
Kamran

Hey
>>We want to deactivate these 3 type of sender communication channels
you don't configure sender CC for the above types of adapters so there is no question of stopping them,a better approac will be to stop the respective sender application which send data to the IE of XI.
stop/modify the change pointers for IDOC,sender application for HTTP and Proxy for XI adapter.
Thanx

  • HTTP and RFC Adapter are not Required Sender

    Hi All,
    I have one dought....
    Why Plain HTTP and RFC Adapter are not Required Sender Communication Channel and Sender Agreements...
    I Know this two Adapter are in ABAP Stack....
    Please clarify my dought...
    Regards

    Idoc Adapters do NOT require Sender Communication Channel.
    The Sender System identifies itself at the Integration Server, with the fields SNDPOR and Client of the Control Record.
    Sender Communication channels are used for communication betweeen the Application System and the Integration Server.
    In the case of Idocs, all idocs are tranferred to the Integration Server pipeline and NOT to the regular EDI/IDOC interface.
    The RECEVIER DETERMINATION is based on the values in the Control Record.
    If you are doing ALE, then you have to maintain the idoc types which are NOT to be transferred to the Integration server by executing report IDX_SELECT_IDOCTYP_WITHOUT_IS.
    By maintaining the Idoc Types using this report, only these idoc types are sent to the regular EDI/IDOC interface.

  • Test Http(s) sender adapter

    Hi,
    I already done all the configuration for ssl and also create a http(s) sender adapter to retrieve data using rfc. May i know normally how you test the https sender?
    Thanks.

    The html code in this link works perfectly to send a http request.
    Just replace the userID & password in the html code with yours and try it.
    Another simplpe method : just send your message via Runtime Workbench, there is a test tool to send messages directly to Integration Engine (the http adapter is doing the same).

  • Using HTTPS with HTTPIWA2 Adapter or HTTP Adapter

    The manual says that HTTPS protocol is supported, but I can't seem to find any more information than that. Has anyone set up their HTTP or HTTPIWA2 Adapter/Agent to have secure HTTPS traffic? Did you have to configure the sslconfig.properties on the application server? Any info would be appreciated. We got the unsecure web service calls working, but may have to change to HTTPS.

    A SSL certificate from the application you are connecting to is required. That SSL certificate needs to be loaded into the ServiceLink JVM keystore file using the Java provided 'keytool' utility. Once the right type of SSL certificate (sometimes you need a signed root certificate) has been registered using keytool and ServiceLink restarted, the HTTPS connection should be established.

    Thanks! I have a couple of more questions...
    1) Do you have to do anything with the sslconfig.properties in the D:\newScale2008.3\jboss-4.2.3.GA\server\ServiceLink\deploy\ISEE.war\WEB-INF\classes directory or does the "keytool" utility take care of that?

  • Idoc & Http adapter

    Why do Idoc and Hppt adapters don't have sender agreement

    hi,
    The idoc and http adapters are present on the integration engine rather  than on adapter engine,like all other adapters
    Thats why sender agreement is not required.
    And in many scenarios you dont need a http adapter at the sender side.
    reward points if helpful

  • Polling with HTTPS (SOAP sender adapter)

    Hi,
    we are using SAP PI 7.1 EHP 1 and we have to set up a scenario, in which a business partner is going to send us IDocs over HTTPS.
    Now our security team has objections, that incoming messages could be too risky. So we have to figure out if it's also possible, to set up a polling over HTTPS. Unfortunately there's no availability to insert an URL in the SOAP sender adapter, so I think it's NOT possible.
    Any other ideas or agreements?
    Thanks in advance,
    Juergen

    I think SOAP sender adapter supports HTTPS (w/ and w/o client certificate) ... But you'll need to complete the security setup (root CA, etc) before, and then give the "to-be-called" URL to yout partner.

  • IDOC as a receiver adapter in XI to 3rd party scenario

    Hi All,
       I have an requirement to connect sap xi and 3rd party. the scenario as given below:
    sap ecc 6.0  --> sap xi --> 3rd party
    Here ecc is sending an idoc to the 3rd party. The 3rd party is SAP certified and intelligent enough to receive and send idocs. Here I'm using a idoc adapter as a receiver adapter. In the receiver adapter I have to give a rfc destination and a port name.
    My question is how to create a rfc destination for the 3rd party. and which port name we'll use in this case. Is the port name will be the 3rd party port name is yes then how I can create a port in the 3rd party system.
    Please help.
    Regards,
       Santosh

    A communication channel with a receiver IDoc adapter can be created automatically for business systems that are defined in the System Landscape Directory. refer this link
    [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/d1a4d665c5574fa6e19784358ec948/frameset.htm]
    You need to configure the receiver IDoc adapter to convert Integration Server contents from IDoc-XML to native IDoc format and to forward the IDocs to an SAP system .
    you create a port and the rfc destination pointing to receiver in PI system
    use tcode sm59 for creating rfc destination and IDX1 to create port and map it to  rfc destination.

