Dear Lord, why?!

I just finished shooting a feature using the JVC GY-HD100U. A fantastic camera all around (after watching the first batch of dailies said he would now never go back to film..), but now it's come time to edit the movie and...
... well, we seem to have a major problem. I asked the rentail house where we got the camera if it would work with the newest version of FCP, and he gave a resounding "yes".
What he didn't tell me was it wouldn't work with footage shot in 24p!
Now, basically, I have 22 hours of footage that need to be captured, and nowhere to go. I've read tons of articles about what kind of stopgap measures you can take, but none of it adds up (Well, outside of the major advice of staying away from Lumiere, due to audio synch problems, amongst other issues).
So, basically the JVC GY-HD100U is the nicest car on the block... but no one has seemed to create a fuel it can run on!
Anyone know when Apple is going to put out a version of Final Cut that will support 24p HD?

Even if we knew, we couldn't say. And it is against Apple rules to speculate about it on their site. BUT...they did have a working version of it at NAB...two months ago...so it can't be long now.
The only other solution is expensive. A Kona LH (or LHe) card, JVC HDV Deck and capturing at DVCPRO HD resolution. Or Lumiere.
I hate it when people give out incorrect information. Well, it wasn't incorrect, FCP does work with that camera, but only in certain formats.
The advice I give to everyone shooting with new cameras..or ANY camera really, is test test test test test before you commit. Test your workflow, make darn sure ti works before you invest your time and energy into a project. I researched and tested the HVX-200 camera and P2 workflow for 3 months before we shot one frame for the project.
Good news is that it is on the horizon, and you shouldn't have to wait long.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Why weren't you able to download each day's gift ? Whilst the 12 Days app required iOS 7 to be able to install it on a device, each day's gift was available to download direct in the iTunes or App Store apps, or via iTunes on your computer.

as I was going through your Website I noticed that FaceTime and PhotoBooth are very similar. I don't know how these two are built, but ins't this a great idea bring them together? Because I don't see any problems. And how about having iChat integrated like Windows Lync (Coorporate Communicator)?

In actual fact iChat came first.
It had Video Effects before Photo Booth came out and could/can take snapshots of the Preview pic or the chat.
Face Time at one level (visually) is a much simpler app all round.
It does one job. Connecting Video chats on a 1-to-1 basis.
iChat can connect to Jabber servers and/or use the AIM Network (i.e Screen Names and IDs from other servers)
Face Time uses Apple IDs
Face Time also uses port 5223 the same as Jabber servers do (Jabber servers use this for Login).
Currently an MobileMe name ending in @me.com is:-
1) an Apple ID (Access to Communities with an Alias, iTunes, On Line Store, MacApp Store and so on)
2) A Working Email
3) a Valid Screen Name with the AIM Service (providing your password is 16 characters or less (AIM Limit)
4) a Face Time Name. (re 1) ) (Listed only to stress the point)
A @mac.com name is:-
1) a valid AIM Screen Name (Same password Restrictions)
2) An Apple ID (There was a time when names could be registered after MobileMe was launched, up to about 6 months ago when the Apple ID part was Optional)
3) May be a working email if linked to an MobileMe account at the Mobile Me launch.
An Apple ID can be any other name, most likely an email address that has been used to register in any of the places in 1) in the Mobileme bit.
If an Email was used this way it cannot be linked to a new Apple ID (Such as an @mac.com registration for iChat or Face Time)
There would be some use in Face Time having a Jabber server so that Face Time to iChat could be done.
(It remains to be seen how many would wish to add Jabber as well as having an AIM (Valid) name in iChat.
iChat and Face Time can in fact access the camera at the same time (the only two apps that I know can do this without the Camera in Use message).
There might be a call for Video effects in Fact Time but this may be beyond the processor capabilities of iOS devices.
All in all linking Photo Booth and Face Time would only recreate iChat.

Dear Apple, why not fixing basic bugs?

I was sure that installing Leopard and using the new Mail.app I was finally able to use rich text format with my own font having all my recipients receiving the email message with the correct font.
This is still not happening!! I can't believe it...
So, why adding "300 new features" and not fixing this kind of annoying (and really old) bugs?
I do have the most advanced operating system running, but I still have to "write the message, select all text, and set the font" everytime I send a new eMail.
Any plan to finally fix this problem, forever?

There is a bug mentioned there which I think has not been fixed in Leopard.
If you try to use the font button in the new message pane to set a new font size with rich text for the same font which you have set as the Message Font in the Mail preferences, it will seem to work but in fact the html generated by Mail contains only the size and not the font name. So it will be displayed at the other end in whatever font the user has set for his default. The workaround for that has been to make sure these fonts are different.
This also seems to happen with Leopard Stationery. If you create a custom stationery for Helvetica 36 while your Message Font in preferences is set to Helvetica, the stationery code will have no font name in it. The way around that is to create your custom Helvetica stationary while your Message Font is set to something else. That stationery can then be used later whatever your Message font is set to.
Though totally different from the question of having a preference setting for a default outgoing font, this really is something Apple should fix.

Dear God, why is this so complicated?

Way back when when I bought this 1 GB iPod Nano for my car stereo, I loaded a bunch of songs on it and haven't messed with it for a year and a half. Now, I have deleted a number of songs (20?) and want to put a few new ones on it. However, the iPod says there is no room? Now why is it I can delete 20 songs, but can't put two new ones back on? Please help!

Did you delete the actual songs themselves?
For instance, merely deleting a playlist will not free up space.

I think it would be smart of apple to allow a version of ios7 for those of its millions of costumers that have an i touch 4th generation. even if you had to charge $20 or something to do the upgrade.

I ran a firefox web app that froze my machine, no prob, happens in Windows all the time. But that circle rainbow thing wouldn't go away. It even endured a reboot. Basically, I had to unplg the mac and start it in a different room for it to go away.
Are there any conrtol buttons to overrride this "feature?"

Yes, there are such controls:
- The keyboard shortcut option-command-escape [⌥⌘⎋] will bring the Force Quit window. Choose the one frozen application and quit it from there.
- Open Activity Monitor (in the Utilities folder), then in the large processes window, highlight the problematic process and click the red "Quit Process".
- Last resort, if none of those work, use the power button: keep it depressed for a few seconds (as if you just hit it once, it's just a sleep command).
Your "Spinning Beach Ball Of Death" problem:
From your explanations, I'm not sure which process is stuck.
I thought it was your Firefox app (in this case, it's stuck for some reason, so just force-quit it as indicated above), but then you seem to be so stuck you cannot reach the "escape" commands (that would be a stuck finder): so try the power button.
When a process is frozen:
Usually the rest work well, it's not the whole system (that's the beauty of Mac OS X multi-tasking handling), so you just need to quit the one frozen process, without needing to restart.
When you see the "Spinning Beach Ball Of Death":
It is possible too, that no process is frozen, only some huge task is being run (sometimes due to a mistake, like for example the (long!) Finder process of duplicating 50000 photos, because you would have clicked the wrong line...).
Where does the problem come from:
Hover the mouse cursor over different open apps and the menubar: you'll find which works and which just gives the SBBOD.
