Dear Apple,
Please allow us to upload our custom EQ settings from iTunes into iPod devices. I tried that with iTunes 6 and my custom settings did not upload into iPod device plus the attempt reset my iTunes 6 EQ custom settings.
Where does iTunes store custom EQ setting scripts on my computer? Why doesn't the iPod device accept my custom settings? Don't you want to be the best mp3 player ever?

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

Make sure your headphones are plugged ALL the way in, meaning the white part of the headphones is flush with the Nano and you cannot see any silver from the plug still showing.

The fact that I recently replace a stolen Ipod Classic and it isn't compatible w/iTunes9 is really screwed up. You have failed many!

Sorry but no. The only way to restore an iPod to factory settings is through iTunes on a computer. You will need to get access to a computer somehow. If you can get to an Apple Store, they can probably help you.

I have put up with it for months, until june 7 when I decided it has been long enough, and I got a replacement. I told the genius bar what happened, and I already did the so called "steps" that apple reccommended on the site, which was reset network settings, restore iPhone. The genius bar gave me a replacement phone, so I was expecting that the problem would be over, but it isn't. It seems that it's iOS 6.1.3 which is the case of most public complaints on apple iPhone products. Not even 3 weeks after I got the phone replaced, it is doing it again, so I suspect I'm just going to get a replacement again? Unfortunately I only have until 5th of july 2013 until my 1 year warranty is up. After that, any issue I have, I have to purchase apple care. People are expecting this problem to be fixed but I don't see it being solved any time soon. This is horrible and really low, because I have been a good customer, when I talk to the people at the genius bar, I show the utmost respect I can to them for the work they put into their job, but somewhere there is a problem where something has gone wrong. Because of that, people that only have a one year warranty (which i received because I purchased my apple iPhone at an Optus outlet, once that one year warranty is up, I have to pay for a problem that isn't even my fault? That isn't how it should work, you should be fixing this problem so people can be happy customers and leave happy. Obviously you don't all know how to do your jobs, because if you did, we wouldn't have this problem. I would like a replacement phone, ONCE AGAIN. How to use the spotlight search for photos imported onto an apple ipod model MB528BT

I have an apple ipod model MB528BT version 4.2.1 (8C148) Im think its an iPod touch as opposed to the old iPod but cannot be certain. So first of all does this model number mean anything and/or can I confirm myself via the unit itself?
Assuming its an iPod Touch my question is :-
I have copied photos from a dvd I purchased for identifying birds onto my iMac which I readily search via spotlight.
Having downloaded these photos onto my ipod when I conduct a spotlight search it only finds the birdsong but not the image! Cannot get into settings for spotlight to set for images. If of course this is the answer.
Anyone know the answer please!

Did you change the ID in Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID? Tap the old ID and sign out and then sign in with the new one. If not running iOS 6 it will be Settings>Stores>Apple ID.

         red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
          If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake
          and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake
          and Home buttons.
     3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device.
         The device should turn on. Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device
         charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then
         start with step 2 again.
     4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
         When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
     5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:

Κανε backup στο iTunes και μετά κάνε restore as new. Δηλαδή Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Content and Settings. Οταν τελειώσει θα έχουν σβηστεί όλα. Μην κανεις restore from backup. Δοκίμασε πρώτα νε δεις αν δουλεύει το wi-fi. Αν δεν δουλεύει πας στο service. Αν δουλεύει κάνε restore from backup. Αν το πρόβλημα ξαναεμφανιστεί τότε πρέπει να ξανακανεις restore as new και να το στησεις απο την αρχή. Αν δεν εμφανιστεί έχεις καθαρίσει. Μην ξεχάσεις να συγχρονίζεις επαφές και ημερολόγια πριν το restore.

I'm in a WiFi trouble here!! actually Troubles with WiFi on my iPad
* my wifi connects on every wireless network fine BUT:
1- my wifi works in every network EXCEPT my MiFi Novatel It disconnects after 5 / 10 mins sometimes hour, I have to reset the password, and when I change the ipad handling and flip it in different angles it connects back !!!!
2- My iPad, even with the networks that doesnt disconnect, not like the my MiFi Novatel, sometimes like when I wait for pictures to load on website, they (the pics) get stuck a little bit and doesnt load UNTIL I FLIP THE IPAD , I change the handling, sometimes even websites dont open until I change the handling!!
I also Updated yesterday my iPad to 3.2.2 , and NO, It doesnt solve the problem!
What's going on here? Is there a technical issue ? or something like that ? and when I went to the iCity official store in my country, the supporter talked to me like I'm lying or I'm a (NOOB)! he says No no no it works fine ( he didnt even see the ipad, and I think he never heard of the iPad wifi issues at all that even Apple official web admitted ) and he says that my problem is with the settings of my MiFi, Well ok ! I hope so! But HELP? and BTW , I have tried changing the pass encryption to WEP WPA and all with my MiFi Novatel, didnt work !

I had what sounds like a very similar issues and figured out fix.
On your router, try setting the encryption to wpa. There is an option for Auto that switches between AES and TKIP. Choose AES only.
Choose Forget on the iPad or iPhone (or both, depending on which you have). You will also find that you will have to delete the network on your home computer and other devices that access it as the new encryption settings won't match the new router settings. You will be prompted for the password. After weeks of grief, this managed to work for me. Hope it does for you too. I was about to do he discus toss with my iPad before I got here!
