Debit card isn't accepted

Hello! I've recently joined Paypal and wanted to make a purchase but when I was going to add my debit card, it told me that the card I was adding had already been added to too many accounts.The thing is, I have never had a Paypal account before this one and never have I connected my card to any accounts. Although, I once made a purchase via Paypal without an account and now I cannot.. Help?

The only reason you would be getting that message is if you had created an account during the checkout when you used the card previously. I would recommend using the "forgot my password" link at the PayPal login to see if you can figure out what your credentials are and get logged in.

Its a visa delta with LLoyds Tsb I've entered all the info in correctly and triple checked it but it still tells me: Your payment method was declined. Please enter a valid payment information. I've used debit before so it should work.

What the situation was back a year ago when Hyphons posted I don't know, but debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store. The current valid payment methods are listed here:

You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.

Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.

I recently bought iPad 4 32GB but am unable to download even the the free applications, reason ITunes need me to review my account and indicate my credit card which I dont have. I only use debit card and I need to download applications otherwise my iPad becomes irrelevant. Anyone there to guide?

In countries where the iTunes Store only sells applications, the accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Other payment types such as gift cards, store credit, monthly allowances, and PayPal are not accepted. Depending on your App Store country, prices are listed in either US Dollars or Euros.
If you have a gift card you can redeem it to open an account.

Could be anything from a chargeback, or your card is junk depending on what it is. Using the word debit card isn't realy descriptive, and can many mean many, many different things.

How do i get itunes to accept my debit card. When i fist made my account everything was fine but after a few purchases it was declined, i have money in my account so i do not know why it would have been declined. My bankacount says it should go through?

I set up everything with no problems the first time. I have money in my account and i made a few purchases though the app store, then all the sudden it says my card is declined... but i havemoney in my account, it makes me try to change my billing informaton. This was changed. Apple no longer accepts debit cards as an acceptable form of payment. This Apple support page lists all accepted forms of payment.

If you don't have a credit card then are iTunes gift cards available in your country ? They are not available in all countries and they are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), so you won't be able to use those from another country.

My new credit/debit card is being rejected or doesnt match my banks records - however the bank says it is correct.
