Deactivate Photoshop CC issue

trying to deactivate photoshop cc on my laptop. when I try to sign out I get "Sign Out Fail" "Deactivation Not Successful. Please Try Again"
. Tried multiple times but always get the same message. Please help.

You can also sign out from your account via the CC Desktop app.  Gear icon > Preferences > General > Account > Sign out from Creative Cloud. It will deactivate all your apps...but it's workaround if you can't do it from Photoshop.
These instructions are platform-agnostic...that is they will work the same on a Mac or PC.

  • How do I deactivate Photoshop on old laptop?

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 11 onto my old laptop some months ago but never actually got any further than that and have never used it. I now have a new laptop and I do want to use Photoshop on that but is there some action I need to do on the old laptop first ie deactivate Photoshop? I clicked on the Help button but there was nothing that answered my question. Can I just download the disc onto my new laptop and then start the installation process? Any help appreciated.

Adobe allows you to use the purchased serial number on no more than 2 of your computers but not use the two at the same time.
If you ever get into a situation where you cannot install that purchased serial number on a 3rd computer AND cannot deactivate one of the copies of either of the other 2 computers, Adobe can assist you in that matter even if this purchase serial number is not from the current version of Premiere Elements.
In such a case, you can click on the following link and, when it opens, click on the statement "Still Need Help. Contact us." to bring up the Adobe Chat for the corrective action involving topic "Serial number issues or activating my product."
    http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?product=premiere-elements&topic=serial-number-issues-o r-activating-my-product
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thank you.

  • Problem with deactivate Photoshop CS Mac OS

    Hello,
less than a month ago I bought in one of Warsaw's computer stores a perpetual license for the product ESD Photoshop CS6 for Mac OS. After receiving the serial program installed on your computer, but do not login using Adobe ID. When you turn the program immediately proceeded to update Photoshop, but as it turned out not married to upgrade to the latest version that supports Retina MacBook screens. Then I uninstalled the program without first deactivating it. After re-installing and updating (no login again to Adobe ID) situation repeated itself and the second time I decided to uninstall the program (from what I remember, then also do not deactivate Photoshop - unfortunately, I was not aware of the need to do this step). During the third installation I logged Adobe ID and then married to upgrade to the latest version that supports Retina screens. But unfortunately, I received a message about exceeding the limit of activations for my product key. Seller informed me that he turned to Adobe with this information, but by the end I do not know whether he had also request deactivation of the system.
Unfortunately, I had no knowledge of the need for deactivation. Currently in the Help window box deactivation is not "highlighted", is only grayed out and not active.
I ask for help and information, and what steps I need to make a program to be fully functional and error limit is exceeded, the display has stopped, and that the deactivation option is available and active.
    Yours sincerely,
    Artur Sochacki

    Willard,
Are you the user eternity? If not, please start a new topic thread here:

And you won't confuse the user eternity with solutions that don't apply to them.
If you are eternity, I'm sorry you haven't received any replies since February, but perhaps I'd better redirect your post to the Boot Camp forum, where people have dealt with booting issues with Boot Camp are better equiped to answer. Let us know, and I can ask a moderator to move your thread.

  • Images appear fine in Photoshop cs6 and cc, but print too dark, and also show too dark in Windows picture viewer. How can I correct this? Is this a Photoshop setting issue or what?

Ok, look at your files in Photoshop. What is the profile assigned to them? You can find this out by going to the Status bar at the bottom, clicking on the right-pointing triangle and choosing document Profile from the list.
Then in Windows, go to your Control Panel > Color Management and add sRGB (if it isn't there) and select it as your default profile.
    I hope that will work.

It will be best if you sign out before changing the system so that when you reinstall there is not any conflict with existing records.

  • Bridge/Photoshop Colour Issues

    Bridge/ Photoshop Colour Issues:
It appears that there are a few pictures that are noticeably dull, when I load them in Bridge and Photoshop.   Those same pictures are very vibrant when I look at them directly from the SD card or load them into Picassa.  I tried editing the picture, saving it in Photoshop, then opening it up in Picassa and it has the same dullness.  Since having this issue, I have updated the drivers on my Quadro graphics card, but I think it may be something to do with the way that I set up Adobe Bridge, because this is the first time I have imported a large batch of photos from Bridge.  However, I pretty much left everything as the standard settings in Bridge.  Any suggestions?
FYI - I just started using the Adobe Master Collection, with Win 7 Pro 64 and Huey Pro embedded on my laptop. My colour settings are Huey Pro on my laptop, SRGB in Photoshop and General Purpose for Bridge (I haven’t had this issue before and Huey Pro has been my colour settings on my laptop since I got Adobe).

