Deactivate inspection type 08 against mvt type 413

Dear Sir
Whenever planning person does 413 oe 413E movement for sales order transfer there is an error message combination of stock error and when i deactivate 08 from material master, they are able to do it.My concern why the error is shown nor inspection lot is genreated and how to deactivate against this movement.

You don't want inspection for 413 and 413 E then you need to active tick mark for both.
Also in Movement Type/Update Control/Inspection Lot Origin select movement type 413 check 08 insp orgin is there? from material master deactive 08 insp type. then system will not generate lot.
Please try this and come back.

351 movement - Transfer posting to stock in transit from unrestricted-use, so PO is mandetory to track the intransit stock , you can very much do 351 movement from one plant to another plant agaisnt STO PO, in which stock will be shown as in transit from supplying plant to receiving plant against PO , you can see the stock in transit thru MB5T. Accounting Entries are generated with 351 Movement Type ,
Stock outward movemnt A/c Cr - Supplying Plant
Stock inwrd movement A/c Dr - receiving Plant
Now, to get the stock in Inventory in receiving plant, against the same STO PO, you have to make GR (MIGO), here no accounting entries are generated.

Inspection lot for Mvt type 311 between two storage location only

Hello all,
I want to create an inspection lot only whenever my material transfer between two particulars storage locations. e.g if i have multiple storage locations, then i need an inspection lot to be created whenever my material transferred from say X S.Loc to Y S.loc only. For other transfers i don't need to create an inspection lot even from Y to X.
For more clarity, suppose i have ten storage locations. i have also created one storage location for my Lab. So I want an inspection lot to be created only when my material transfer to my Lab storage location from any other storage location, not when i transfer from my LAB to any other S.Loc or between two S.Loc other than LAB.
I have activated inspection type 08 but it does not have a restricition on S.Loc.
So please suggest some solution for the same.

In this case what you can do is make a copy of 311 movement type, say Z11. Deactivate QM for 311 and activate QM for Z11
So whenever you want inspection lot to be created use Z11.
You can activate and deactivate QM in QCCO > Quality inspection > Inspection lot creation > inspection for goods movement

How to disable 'Stock type' field in MIGO depending doc. type or mvt. type

Does anybody knows how to deactivate (just display but not modify) field 'Stock field' in MIGO transaction if we just want to do that for an specific document type (UB)? If it's not possible, does anybody know how to do that but by movement type (351/101)?
Now stock type can be changed from unrestricted (set by default) to blocked or under quarantine when we post GI or GR related to a STO (351/101) and we want to avoid users changing this field.

USE t Code OMJX, and set the Stock type to DISPLAY ONLY, but that'd be for all Mov.t types. The PO document type would not matter here!! You could use a USER EXIT upon SAVE to revert to what ever you need irrespective of user changes other wise.. Thats an option!! Talk to your ABAP' er

Control delivery type for mvt type 313

Regarding SLOC to SLOC transfer postings, I have a couple of questions:
Using movement type 313 (unr. use stock SLOC to SLOC) in our SAP system automatically creates a delivery in the background. Where can I configure what delivery type I would like to use for this purpose? Also, is there any settings I can do for ATP checks for this? I believe this is standard SAP functionality so a IMG menu path would be very much appreciated.

What we would like to do is to achieve a scenario where we move stock that is in QI and Blocked stock, in a similar way as with movement type 313. I am not even sure that is possible to do with a delivery? We use the deliery generated from movement type 313 to send with IDOC to one of our 3PL warehouses, managed by another company.
When I look at it, I can find movement type 325 to move Blocked stock from one SLOC to another, but is it possible to do with a delivery (generated in the background)?

Report based upon material type against movement type for a period ?

i need a inventory report which should be based upon materil type & movement type for a particular period.
For example- for last monthe how much Raw material has been issued againast production order. i would like report to allow me ROH and movement type 261/262 and period entry. MB5B does not satisfy my requirements, ist of all there si no material type/secondly it restricts itself if i use movement types

Hi,
You can create a small program to get report.
Input fields Date of posting BUDAT, Movement type BWART (Plant if required).
Check field BUDAT (Posting Date. Should check based on input date field.) In table MKPF.
If data falls in required date range. Pick MBLNR-MKPF (Mat doc number).
Go to table MSEG compare MBLNR-MKPF and MBLNR-MSEG if same pick field MATNR-MSEG (Mat number).
Go to MARA check MTART-MARA for picked MATNR-MARA (in previous step). Take the material type.
Add the below fields to out put
MATNR, MTART, BWART-MSEG (Movt type), ERFMG-MSEG (quantity posted), WERKS-MSEG (Plant received), LOGRT-MSEG (S. Loc received).
Please take advise from ABAPer regarding prog logic

Inspection Lot not creating for 657 mvt type

Hello,
I am unable to create inspection lot for customer returns. Mvt type used by SD module for customer return is 657 ( to blocked stock). While sales to return order with this mvt type, no inspection lot is getting generated.
But when returns are done with 651 mvt type (Returns to QI), I am able to create inspection lots.
Can anyone tell me how to activate inspection for 657 mvt type as I want this stock to go directly to Blocked stock.

Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
Tcode vov6 - there will be schedule line category DN.
go to details of DN.In Business data,check which movement type is assigned here change it to 655 and try.
Also go to material master, select "Quality Management" view and execute. There click on "Insp.setup" and press "F5". Assign "06" under tbe tab "Inse.Type" and save.
Now if that material returns from any customer, the stock will be blocked for quallity clearance. Only quality people can give clearance for that material.

when i m running mb5b and enter mvt type then mvt type is being reset, and i went for system message then it is coming like "Message no. M7298"

Hi,
You must have selected "valuated stock" under stock type. When you do this, the program will reset all movement types you have entered.
Select "Storage loc./batch stock"

There are no other settings required for this one.Go through these once again..
1. Ensure Material master is assigned inspection type 01--Active in QM View
2. Do MIGO with 103 Mvmt.
3. Setting Rqd: SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspection for Goods Movements->Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type->Remove tick QM not active for all 103 Mvmt Types.
Similarly Deactivate for 105 Mvmt type.
4. Presetting (non-editable) - SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspection for Goods Movements->Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type->Movement Type/Update Control/Inspection Lot Origin->View Insp. lot origin assigned to Mvmt type by double clicking on the 103 Mvmt types.

Is it possible to create double grn (material document) against a 103 mvt type (gr blocked stock) . how to restrict it in system.

Actually we have gate entry system (103 mvt ) during migo and make 105 mvt against the 103 material doc.
and also have restriction to make double entry against the same material doc (103).
In po the amount is let 100 qty , but how po allow to make 200 qty.
Kindly point out What is the cause for it and how to restrict it.
The above showing the Line item no 1500 Double GRN is made against 103 mvt type bypass error msg. and po qty.

warning , i also tested in quality client it's ok.

Then go for the Fourth tab "Mass Processing"
Activate the check box for Activate Despite Inspection Stock and Create Change Documents
Then insert the inspection type.
Execute
System will prompt a screen similar to Inspection set up from MM02, there deactivate the inspection type and press Enter.
Select the Line item and Save.

Description of Movement Types
Below you will find a short description of the standard movement types. The reversal movement type is the movement type + 1 (reversal of 101 = 102).
101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.
Possible special stock indicators:
     K Goods receipt for purchase order to consignment stock
     O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
     E GR for purchase order or order to sales order stock

You can use this movement type to carry out a transfer posting from your own unrestricted-use stock, other sales order stock, consignment stock, and project stock to a sales order stock.

Mvt type 103 and 105

Dear all,
I am doing GRN through 103 mvt type of 100 Qty. But at the time of 105 Mvt type qty found 90 that means 10 Qty still pending in block stock. How to process with 10 Qty in block stock which is due to vendor mistake. Please suggest exact procedure and accounting effect on the same.

While posting the document against the movement type 103, no FI documents get generated becasue there is no valuation for the materials at the blocked storage Location. The FI document is generated with the movement type 101 and 105.
In this case, you can cancel the material document number created by the movement type 103 by 104. Then again you will have to do the GRN in 103. The quantities in the material document number created by 103 movement type can't be modified.
Secondly, if you have the final GRN against the 103 document, then you will have to return the stock by movement type 122.

Report to check the stock transfer through 303 mvt type

Hi,
I understand that the stock transfer can be done through two ways
1. Using 351 against UB PO and go MIGO using 101 --> Can be checked in the report MB5T, for stock in transit
2. Using 303 and 305 mvt type --> the stock lies in Stock trans(Plant)
When we do 303 mvt type, is there any standard report to check the stock in stock trans (Plant) ? Please let us know.

for this you can use MB51 only. same report you can give the movement types as 313 & 315.

Auomatic TO creation and confirmation from PCN with 321 MVT type

Dear Friends,
I am facing following WM issue, Kindly go through it and reply me with your valuable solution.
In my plant QM is active, so while receiving goods against any Purchase Order (MVT TYPE 101), all my stock goes to quality. After UD check, 99% material move to unrestrictd stock (321 mvt.type) and 1% used for quality (331 mvt. type).
For an example if I have received 1000 kg material (which initially goes to quality), after UD 995 kg material come to unrestricted stock and 5 kg used for quality check.
In my existing system for material document with mvt. type 321, one PCN is generated in the background, and using LT05 we make TO from PCN and confirm it.
But is it posible to create the TO and confirm from the PCN (Mvt. 321) in the backgroung itself, i mean to say that while my QM user is doing UD, material document with mvt 321, one PCN and TO will be generated and TO will be confirmd in the background itself.
I don't want to use LT05 separetely to make TO from PCN.
Please reply me soon.

You need to make the config settings here in ur system.
SPRO > Logistics execution > WM > Interfaces > Inventory Management > Activate Automatic TO Creation
Assign the relevent setting to movement types...
