Deactivate the "Control Point # X,Y" labels in Motion 3?

Is there away to turn off the overlay labels that pop up when you're animating mask and shape control points? They're obstructing my view obscenely.
I can't figure out how to turn them off. There's not an option to deselect them in the View -> Overlay menu.

  • Labelling wires can be made easy ..!! Take the control Name as default - Label Name for wire

Wire : Right Click --> Visbile --> Label  (Its void Now )
Solution : It can take the control Name as default label of the wire,  instead of  being Void
Not sure if this idea is already proposed.

Ya true, in the above case it should take the indicator Label
It's just as easy to construct a case where there are multiple sinks to the wire and then you can't just say "take the indicator label". My point was that I don't want NI spending time on figuring that out and writing that code.
As for your second example, now there's suddenly even more magic in there - The wire labels somehow gained the brackets and the wires which have an uninitialized shift register as a source somehow know that they should take the labels from other wires in the loop.
If you think the logic for this is simple, you can try writing a Quick Drop shortcut which will do this - for all selected elements which are wires, go find their ultimate source and take its label and apply it to the wire. I think if you try that you'll appreciate why I don't want NI to spend time on this. You might also find that the tool you wrote works well enough for you and you can use it right now without having to wait for NI.

  • How will Aperture treat Nikon raw images which have been enhanced using Capture NX2 software?  Some are cropped and "developed" and some have been enhanced using the control point technology.  I have NIK sw as a plug-in in aperture.

Actually, there is a Nik/Nikon connection — but I am pretty sure it is irrelevant to the OP's question. The connection is that Capture NX2 was written as a joint venture between Nikon and Nik. (The name similarity is a coincidence.)
Capture NX2 is a cool program that incorporates the features of Nik's Viveza and Nikon's Raw processing engine, along with some other powerful image adjustment features. It provides, like Aperture, a losses workflow. Unlike Aperture, the adjustments (Edit Steps in C-NX terminology) are saved in the original NEF file along with the un-altered raw data. Multiple versions can be saved in a single NEF.

  • How do I move all of the control points at the same time at the Path Text preset?

I'm doing motion typography, I used the Bezier Shape Type, it has 4 control points, I saved the custom preset I made, but the problem is, is it possible to move them at the same time? I'm animating per letter to form a word.
Additional Question: Is it possible to add more control points? If then, how?
    Thanks in advanced.

Double-click the path shape to invoke the transform box. Read up on how to use the path tools to insert and modify points.

  • Removing of the Measuring  point and superior equipment

    Hi,
Can any one tell me the steps to followed for removing and setting og deletion flag for measuring point and superior equipment.
I ran thr Tcode IK05 and deactivated it is it sufficient to do so.please help me.

    hi
why you want to deactivate the measuring point ,if you have created a maintenance plan you can deactivate the maintenance plan so that system will not generate the maintenance call object.
or it is better you deactivate the equipment itself if you have done that you cannot able to enter further measurement documents for measuring point

  • Pen tool control points too small

Is there any way to make it easier to select control points for the pen tool? It's really frustrating trying to edit paths since I keep missing the control point which deselects the whole path.
Ideally I'd like to be able to increase the size of the control points themselves, but alternatively is there a 'snap to control point' option or something so I don't have to precisely click on a 1x1 pixel dot? It'd even be good if the size of the control points increase as I zoom in, but I can't see how to do that either. I'm using CS3.
    Thanks,
    Sam

  • Vector lines and control points stay onscreen

    Photoshop CS6 64bit WIndows 7 64 Bit.
Using pen tool to create a mask.
After de-selection of path (using pointer tool, paintbrush or anything else) the vector line including the control points does not disappear as normal.
Deleting the layer removes it, but changing the visibility of the layer does not have any effect - it simply stays onscreen.

  • 3D curve and control points

    Hello All-
I'm sure this is an easy answer; just can't seem to figure it out. I've drawn out a curve with a few control points. All I want to do is adjust the control point so the curve is 3D. Each point should have an X,Y and Z value. But when I switch to 3D the points only retain the X and Y. I am not able to move the points in any view other than the one I drew the path in.
What's up with that? Am I missing something or ...
And why can't I see the curve in the viewport unless I have Adjust Control Points or Adjust Item Tool active. Shouldn't a curve (shape) inside a group be visible at all times?
What I want to is create curves that will go around an object and I can attach a brushstroke to the curve. Can I do that some how?

