Dear Spotify: WHAT?! [a.k.a. I was hoping for more timely fixes..!]

I really, really, did not want to come here again just for some complaints, but you sure made it difficult! The Desktop player updates must have been the most awful ones I have seen a Company put out there, rivalling only the recent Pushbullet fiasco. I just figured you would see a lot of the issues caused by removing features, but let me list the most glaring ones I have run into for you one more time: Local FilesStill no way to search/filter this list?! Come on, you even added filtering back into Playlists after requests, why would you leave this out!With this it is basically impossible for anyone with a decent music collection (like your userbase? lol) to easily mix and match Local Files with Streamed Songs for a Playlist Linking Files automatically again? No Unlink option? Wow...Automatic Linking has never, ever, in the history of the Spotify Service been reliable. Artists get wrongly linked, Titles get Linked to Songs that are not even remotely similar and Albums just seem to get randomly assigned. Without the much loved Unlink option every User with Local Files is basically guaranteed to end up with Broken/Incorrect Playlists. Cannot manually Remove Local Files? Sjeesh, I cannot even imagine anymore why you would change something like this.Music gets Automatically added, but sometimes you want to change names for Local Files, change the meta-data, whatever. Without an option to Remove/Manually add songs like this, you end up having to reload the entire Local Folder through Settings, how is that convenient? No Drag&Drop? gg. I'll just leave this one without further clarification. UISlow. So slow!Why does it take upwards of five seconds to drag a song onto a Playlist? And why does it then take even longer to move up and down. For users with medium sized playlists this poses a huge chore. Some of us like to sort Songs in our Playlists, not just add everything to the bottom. Device List View? Where did this go, why can't I see what Playlists I have gotten Sync'ed to my device from the Desktop Client anymore?_____ I am sure most of these have been talked about extensively, but every thread I have found seems to have been "managed" to the point where further discussion became impossible. Device List View? Where did this go, why can't I see what Playlists I have gotten Sync'ed to my device from the Desktop Client anymore?
Staff have said that the devices section will be coming back in a future update.

You said "reset," so Meg assumed that's what you did. But "reset" is not a button; to reset the phone you must hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. You may have to hold for up to 30 seconds, and if the battery was completely drained, you will have to restore iOS using iTunes on your computer.

"&" is not the obvious bug/answer. Not sure what went wrong as I cannot select albums and events for sync. Situation is worse for iPad and Apple TV when error 1140 message popped up even before backup get completed.

Download and install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update, which was just released today. It may be the answer to your problems:

Be sure that neither iTunes nor iPhoto is running when you install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update. After installing the update, then restart iTunes and iPhoto. By default, "All photos" is selected. Change this (it's no longer grayed out) to "Selected albums..." and you should be OK.

2. How to know which users are using which transaction or executing which program?

I tried working on ST03N but seems like I either am using it wrongly so I cannot view what I really wantu2026 Also one more thing to add we have not enabled audting becase of the performance issues...

I was hoping Timer would be fixed in iOS 8.3 but no!

In iOS 7 and before, you could set Timer to "Stop Playing" when Timer ends and when whatever you were listening to was stopped you could tap the play button on your headphones and it would pick up where you left off. Does not do this in iOS 8, all versions. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and set timers to stop playing after a certain amount of time. I do this when going to sleep at night or in the middle of the night when I am having trouble falling back to sleep. I used to like to hit the play button and pick right up where I left off but, ever since the introduction of iOS 8, I have to go find the audiobook and then select play from the phone's screen. Timer used to work great and now kinda *****.
Please, Apple, read this and make Timer work like it used to work.

Links to Itunes blitz out a split second after connecting from firefox. I actually Get to Itunes and then POOF! Website not found. I was hoping this would be fixed with 4.0.

Here is what happens: I get an add from Big Fish Games for a game that is from the Itunes store. It has a link and I click it. The link takes me directly to Itunes for about 2 seconds and then blanks out giving me:

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

What to do about a power supply for more than 2 hard drives in my G4 tower

There are bays for up to 4 hard drives on the floor of the G4, but I can only find plugs to get power to two hard drives. I already have a PCI IDE controller card so I can accommodate a number of drives, but I don't know where to get the power from. How are you supposed to power the other two hard drives? There's one spare power cable up where there could be a zip drive, but that won't reach down to the hard drive bays. Is there maybe an extension for that power supply?

