Debit card information

I used my debit card to fund my first payment and everything seemed to be fine-in fact I mad a call shortly after that. Then I received an email asking for bank name and my social security number along with the normal information-don't remember if they asked for bank pin number. I didn't answer as I have had something similar happen and it was a hoax. I looked at my checking account this morning and the charge from Skype has been cancelled-what do I do.

  • I would like to delete my debit card information from all devices  associated  with it with it

I would like to remove my bank debit card information from all apple devices associated with it. I have charges to my account that I do not want to continue as I don't know where they are coming from. I need to delete all credit information as soon as possible. It has caused many a problem with my bank account. What can I do. I do not want to go to each device as I do not know which one it. I have already deleted it from two but now charges are appearing and they are not $.99  charges but $ 10.68 charges. Any help from you would be appreciated.

If you mean associated with your AppleID, you need to remove the payment method from your account: https://appleid.apple.com/

  • I want to delete my debit card information off my phone cause it no money on it, but when i get to the change payment info, i do not have a "none" button, why is that?

i need help deleting my debit card information.

    As provided:
You need a payment method. If you don't have a credit card, then redeem an iTunes gift card. You'll then get the "None" option.

  • HT201359 How do I update my debit card information

How do I update my debit card information on iTunes? My last debit card was stolen

Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store, it seems. The current valid payment methods are listed here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5552
You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.
    http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.
    Regards.

Isn't it possible to use my debit card information in payment method information?

As far as I know debit cards are no longer accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts about them being declined. Do you have any of the other payment methods that are shown for your country ?

If you can't remember your security questions go to  Express Lane , select iTunes from the list, then iTunes store.    On the next screen select account Management.    There, select iTunes store account security and write that you would like to reset your security questions and / or answers.
You should get an eMail reply over the next 24 hours.

I cannot make a purchase an app even know I have credit on account and it will not let me remove old debit card information

    Hi Lukeclear17,
The article linked below details both why you may be unable to make a purchase using the credit on your account and why you may be unable to choose "None" when editing your billing information.
Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information?

  • TS3274 Do I really need to put my debit card information to get a free app ? Why ?

Do I really need to put my debit or credit card information to get a FREE app ? Why ?

You can try removing the card in your account information, but if that credit card expired before you removed it, you might be stuck now,
Settings>Store (or iTunes & App Stores in iOS 6)>Apple ID. Tap your ID. Then tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Tap the arrow next to Payment Information and select None if it is available in your settings. See if that will work for you.
If iTunes doesn't accept that or if you didn't have None in the options, you are stuck until you enter e new card.

  • Visa Debit Card information declined

When I try to buy an app, or even verify my billing information, when I enter all the information in and click Done, some red writing appears saying 'Your payment method was declined. Please enter another payment method.' Is there any solution for this?

You can no longer use most debit cards with the iTunes/App store. You either need to use a credit card or redeem an iTunes gift card.

  • I'm trying to update my debit card information but it shows that the information i put in does not match with my bank record.

    Hi,
I replaced my old debit card with a new one. I tried to update my debit card number information. I'm pretty sure I put everything right but it showed that my credit card information does not match my bank's records. The bank has already verified my card is activated.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click “iTunes Store” in the left navigation pane. Click the “down arrow” next to your name at the top right side of the page and click “Account.” Enter your username and password and click “View Account” to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click “Edit.” Select the “None” button and click “Done.” Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.
