Deactivate replication of contact persons from R/3 to CRM

Hi,
i'm replicating customer relationships from ECC6 to CRM2007. All fine, including z-partner functions etc.
One thing Im baffled by however is the replication of contact persons. Contact persons will be created in CRM only, without any integration/replication with ECC6. Since there are existing contact persons in the ECC6 master, I want to deactivate that replication.
So I hae deleted the mapping for master data transfer in CRM in the IMG under Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from SAP ECC into CRM
and Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC.
But if I create a contact person in ECC6, it STILL replicates through to CRM!! Any ideas how to de-activate that replication? I don't want to end up with failed BDOCs in the middleware if posible.
regards
Jens

Hi Srikanth,
thanks a lot for your reply. However the approach needs to be a bit more sophisitcated than that. I do replicate through a number of r?3 partner functions into relationships in CRM, e.g. ship-to and 3 z-functions (promary CSR etc.). That all works fine and needs to stay that way.
However I do need to deactivate the replication of the R/3 contact persons to CRM.

    How we can realize this?

    Hello,
I have changed both objects (BUPA_MAIN / BUPA_REL) to Simple intelligent (msg). But in BUPA_REL you can only filter on BPARTNER.
In the scenario we need BUPA_REL for the replication of Employee responsible.

  • How to restrict/block replication of contact person? SAP CRM 7.0 ehp 2

    Hello fellow crm consultants,
I am looking for a (hopefully) standard solution to restrict the replication of contact persons (CP) from crm to ecc back and forth while they are related/linked to a customer.
In this current scenario we create a new customer on the CRM side and immediately link new or existing contact persons to this customer before saving the new entity. Upon save the data is being replicated and creates the same in ECC. However there is not CP replication been setup between CRM/ECC meaning that normally no contact person information is being replicated or synced between these systems. But only when the customer is being replicated including contact person(s) this is information coming through anyways. I want to completely block the CP information and only replicate the customer information.
Is above possible in SAP CRM 7.0 ehp 2 and how through customization?
Thanks in advance.. points will be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Rogier

    Hi,
If you want to replicate only customers from CRM to ECC, you can set a filter in the subscription on IS_CUSTOMER = "X" for example. That will stop replication of contact persons, organization units, employees, etc.
See following oss note: 1834681 - How to set filter for BP upload from CRM to ECC
But for something more complex, you might need to implement a function module and add it to table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU. Kindly check following oss note for an example:
638628 - No contact person upload into R/3: Example for exit users

  • How to get list of FMs while creating Contact Person from User Admin Link

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing SAP ECommerce for my SAP ERP. In one of our requirements, we need to develop MASS UPLOAD program which will take input as Contact Person's first name, last name, address and authorization details and create new Contact Person as it is done through User admin link.
To develop above tool, I want to trace all the Function Modules which are called while creating new Contact Person from User admin link.
Please provide your inputs on how I can get the trace of FMs.
    Thanks,
    Keya

    Hi Keya,
For a B2C eCommerce solution, you are looking at FMs BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1 and ISA_USER_CREATE and the table USAPPLREF which holds the reference to the customer and user.
To get the FMs called, you would have to do a session trace during B2C user registration / B2B user creation from UME. You could search this forum on a 'how-to' for doing a session trace or lookup the development and extension guide that provides a lot of useful information.
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Target group with Contact Person from Organisation

    Dear experts,
we are currently on CRM 7.0 SP06.
In segment Builder (GUI) there is an option in context menu for target group which allows us to create a new target group with all the contact persons from an existing target group with organisations.
I know that we have to use the WEB UI. But there I could not find this functionality.
Although we can achieve the same building up our own infoset, I would like to know if this functionaltiy is actually missing, or not supported anymore.
    Kind regards
    Hannes

    H isubash,
thanks for your answer. I know that this funciotnality is not available in WEB UI, although it is provided in conetxt menu in GUI.
Does anyone know if SAP simply not provided this functionality in current releases?
    Kind regards

  • Contact persons in R/3 and CRM

    Hi,
Contact persons in R/3 and CRM use different sets of number ranges. So in order to find correct R/3 contact person for same contact person in CRM, we need to find the correlation in between both,
Can any one can suggest the exact table that links partner numbers of contact person in CRM and R/3.
    thanks
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,
    R/3 table CRMPARNR
Field CONTACT_NO is the number of the contact person in R/3 (table KNVK),
ORG_GUID guid of the org in CRM,
PERSON_GUID guid of the CP in CRM