Look carefully inside of the tower.
There is another power lead with two power connectors to allow for four hard drives.
It may be curled up and tucked behind the fan shroud.
The power cable with two connectors for the optical drives is yet another power lead.
In total, there are three leads with six connectors.

If my iPhone is fully backed up/synced, would restoring it make me lose anything? It is charging quite slow and not holding the charge like it used to so I was hoping a restore might fix it.

I am wanting to see if a restoring my iPhone will help with an issue I am having with the battery life/charge, but I dont want to risk losing anything, not sure how the restore differs from an iPod

U need to findout the list of Tcode excuted by SAP user
1) Tcode: ST03N
2) Select Expert Mode option
(there u find Server Host name & Today)
If u select Host name u find DAY/WEEK/Month (same thing will in Today option)
3)Now u need to select the option of DAY,WEEK etc.
Now u can find in two ways
1) Transaction profile (Standard / EarlyWatch)
2) User (user profile)
If u select the Transaction profile
Under these u find the option of Aggregation----application/package/tranasation etc.
I hope these will help u to findout.

I'm in a WiFi trouble here!! actually Troubles with WiFi on my iPad
* my wifi connects on every wireless network fine BUT:
1- my wifi works in every network EXCEPT my MiFi Novatel It disconnects after 5 / 10 mins sometimes hour, I have to reset the password, and when I change the ipad handling and flip it in different angles it connects back !!!!
2- My iPad, even with the networks that doesnt disconnect, not like the my MiFi Novatel, sometimes like when I wait for pictures to load on website, they (the pics) get stuck a little bit and doesnt load UNTIL I FLIP THE IPAD , I change the handling, sometimes even websites dont open until I change the handling!!
I also Updated yesterday my iPad to 3.2.2 , and NO, It doesnt solve the problem!
What's going on here? Is there a technical issue ? or something like that ? and when I went to the iCity official store in my country, the supporter talked to me like I'm lying or I'm a (NOOB)! he says No no no it works fine ( he didnt even see the ipad, and I think he never heard of the iPad wifi issues at all that even Apple official web admitted ) and he says that my problem is with the settings of my MiFi, Well ok ! I had what sounds like a very similar issues and figured out fix.
On your router, try setting the encryption to wpa. There is an option for Auto that switches between AES and TKIP. Choose AES only.
Choose Forget on the iPad or iPhone (or both, depending on which you have). You will also find that you will have to delete the network on your home computer and other devices that access it as the new encryption settings won't match the new router settings. You will be prompted for the password. After weeks of grief, this managed to work for me. Hope it does for you too. I was about to do he discus toss with my iPad before I got here!

Within a wk one of the new iPhones started turning on and of like 10 –15 times a day. Wk 2 it turned off and would not turn on again . It was my sons who was in college at the time so we talked and he took it in to a Verizon store where he was told I need to come in since the account was in my name. He was away from home , Verizon could see on account it was his phone they said it was not abused, they could not even turn it on , they sold me the phone give him another phone maybe even a loaner till he gets another. So now I need to go to store and explain to 3 different people this is my phone and my son has it and I need a new one. what a waste of time after about 2 hrs and talking to different people and yes they said there were notes on his account from other person he had talked to from different store. So I finally walk out with a receipt in hand and being told I would have a new phone in a couple days. As I sat in my vehicle thinking this is stupid I looked at my receipt and noticed it said droid on it so back into Verizon I went. The salesman said that’s what your son has on his account. My son had activated a friends old phone so he has one since VERIZON REFUSED to give him one. Another hr 3 people and yes they can see he had a new iPhone and notes on it from other store. Sometimes sorry just doesn't do it. I was now late for a appointment . Now I walk out and have been told I will get a new iPhone in the mail in about 2 wk Yes 2 wks again I bought it there just give me a new one and you send old one back. I will also get a new droid that I have to send back because they said they cant cancel it . In about 3 days I get the Droid and sent it back Verizon mistake and a waste of my time . We are itunes users just like you. We cannot cancel anything.
Look at your purchase history and see what the charge is for. Contact itunes support if need be.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