However, when I switch the Colour Settings>Working Spaces>RGB to "Monitor RGB - Huey Pro" the problem is fixed.
That turns off color management in Photoshop, so yes, that would match other applications that aren't color managed at all. You're not fixing the problem, you're just hiding the symptom.
If you're certain the Photoshop version is wrong, that means your monitor profile is corrupt. A corrupt monitor profile only affects color managed software like Photoshop. Other applications don't use the monitor profile and never touch it.
If it's merely the fact that Photoshop is different, that's normal and all as it should be. With a valid monitor profile Photoshop is right and the others wrong.

  • 10.7.4 huge photoshop performance issues

I've had variants of three different versions of Photoshop installed - CS4, 5 and now 6. I'm not 100% sure when the issue
started occurring, but I've done a lot of experimentation to analyze it.
    The components involved are
    1.Photoshop
    2.Wacom Intuos 3
    3.Lion 10.7.4
Whenever I'm digital painting, which I'm doing professionally, all the time, the colour picking mechanism is not only slow, but doesn't work about 2/3 of the
time. The next stroke made *after* the colour picking never works either. I do this about ONCE EVERY TWO SECONDS. So it's like being punched
in the face all day long while you're trying to get some work done.
Most likely, support staff will attempt to get rid of me saying 'ask wacom' or 'ask adobe.' BUT, here's the process I've gone through.
1.Tried all three variants of photoshop. They all have issues.
2.Switched to a different Wacom tablet (identical model), switched three different wacom pens, all identical models. Note that I also
tested all of these on a Windows machine with the same Photoshop issue, and they all work. And I also tested them all, and photoshop,
on my old intel powerbook running the same version of Photoshop, and it's fine. That Mac is running Leopard.
3.I erased my HD, reinstalled Lion (10.7.4 obviously) and installed Photoshop and the Wacom drivers on top of it again. Just one version,
nothing else to mess with it. Aaaaand, exactly the same issue.
This has made my Mac unusable and frankly, is having a massive financial impact on me . If anyone can think of anything I've left out, please
give it a shot. My instinct is that this has narrowed it down to the operating system, and that it's most likely something to do with the GPU. Or the USB bus. Or the application support libraries - but specific to this hardware as, like i say, I've tried another mac with leopard and all is fine.
    HEEEEELP!

I am having serious Photoshop performance issues as well.
My Photoshop CS5 was running well until I upgraded to Mac OS 10.7.4. My observations are highly un-scientific, but I am noticing the worst performance in Photoshop when I have my Firefox browser open. It's like the 2 programs are fighting with each other. I am also noticing Flash crash reports on Firefox when Photoshop is open.
Even with Firefox closed, however, Photoshop CS5 is sluggish and slow with 10.7.4. Even the dreaded beachball coming back into my life.
I have even erased my hardrive and reinstalled the OS and that did not help.
Other programs are running fine. Even Firefox runs well when photoshop is not running.

  • I had to deactivate PhotoShop for service on my computer.  How do I reactivate it?

I had to deactivate PhotoShop for service on my computer.  How do I reactivate it?

My answer assumed he would start up Photoshop, get a screen to license the software, and would follow the prompts instead of posting a question and waiting for a response.
My experience in deactivating the serial number type is that you are not asked to re-enter your serial number unless you checked the box removing the serial number. It starts up normally. The Help menu would let you know you have to activate it if you didn't get a prompt to do that on start up.
I'm sure I answered the question directly given my experience.

  • How can I deactivate Photoshop CS2 on an old Mac?

I tried to deactivate Photoshop CS2 on my old Mac by using the "Transfer Activation" command on the Help menu. (There is no "Deactivate" command.) Photoshop never recognizes that I do have a connection to the Internet, so I cannot proceed. Is there a way to Deactivate on this computer?

    Forget about it.
The CS2 activation server was shut down by Adobe a couple of years ago. So you're trying to communicate with a server which no longer exists.
Error: "Activation Server Unavailable" | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
If you're planning to re-install CS2 on a new Mac, that won't work since CS2 is a PowerPC application which will not install or run on modern Intel-based Macs running newer versions of OS X.

  • How to deactivate Photoshop CS4 as the default browser for image

I wanted to deactivate Photoshop CS4 as the default browser for image. Now everytime when i want to open BMP(bitmap) file it always use photoshop CS4 to open the file. It takes a longer time to load the bitmap picture when using photoshop CS4 to open.
    Can anybody help!
    thank you

Mylenium is implying just that.  There's a checkbox that reads something like [ ] Always Use This Program to Open This File Type.
I do know that in Photoshop CS5 in Bridge there's a preference dialog that allows you to set file associations as well...  I'm not where I can test CS4 at the moment.  There may be such a dialog also in Bridge CS4.  Open Bridge, choose Edit - Preferences - File Associations if that subcategory exists, then find your file type and change the association.
Yet a third possibility is that if you have a viewer program like IrfanView that you'd like to associate with the file type, then the viewer program likely offers a menu through which you can indicate you want that program assocated with particular file type(s).  I have instructed IrfanView to make itself the viewer for all Image types, and that works well.