Curves drawn with the shape tools, as you have discovered, are 2-D: the control points only have X and Y coordinates. They can live in 3D space, but they live on a plane.
One fix is to instead use a motion path behavior - its control points can be manipulated in x, y, and z.
There is another fix using a replicator and a frozen sequence replicator behavior, but it all depends on what you are trying to do.

  • I want to spatially rectify an image using a set of control points using IMAQ functions.

I want to spatially rectify one image to another using a set of mutual control points.  I have some Matlab code that will accomplish this but I want to use the Labview/IMAQ fucntions to accomplish it.  I already have a VI that will generate the control points
Has any one run into sample code or any documentation that describs how this can be done?

  • Moving control points of a mask

I know this is an easy question--
I have a mask over a video clip. I need to move the control points individually over time.
It's easy enough to move them in the inspector, but how do you move individual points with the mouse.
Whatever I try, it moves the entire mask!
    Thanks!

Select the mask in the layer list. From the Adjust tools in the toolbar, select the adjust control points tool (second to the last in the list). You can then click on a control point in the canvas to select it. You can also shift click, or click and drag to select points. If you're using a bezier you can use the command key to add handles or the option key to break handles. It' pretty much like using paths in Photoshop.
If you aren't seeing the mask path in the canvas, make sure you Show Overlays, Handles and Lines enabled.

  • Changing control points of bezier mask?

This is probably a pretty simple question to answer, but I can't figure out how to change the control points of a mask after deselecting the mask layer and reselecting. I set my control points, then went through and made some other markers in the clip, then went back to the mask layer. The control points aren't showing up and the mask tool (that I used to make the mask) is deactivated. I've had this problem before and have been able to create a new mask and change the control points as long as I stay in the mask layer, but I'm sure there's a way to go back and forth. Does anyone know?
    Thanks!

Press the tab key until your tool changes to Adjust Control Points. Alternatively, you can press and hold on the arrow tool and select it from the pop-up menu...

  • Cisco asa control point 100%

    Hi All,
What does the 100% below means. Does it indicate that the system is currently under huge cpu intensive load ?
Current control point elapsed versus the maximum control point elapsed for:
5 seconds = 100.0%; 1 minute: 100.0%; 5 minutes: 100.0% Current control point elapsed versus the maximum control point elapsed for:
          5 seconds = 100.0%; 1 minute: 100.0%; 5 minutes: 100.0%

    Hello,
Yes. It may be. However, you can check the output of Show CPU usage. Normally if the control Point is under 100% the ASA mostlikely would be too.
Have in consideration the following bug:

If you need further assistance, use the show process CPU usage sorted and paste it here, or open a TAC case.

  • Selecting an existing volume control point-hit and miss

    Hi folks,
Learning GarageBand feature by feature and enjoying it at every step.
Minor annoyance with the following and hoping someone has a way to make it less so.
I added volume control points to a song track to lower the volume at certain areas. I wanted to modify the levels but for the life of me selecting the already existing points results in adding a new control point I can never hit the blue dot on target to select it.
Any key click available to ensure I select the control point I want to move and not create a new one?
    Thanks in advance.

i'm afraid not, the only advice is to set and click the mouse _very_ carefully, and perhaps zooming the screen to see the point and mouse tip better

  • Mask control point 'HUD' type info-can it be disabled when editing points?

I find that the control point info often obscures crucial parts of the image that I'm trying to mask, so it would be helpful to disable this info.
I've tried toggling various overlay options in the view menu but no luck as yet. Any ideas? Thanks

No, you cannot. And thank you. I thought I was the only one who was bothered by that little tool tip. I've never found a way to shut it off.
The only real think you can do is zoom in closer until it doesn't obscure what you're trying to see. For masking operations, I've become very adept at using the zoom tool (Z). Click and drag right to zoom in, left to zoom out, then just hit the tab key to go back to your regular selection tool. Works great for masks and other precision work.

  • Motion control points

I am trying to follow a tutorial for Motion.  I have to draw a line using the 'Paint Stroke' tool then edit the points with the Edit Control Points' tool.  However, when I select the 'Edit Control Points' tool the control points don't show.  I think I've tried everything.
    I hope it's something simple.
    Thanks

    Hi Andy,
Thanks for replying.  I've worked out what was wrong.  In the view menu the 'show overlays' item wasn't checked. I had looked at this item a dozen times but thought it was just a menu heading as all the other items were checked.  I knew it was something very simple like this, some days you just can't see the wood for the trees.
    Thanks for trying.
