Debating on getting IPOD for use in EUROPE

Does anyone know if an ipod nano, would work on a European computer? Would it be recognized? If anyone has any info, please pass it along.

Thanks, I thought this was the case, checking to see if anything had changed. Spain is the country in question. We previously were not able to obtain a Sim there but that may have been because of a carrier or individual employee problem. I think you can get this in the interface. Ideally this gets populated in TOA01 or TOA02 or TOA03 table.

Actually, I strongly suspect if classes were available on any 'feature" that
Apple sales would soar! Too often - I hear about the learning curve. Which I

Neither. The iTunes player is a free download, and there is no charge for using it.
You will only incur a charge if you make a purchase at the iTunes Store.

Converting a windows formatted ipod for use on a imac

Hey.
Mac/ipod heads I have a quick question. I have a 80gig ipod video, that is formatted for usage on a PC. This weekend, I am getting a new computer, a iMac, and I was wondering what I would need to do to convert the ipod over to Mac from Windows.
Should I restore the ipod and just start over? And it will properly sync up to the mac? I need to make sure.

Welcome to the Apple community Dieumai.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Getting iPod to use pre-set EQ settings?

Thankyou to the person who answered my Q about applying Gp EQ settings. Now how do I get my iPod to automatically use these settings when I select a certain album or genre?? At the mo I still seem to have to go into EQ on the iPod and change it even though I've pre-set it in iTunes.

Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
and when I run below command,
select e.empname from emp as e;
am getting error
ORA-00933 SQL Command not properly ended,
but this is allowed right? I mean we can give alias name by using as or whitespace,
Can any one please comment on this,

but only can see channel 1-13 and 36-48
how can I select a high channel?

Don't worry about that stuff. Nobody ever pays any attention to it.
Your Airport Express will work fine in Italy. You will need to get the Apple World Travel Kit to get a plug module. Those adapters they sell at airports are just ugly.
You may have some trouble connecting the Airport Express. Will you be connecting at a hotel or something. Often those hotels require web-based login pages which you would not be able to configure from the Airport Utility. If you can get a plain Ethernet connection that doesn't require any additional authentication, you could just plug it in and go.
If you really had to, you could do some MAC-address spoofing to fake it out, but may be more than you want to do.

InDesign CS5 Upgrade bought in USA for use in Europe?

I've got an InDesign CS3 and want to upgrade it to CS5. The current version was purchased in the US (I live in Germany), somehow it'd worked out back in 2007 to install and use it (I had to call Adobe Support Germany.)
Would it work now if I get a CS5 Upgrade from the States?

You can use EDGE for internet access anywhere that you have cell phone reception.
You can use WiFi access only when within range of an available WiFi network that you have been granted access to - either a free WiFi network (password protected or not) such as the WiFi network at your school or via a paid WiFi network that you have paid the required fee in order to gain access.
WiFi networks have limited range - many within 150 feet or so of the wireless router which I've found to be somewhat less with the iPhone when compared to accessing the same using a laptop with wireless card but WiFi access provides much faster internet access or data transfer speed.
EDGE access is similar to a fast dial-up connection.

How do i get ipod to use old library on new hd?

I replaced the hd in my daughters computer. I had her itunes music backed up. I restored it back to its original location (which was d:\itunes). I'm using winows XP. When I installed the ipod software and itunes, it scanned the drive, didn't find her itunes directory, deleted everything on her ipod, said that her ipod was now connected to a new library, and left her with all the weird struff it could fine.
How do I sether ipod back like it was, including her purchased songs? Should i re-install?

Did you put the entire iTunes folder on a second drive? To operate with two drives, the iTunes folder and library files have to be on the primary drive while the iTunes Music folder can sit on the second drive. You then point iTunes to the new location of the Music folder in Edit>Preferences>Advanced>General. You can read about how this operate here: Moving your iTunes Music Folder

I'm from Germany. Can I purchase an iPhone in USA and then activate on T-Mobile network in Germany?

The iPhone is sold in the U.S. as carrier locked with at&t only - just as the iPhone is sold in the UK as carrier locked with O2 only, and in Germany as carrier locked with T-Mobile only.
I'm not sure about the exchange rate, but keep in mind the advertised sales price for an iPhone sold in the U.S. does not include local sales tax. Where I live, the sales tax rate is 8.25%. In some areas, the sales tax rate is higher, and some lower.