  • Separate IDOC-Types by mail adapter

    hello together,
    i have the following problem.
    a customer sends an order by mail to us. over mail adapter this message goes to the SAP system. the mail-subject contains description where we can separate the single message. this single messages are all from the same idoctype we have defined in the mail adapter:
    shippd, order, stock .... => SPCORD-idoctype
    and now the problem. the customer want / have to so send an invoiceack (an other idoctype- SPCINV)!!
    summary: we have TWO idoctypes but only ONE possibility to   specify the idoctype in the mailadapter, haven't we?
    we just one mailbox where all messages from the customer come into.
    what can we do? is there another solution / possibility to solve the problem?
    thanks a lot

    Hi,
    My connection is working now when I downloaded the xsd and executed in the mapping as described in the blog.
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/07/mail-adapter-xi--how-to-implement-dynamic-mail-address
    Connection is working fine now, but im getting the below payload.
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns1:Mail xmlns:ns1="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30">
      <Subject>TESTING</Subject>
      <From>deepthi at testing.com</From>
      <To>deepthi at testing.com</To>
      <Content>Testing purpose</Content>
      </ns1:Mail>
    The question is how to get my actual message which looks like below. this is the Idoc to file map and the resultant output file looks like below
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:order xmlns:ns0="http://testing/xi/OrderProcessing">
         <document_type>ZU</document_type>
         <vendor_number>200000</vendor_number>

         <vendor_address_line_4>US</vendor_address_line_4>
         <delivery_address_line_1>1433</delivery_address_line_1>
         <delivery_address_line_2>test</delivery_address_line_2>
    </ns0:order>
    How to send this file as email attachment using mail adapter. Do I need to use 2 maps?
    looks like Mail adapter is working only when we use the xsd which is given above and by providing the required details.
    Kindly help me if anyone worked on mail adapters.
    Thanks

    Check this thread for your query
    Adapters
    IDOC adapter resides on Integration server, so Integration engine takes care of the conversion format from IDOC to XML
    but in but XML to IDOC is done by Receiver IDOC adapter

    hi all,
    In case of IDOC adapter on sender side we don't need the CC but at the receiver side we need CC why....
    (i know that idoc adapter is based on integration engine....so no need of sender CC...Apart this any logical answers......then post.....)
    the same as above in case of HTTP adapter.....
    give me the solution technically.....

    Hello Brad,
    The IDoc adapter is part of the Integration Server. Essentially, the IDoc adapter comprises two parts, namely an adapter at the Integration Server inbound channel, and an adapter at the Integration Server outbound channel. The metadata for the IDoc types involved is shared.
    The adapter at the inbound channel is located before the Integration Server pipeline and calls this pipeline. The adapter at the outbound channel, however, is called by the pipeline, and can therefore be regarded as part of the pipeline.

  • SAP PI Party setup IDoc - HTTP: no receiver agreement found

    Hi,
    We have setup SAP IDoc -> SAP PI --> HTTP with 2 parties, as described in the the 'HOW..TO Sample IDoc - XI scenario's' case 7:
    For the clarity of the example, the sender at our side is 'AAA', and the receiver side is 'BBB'.
    1. Sender Party

    XIParty -
    PA_AAA
    BS_BBB    -

    XIParty -
    PA_BBB
    AD2_200 (SAP system) -
    ALE#KU -
    DE217560
    The other components in XI are as follows:
    3. Business component: PA_BBB | BS_BBB (party and Business System)
    4. Receiver determination: sender AD2_200, receiver party: PA_BBB, receiver component: BS_BBB
    5. Receiver agreement: sender AD2_200, receiver party: PA_BBB, receiver component: BS_BBB
        Header mapping: sender comm party: PA_AAA, receiver comm party: PA_BBB
    6. Communication channel (HTTP):  CC_HTTP_RCV_BBB
        Identifiers: sender agency: BS_BBB ALE#LI, receiver agency: BS_BBB ALE#KU
    When we send an IDoc with SNDPRN=AD2_200, RCVPRN=DE217560, RCVPRT=KU, SAPXI doesn't seem to find receiver determination, iinterface determination and receiver agreement