  • How to restrict contact person from ECC to CRM

    Dear All,
We need customers to flow from ECC to CRM, but not Contact persons.
Seems that the 2 adapters CUSTOMER_MAIN & CUSTOMER_REL have to have the same filter settings.
    How do we achieve this?
    Please help!!
    Best regards,

    Hi Rohit,
In CRM table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU you can add any function module you need to filter data as per your requirement... Have a look to this OSS note that will show you the trick:

  • Segmentation of Contact Persons from specific BP Organizations

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following requirement.
I want to select all the Contact Persons of all the Business Partner Organizations in a Country, say US in Segment Builder.
Is there any Standard Info set which will help me achieve this.
    Regards,
    Arun

    Hi,
For segmenting organizations, say based on marketing attributes as data source, CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP function module assignment in datasource would do the work.
I have copied following from SAP help -
    Segmentation Based on Relationships
Segmentation based on relationships offers you maximum flexibility when modeling target groups, especially in business-to-business scenarios. You can now select business partners using filters for both personal data as well as data relating to the business partner's organization. All required information on the business partner, such as contact person, organization, and relationship type is saved with the target group. In the campaign, the contact person is contacted using the address data of the contact person's organization.
You can also use segmentation based on relationships in the business-to-consumer environment. For example, you could segment according to the relationship between father and son to find all fathers with sons in a particular age group.
    Prerequisites
You have defined data sources that are capable of providing the business partner relationship information. In the case of InfoSets, this means that the InfoSet itself contains all the fields required to provide the partner function information.
A conversion function is needed for the data sources Business Intelligence Cube and Attribute Set. This function uses a function module to deliver the required information (for example, contact person for an organization). Each relationship type requires its own function module. The following function modules are delivered as examples:
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP_BW
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_FIND_CPS
    Features
You can use segmentation bases when performing segmentation with relationships. When creating the profile set, you must decide whether the segmentation basis should be used to select business partners or their relationship partners.
During segmentation, you can display the distribution for both target group members as well as for the business partners linked by the respective relationship (for example, Is Contact Person For).
The relationship information from the target group can be exported and used in the follow-up processing.
It is also possible to perform deduplication for target groups with relationships. For more information, see Deduplication of Marketing Segments.
    Example
As part of your campaign, you want to contact all business partners who are younger than 30 years old, have the hobby "Golf", and work in a company with more than 1000 employees. The corresponding marketing mail should be sent to the business partner's company address rather than the private address.
Another example would be a campaign where you want to contact all male business partners from the region "South" and who have more than one child, one of whom is under one year old. During the campaign execution, the campaign letter should be sent to the business partner's private address and should contain the name of the child who is younger than one year old.

  • Replication of Contact person

    Hello All ,
In BP relationship screen there is a field "Standard relationship".The data stored in BUT050-XDFREL. If I change this field a Bdoc is generated.I can see a value in Central data - main - data - Default relationship ="X"
What field will be updated in R/3  by this BDOC? I am looking for "Standard relationship" field in R/3 contact person.
    Thank you very much,
    Rika

    Hi Rika,
The field XDFREL in the table BUT050 is for the relationships of the
Category 'contact person is of' used in order to display that a contact
person is the 'main contact person' of a business partner.
The SAP R/3 flag KNVP-DEFPA corresponds with field IS_DEFLT_PARTNER
which is found in table CRMM_BUT_FRG0081.
The standard flag doesn't exist in R/3.
Of course you can use User exit DE_EIOUT (see note  0620399) and any field in R/3 to have a corresponding mapping. For an upload of this flag you needs User Exit DE_BALE.

