Dear All,
I have taken a lot of photos & videos using SLR & DSLR Cameras.
I want to create a video montage as slide show for both of images & videos, but my question is ?
How I know the best frame size for my photos and to have the best resolution after rendering.
Note: I tried 800 x 600 but actually I don't understand the new project settings in premiere specially the too much NTSC and PAL, I don't know what is the different ?
So just help please to to create the good settings for the good video rendered.

Check the music tab on the iPhones iTunes page, and make sure "sync all music" is checked. If you chose only to sync certain music, new music will not automatically show up.

New Premiere user, 3 issues : zooming out, changing keyboard shortcuts, removing gain

Hi there,
Former FCP user here transitioning to Premiere, first time on this forum.
I have 3 separate issues when using Premiere cc or 2014 :
1/ When I try to zoom out using my tablet, I press 'z' to select the zoom tool, then hold the 'alt' key and click multiple times. But only several (one or two at most) clicks are taken into account, and after one or two clicks, the software seems to forget the alt key and starts zooming in. I'm aware of the 'minus' key shortcut on the keyboard, but a lot of times it would be much faster for me to do it this way. Is there a way to fix this ?
2/ I want to switch the hotkey "return" from "rendering effects" to "rendering selection". But when I try to hit 'return' in the shortcut window (after selecting the right action and getting the prompt box), it assumes I'm selecting 'Ok' and leaves... Any idea how I should do ?
3/ This one should be easier but I can't seem to find it : how do I remove the gain control line from the clips on the timeline ? I keep changing the audio gain when all I want to do is grab a clip.

Yes, I tried scrapping my preferences, but to no avail. I should perhaps have specified that my program runs in International English, but the keyboard is French. However, this is the first time using PS that this problem has arisen.

I'm unable to set up an exchange account on my Nokia E6. Device keeps prompting for password despite the fact that credencials are correct.
This problem is described in other topics (and concerning other E-models).
I'v called Nokia support in my country (Poland), they said they can't do anything to help me, and that I should go to the nokia repair place - maybe they can help.

Please create an account (if you don't have one) on hotmail.com, and try to sync it (contacts, calendar, tasks) over the exchange function.
BTW it's pretty cool function - you can sync contacts and calendar over the web with this free account. Instrucions how to do this:
You are using your e-mail address as a username, exchange server is m.hotmail.com, and leaving 'domain' empty.
Warning!
The sync can delete all your contacts if you choose wrong option in settings, so be careful! Do the backup first

While waiting for an update from Nokia,
A temporary solution to show the character counter when writing messages,
Just download Switch Board from Nokia store,
Switch Board is a virtual keyboard conception,
When it's on your screen you still can use your qwerty at least you can see the counter,
I have it & I'm using it,
It's a good news & it's free.

Advice needed for a new Adobe Premiere user

hello!
I'm super new to Adobe Premiere. I'm taking a Cinematography class this semester and I'm trying to build my first system for video editing. I'm looking at film-making as a future career, so I need to get a system that can very easily be upgradeable.

I am not sure what your confidence level is with regards to building your own system. I was planning on doing the same thing recently. Actually I'm almost positive that I could have done it. However, I was following the posts of one of the posters here. He was building a system quite similar to what I wanted. I'm sure he is much more competent with computer systems than I but I read a lot, did a lot of research, and am somewhat mechanically inclined. He ended up with an issue at the end of his build. Not sure how he finally got it resolved but that is not the point. My point is that if that were to have happened to me then who would I call for help? That is not to say I couldn't have drawn on the experts on this forum that never cease to amaze me with their supreme knowledge. I'm sure they have helped hundreds in the same way. I got cold feet and decided to look for someone to build my system. I chose ADK. They come highly recommended by the folks on this forum. Best decision I made. My system is built with the new 3930 intel processor with 32 GB of Ram. You should at least check them out. go to their website or contact Scott at [email protected] Peace of mind was worth it to me. With my system, I am happier than a clam at high tide.

Dear iWeb users with problems publishing

I have run the gamete of error messages today, all day, and still.But I have been able to publish all I have tried to publish today. The program just seems determined to undermine my confidence.
So if you keep getting error messages, please check your site, it seems to be publishing just fine, just not finishing the talk back(?) to itself.
Wish I had checked the site before I wasted hours trying to get the program to admit it had done a fine job of publishing. Seems to be the latest upgrade is at fault, I have not had so many error messages since 1.1.0. Or whatever it was called.
So please check your site, it just might have worked.

publish, are you simply clicking "Publish", or do you
go to the menu and "Publish all to .Mac"?
Just Publish. Unless I get errors, then I Publish All in case something got mixed up.

When i turn my phone the screen is frozen one way. (does not turn) There is a symbol next to the battrey indicator that shows a arrow circkle with a lock inside. Does anyone know how to unlock the screen?

Click the home button twice. Now your home screen is devided in two parts, the dimmed home screen, and a grey bar at the bottom. Slide this grey bar to the right til the iPod icon appears. On the left there is an arrow circle in a square showing a lock. Tap there, and your screen will be unlocked.

