Dear Apple's people, please note that "Lightning to 30 pin Adapter" don't work with iPhone5 and iPhone5s "Base Dock" !!!!

Ho comprato un adattatore originale Apple "lighitning to 30 pin adapter" per poter usare i mei vecchi cavi dell'iPhone4 con il nuovo iPhone5.
Se collego l'adattatore (con il vecchio cavo delliPhone4) direttamente all'iPhone5 , tutto funziona.
Ma se collego l'adattatore (con il vecchio cavo delliPhone4) all'iPhone5 tramite la "base dock" , l'adattatore non viene riconosciuto e non funziona.
Pensando che l'adattatore fosse rotto, ho riprovato con altri identici adattatori originali, ma il risultatato è lo stesso.
Quindi penso che potrebbe essere un errore di progettazione della base dock che supporta unicamente la connessione diretta tramite un cavo lighning e non supporta la connessione se in mezzo c'è l'adattatore !!

Currently we are trying to create an istore order and while doing so when we add an item to the cart, the shopping cart throws the error "please note that the quote/cart has already been placed as an order and cannot be modified". This is happening with a particular user alone. We had created an order earlier and this got converted from quote to order. Now when we created a new one this error is appearing. Also there are no records in the table IBE_ACTIVE_QUOTES_ALL for that user for any active carts. Please provide the suggestions. I have cleared the cache bounced the istore server and logged out and logged in and still the issue is existing.

Please confirm there is no active cart
Confirm data in ibe_active_quotes_all
SQL>select active_quote_id, order_header_id, quote_header_id
from ibe_active_quotes_all
where party_id = &partyid
and cust_account_id = &cust_id;
To get values -
select customer_id from fnd_user where user_name = <iStore username > ==> value 1
select person_party_id from fnd_user where user_name = <iStore username>
select object_id from hz_relationship where subject_id = <above person_party_id>
select cust_account_id from hz_cust_accounts where party_id =<above object_id> ==> value 2
Confirm data is in synch in the Quoting table aso_quote_headers_all :
SQL> select order_id from aso_quote_headers_all
where quote_header_id = &from above;
If an active cart is found you can delete -
delete from ibe_active_quotes_all where party_id = <value 1> and cust_account_id = <value 2> and record_type= 'CART';
>> this will remove the active cart of the user, hence you can proceed with next cart.

It appears that the update made the iPd incompatible with the Sony dock. Try contacting Sony. Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

Has anyone found a lightning to 30 pin adapter where the lightning end is the same size as the cable that comes with the phone? I know there have been some non-apple versions, but I can't tell if they are the same as the Apple versions where the lightnin end is slightly bigger than the cabe that ships with the phone. Most iPhone bumpers only accomodate the original charing cabe ad the adapter cable is just slighter bigger and doesnt fit. Also, i'm not referring to the square, cable-less adapter.

Depending on your caes I shaped mine carefully with a craft knife seems all the case manufacturers designed the cases for lightning cables but seemed blind to the adapter and it's likely use

Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m) with iPhone 5s working good with power adapter and 30-pin cable, but how iPhone at 100% power, I see message "This accessories is not working correctly".
But with iPad mini 1 everything is OK.

Bottom line, the iPhone case restricted insertion of the 8 pin adapter into the IPhone. Slide in cases with open bottoms have no problems but wrap around cases can restrict flush insertion due to insufficient access to the recepticle in the iPhone.

When you connect an iPod or iPhone with the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter, the iPod or iPhone will be treated like an iPod that does not support iPod Out. You should still be able to navigate through and play your music using the vehicle's built-in user interface.

Lightning to 30 pin adapter

I currently have a 5th generation 30GB ipod that I use in my car with a cables to go 3.5mm to dock connector audio cable.
I want to upgrade to a 32GB ipod touch and I was wondering if I use the Apple lightning to 30 pin adapter and connect it to my cables to go cable in my car will the touch give me a line out signal the way my current ipod and cable does so that I can listen through my cars audio system?

I ended up cancelling my order for an iPod touch 4 and instead ordered an iPod touch 5 32GB.
I received my iPod touch 5 yesterday and tried using the Lightning to 30 pin adapter in my car with the Cables to Go 30 pin connector to 3.5mm cable connected to the AUX port in my car and heard nothing through my cars stereo system.
Fortunately when I ordered the iPod I also ordered another 30 pin connector to 3.5mm cable by Comprehensive and when I hooked up that cable in my car it seemed to work perfectly. Not sure what the difference in the cables could be, but I think I will pick up an extra one.

I was wondering if, while using an iPoud Touch 5th Gen, a lightnight to 30pin adapter, and an iHome, would it charge and be able to play music? I saw something saying you won't but i wasn't sure if that was credible. Is there a way to make the iHome work with it if not?

Iphone 5S lightning to 30 pin adapter - too short to keep on the case while using it! :(

I just realized the adapter I need to connect the media station on my car (Audi A8) can only be used by taking the phone off from the case (Iphone 5S case blue color) : why the pin cannot be done a little longer, so to avoid taking the case off every time I need to recharge or to listen to my music ?
This make no sense...
The cable supplied by Apple is not suiting at its best when the cable from Belkin is pefectly working, I don't need to take the phone off from the case if I need to recharge!

it just shows up as 'no ipod' the cable doesn't look damaged at all, looks new. i have the 30pin connector in the car i plugged in an iphone 4s and it worked perfectly fine then i tried a different iphone 5 and the same thing happened?