  • Customer fields replication in Sales order from R/3 to CRM

    Hi all,
I want to replicate, for Sales orders, one field (ZFIELD_A) on item level (VBAP) from R/3 to CRM .
I used transaction EEWB on CRM with the option "Adding new fields to Business transactions" and I flagged checkbox "Also used in R/3".
All worked fine and all the repository objects where created both in CRM and R/3, and the fileds was appended in structure CUSTOMER_I (CRM).
The problem is when I replicate the data, because of existing customer fields  in R/3.
In R/3 I have exisiting fields on BAPE_VBAP
    ZFIELD_1  [CHAR1]  - existing
    ZFIELD_2  (CHAR1] - existing
    ZFIELD_A  [CHAR30] (the new one)
Assuming the above field values are X-Y-thisisatest
the value of ZFIELD_A in CRM will be "XYthisisatest", since R/3 sends, in structure BAPIPAREX all the three Customer fields.
In the generated (from EEWB) method ZEEW_DATAEXCHANGE01->CRM_DATAEXCH_R3D_MBDOC_FILL, called when transferring the order to CRM , all the first 30 positions are moved to ZFIELD_A from CRM.
A solution would be to change the generated coding of the above method, by truncating the first 2 chars, but it's not so nice (and I also could loose the changes after a generation of the EEWB project).
    Anyone has a nicer idea?
    thanks a lot,
    Fabrizio

  • Deleting Contact Person from BP Rel

    Hi All,
We are having this issue in our PROD systems. We have ECC6.0 and CRM5.0 connected thru Middleware. For some reasons we have to delete the contact for a BP (Customer) from ECC. But this deletion is not getting reflected in CRM. I mean the contact is not getting deleted from BP(Sold_to) relationships from CRM as this contact was used previously in business transactions. If i do not do this the two systems will go out of synch.
Is there any way to delete this contact or workaround so that i can tell the users in CRM that this contact is no more a contact to so and so BP (Sold_to)? I also tried to archive this contact but for some reason it is not allowing me to do this either.
    Any thought would be great.
    Thanks,
    Karuna.

    Hi Atin,
Thank you very much. ECC is the driver in our scenario. CRM is getting updated thru ECC. When we try to create a contact from BP REL we are getting this error :
"Address is still being used and may not be deleted".
The following is the description from Performance Assistant
Address is still being used and may not be deleted
    Message no. R1455
    Diagnosis
You tried to delete a BP address. This BP is still being used somewhere in the system, meaning that you are not permitted to delete this address.
    System Response
Error message. The BP address is not deleted.
    Procedure
Look at the where-used list for the BP address. If you still want to delete the address, change the reference to this address in the applications affected. In most cases, if applications other than maintenance of business partner itself are affected, you can navigate directly to the corresponding application from the where-used list (by calling the context menu with the right mouse button). You can then try again to delete the BP address.
    Note
If a business partner is merely moving, you only need to change the actual address details. All references are automatically transferred to the new address.
    Thanks,
    Karuna.

  • Document/customer pricing and replication of pricing data from r/3 to crm

tel me abt customer and document pricing procedure, how it will be effected in the transactions.

    Hello Sathish,
Start from here: [Data Transfer from SAP ECC (Download)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/51/62431b7b3511d3ad650000e8a5bd28/content.htm] The help document gives you the steps required. You can also see the [Master Guide |https://service.sap.com/~sapdownload/011000358700001398312008E/MG_CRM2007V2.pdf]or [Customizing Replication Guide|http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/BBLibrary/Documentation/B09_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc] for similar configuration information.
Essentially after you download the pricing related customizing data from ECC into CRM, you have to download the conditions. the standard conditions get downloaded without any issues since the download adapters are defined already. However, for downloading custom conditions in ECC, you have to do further configuration. You have to define the adapter objects and do the initial download of those conditions. Such an information is available in the [Master data and Transaction data Replication Guide|http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/BBLibrary/Documentation/C03_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc].

  • Replication of pricing routiens from R/3 to CRM

    dear Experts,
We have created pricing procedure in ECC and we have used a pricing Routine for calculation purpose and assigned it to our Condition Type.
As our leading system is CRM we have downloaded the pricing procedure from ECC to CRM using DNL_CUST_CNDALL. Now entire pricing procedure got downloaded with that routine no. as well.
We have done a BADI in place of writing this User Exit in IPC .Whenever I create a Transaction the conditions are failing and giving message saying that Requirement Failed for that particular condition which is assigned with requirement no.
As an alternative we have done a dummy user Exit in IPC and assigned with the same routine no. but still problem persists.
we are getting the message in step text "Condition ignored(requirement<number> not fulfilled)"in pricing analysis.
    Please Suggest.
    Regards,
    Bixamaiah.

    Hi,
You have mentioned in your post above, that you have done a BADI instead writing a User Exit in IPC.
Could you explain more on this BADI. Was your error resolved?
We have a requirement where we would like to write the Pricing logic in an ABAP fumction module / method, and call this from appropriate user exit in IPC. Hence I am interested in knowing what your BADI does.

    SK