O.K., first up, Darla?!? She's dead!! Oh wait, that's right. Not an issue in this television show.
Anyway, we've just got to the Buffy/Angel crossover where Willow heads to L.A., so we only just got to see Buffy tell Robin "The mission is all that matters," with all the baggage that went along with that comment. Also nice to see more of Spike's background and how he got the trigger.
As for your earlier question regarding Giles and Robin teaming up to take out Spike, I don't see a problem with it. If anything I'm on their side. I think Buffy was wrong. She's basically said "You're all expendable for the cause, including Dawn, just not Spike."
The girl's got some serious issues to get through before she passes on into syndication.
The other thing that gets me, and I'm not sure just how metaphysical the show's ready to go but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it head into these waters, but I'm also quite surprised that no one's figured out the nature of the foe they're facing.
"The First" is supposed to be evil incarnate. It's the first evil from which all other evil comes from. Basically it's a force, or a concept given an anthropomorphic personification. Surely the way to fight evil is to do good. By promoting infighting, deception, fear and the like, surely they just become what they're fighting, increase the amount of evil and strengthen their enemy.
Or maybe I'm thinking too much. Not to mention that a series of watching the Scooby Gang "doing good to fight evil" would be boring as proverbial.

Your computer needs that calibration to accurately provide estimates as to time and percentage remaining. I have found that my times increase after the calibration and after several or more actual battery cycles. (Real cycles, not run down to zero then plug in, but use on power adapter and on battery when each is convenient.)
If you watch the time remaining all the time, you will see that it does not reduce on a regular basis; it decreases according to the current usage, apps, and functions. It may show 9 hours one minute and yet be 4.5 hours a few minutes later, and then be 7 hours yet again--- it all depends upon the current usage. I would say that average actual usage for me is seven hours. Just don't zero out the battery. Calibrate according to the directions about once a month.
Tis a lot better battery and usage than I got with the original MBA at about max three hours.

Audio transcription: how to make it work?

Hello dear Premiere users,
I am evaluating Premiere Pro for its audio transcription feature, and I can't make it work.
I use Windows 7 64 bits.
My knowledge of Premiere Pro is limited so I might be missing a step.
Here is what I do: (Since I am using a French version of Premiere Pro, some interface 'terms' may be actually different in the English version of Premiere Pro).
• I create a Premiere project
• In the media Explorer tab, I open a video file (720p mp4 from Youtube), of an audio file (mp3 for an Internet podcast).
• I select the Metadata tab and I press the Analyze button > I select Audio, and Quality: High
Adobe Media Encoder is lauched and works for some seconds or minutes (depending on the length of my file)
It creates 3 files in C:\Users\Xxx\AppData\Local\Temp : a .cit file, an .xml file and a .txt file.
The .txt file contains English words so something is going right.
But no text appears in Premiere Pro, in the Metadata tab.
What step am I missing?

Problems using the Program Monitor

Dear Premiere users,
I recently bought Adobe Premiere CS3 and i'm having problems using the Program Monitor.
I cant see anything off screen. It just wont show anything if its outside the boundaries of the screen. I can adjust the zoom level but that wont change anything even if i set it to full screen.
Another problem I'm having is that it wont show motion paths or clip handles. Even if I make a motion path in the Effects Control window it wont show the path in the Program Monitor.
I really appreciate any advice on this because it drives me crazy. I already tried installing it again but that wont solve the problem.

First of all I hope you are being sarcastic Jim. Sorry for being not that clear but I'm not stupid :).
Craig Howard is right. I thought that the Program Monitor was similarly to AEFX. But I suppose I was wrong on this one? So you cant get something to display outside the image area? If I place a clip outside the project dimension it just disappears in the Program Monitor.
And about the motion paths. I thought I read in the Premiere help files that they do show up in the Program Monitor. The topic says: "Adjust position, scale, and rotation" or "Animate motion in the Program Monitor ". There are pictures over there that show clip handles and motion paths in the Program Monitor. Clicking the effect wont do anything for me. Its like my video driver cant get them to show or something.

They are dragging frames off screen and are using the handles and borders around the frame to adjust them. So I guess it should be possible, but how?

Most annoying + best timed error ever... (in my carreer)

First off im using Adobe Premiere CS3 it always have been working great till now (best timing ever)
Heres my story for a client I made an short 1-minute clip for a maffia gaming site it was working great untill I had to edit some small details and tried to render it.
Before this happened Ive had renderd the clip a few times with no problems at all...
Its good to know I took 3 different clips from youtube exported them into an .avi file and putt them in...
Though 2 of the 3 are not working 1 definetley is working...
- Tried many different export settings some give just a total black image and show the text...
- Some of them show this weird error screen.
I just hope one of you guyes can help me out, which will not result in editing the whole movie clip again....

User can not create the quotation in PCUI

Dear All,
User salesrep is not able to create the quotation in PCUI. When he select the quotation tab and click on create button one pop up appears but no quotation appears in it and he can not select it for creating the quotation.
I have checked the authorization objects for this user. Seems everything is ok from authorization point of view.
User has authorization to create, display and delete for quotation in object CRM_ORD_LP.
Please help me regarding this.
