Debian package download 404 error?

Is it me, but I can't get the download to work. My linux desktop is ubuntu, and I have the windows version of XE on my laptop, but I would REALY like to get this going on ubuntu. Is there a secret link?

Ok, that worked. Thanks!
I was looking to download it, not learn about it. So, when the link didn't work, I thought that someone at oracle would want to know their download link results in a 404 error. Maybe not, but thought I'd attempt to let someone know.

  • IPhone User Guide (iOS 7) chinese ed. download 404 errors

    It looks like all the links to chinese versions (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore) of the manuals iPhone 使用手冊.pdf are broken links.  English and Japanese are available.
    http://www.apple.com/support/country/?dest=manuals
    supposedly out Sep 20, 2013.  Were they pulled for some reason?  couldn't find a cached version in google either, only the old ones for iOS 6 were archived.

    Nobody in these forums can tell you the answer.  Presumably they will reappear when Apple is ready to make them available again.

  • [SOLVED] error 404 in package downloads

    i tried to install firefox, opera, pm-utils,polkit-gnome gvfs.
    while installation i am getting this errors as mentioned below and nothing got installed and everything is pending hence.
    1.for firefox 2 packages were not downloaded and no install happened
    2.opera not at all downloading
    3.pm utils the same like opera
    4.for polkit-gnome gvfs a few missing and thus again pending work.
    I am trying from yesterday and also did today, i am getting the same results.
    here is a snippet of one of the error .

    I am just putting one error message as it is same for the rest of all other packages. You see as above in firefox one package is pending, balance got downloaded yesterday. Similar happened in polkit-gnome gvfs . Whereas for opera and pm-utils upower nothing got downloaded at all.
    In all the 4 cases i got the same error with no downloads or partial downloads .
    Now these mirrors have been fast and best for me uptil now and no issue with them.
    So basically what these error is and what i should do about the same to complete the installation.

    Have you done pacman -Sy lately?  It may be that your database is not in sync with the mirrors, so it is trying to retrieve package versions that aren't there.
    Edit: I was too slow...
    i have done the pacman -Syu just a week back and everything is uptodate.
    @tomk
    Short answer: pacman -Syu, not pacman -S.
    Secondly do you install firefox or any other package with pacman -Syu firefox or pacman -S [packagename] ????
    i have atleast so far installed everrything with pacman -S packagename
    this is what the pacman wiki says
    Installing specific packages
    To install a single package or list of packages (including dependencies), issue the following command:
    # pacman -S package_name1 package_name2 ...
    lastly i solved the problem and the installation went right by unchecking a few more mirrors and the same went alright now.
    So for the moment i am labelling the query as solved.
    Thanks.

    Hi flangemonkey,
    that mirror was not synced yet when you did the upgrade (the last sync ended today at 10:54 UTC, about 17 mitues after you posted on this borad). It should be ok now, just try to redo the update. Next time, you may want to check first the status of the mirrors https://www.archlinux.org/mirrors/status

  • Download older version of a file from SharePoint Document Library using CSOM and 404 error

    Hi,
    I am trying to download previous versions including Major and Minor versions of documents from SharePoint Online using CSOM. I get 404 error when I try to download the file. I found several posts on various discussion forums where people are getting same
    error but none of those have any solution/answer. Below is one of the threads and sample code I have tried that results in 404 error. If I use the link in browser directly, I am able to download the file. Also I am able to download the current version of file
    using CSOM without any problem, it is only the older versions that give me 404 in CSOM.

    Hi,
    According to your description,
    I know you want to get older version of a file from SharePoint Document Library using Client Object Model.
    The following code snippet for your reference:
    public void GetVersions()
    ClientContext clientContext = new ClientContext(“http://SPSite”);
    Web site = clientContext.Web;
    clientContext.Load(site);
    clientContext.ExecuteQuery();
    File file = site.GetFileByServerRelativeUrl(“/Shared Documents/mydocument.doc”);
    clientContext.Load(file);
    clientContext.ExecuteQuery();
    ListItem currentItem = file.ListItemAllFields;
    clientContext.Load(currentItem);
    clientContext.ExecuteQuery();
    FileVersionCollection versions = file.Versions;
    clientContext.Load(versions);
    clientContext.ExecuteQuery();
    if (versions != null)
    foreach(FileVersion _version in versions)
    Console.WriteLine(“Version : {0}”,_version.VersionLabel);

    I purchased and registered (have serial number) CS3 Web premium when it was current. Now I need replacement media to re-install on new computer (Mac), but the download link on Adobe site returns a 404 error. How do I download? Can I get a CD mailed?

    no, you must download the installation files or ask someone else to download and copy to a usb or burn a disk for you.
    are you trying to download from adobe.com or prodesigntools.com?

    Cheers!

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Interesting...well, I am downloading it right now with no 404, which would I think rule out a problem at the RIM webisite end. So, the only thing I can think of is that there is something in your internet routing that is somehow blocking it. Maybe you should start over from this point:
    http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/?lid=us:bboftwareesktopSoftware&lpos=us:bboftware
    I was also going to comment that RIM does not yet support Desktop Software 7.x, but that seems to have changed sometime today!
    Good luck!

  • 404 error when downloading Oracle SQL Developer 2.1 (2.1.0.63.73) for Mac

    Greetings,
    I'm getting a 404 error when I try to download the Mac OS X version of Oracle SQL Developer. The download page is at
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/sql/index.html
    And it links to the Mac version at:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper-2.1.0.63.73-macosx.tar.gz
    Which doesn't exist.
    Is this the correct forum to report this problem?
    Thanks
    Mick

    I don't know what to say: I went to this link
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/sql_developer/index.html
    Clicked on Download in the upper right corner, re-accepted the whatever-they-wanted-me-to-accept and then the OSX download suddenly worked. Give it a spin and see if a circuit like that works for you.
    Good luck!
