Hi
Can any one guide me for Open Asset GR reversal.
I want to reverse the Asset GR thro' MR11 for testing. I have the following doubts.
In MR11 - After Company Code - which date has to be entered? Posting date of the GR or current date!
In Reference field I have to enter the DC/DN number
Then I have entered the PO No. in Purchsasing Document field. Is it required to enter the PO Date???
There is a Tick mark is already marked in "Delivery Surplus" - Is it required?
There is a Tick mark is already marked in "GR/IR clearing account" - I think it Is required
There is a Tick mark is already marked in "Delivery Cost Accounts" - Is it required?
Last movement before key date - which date has to be entered?
Is any other values to be entered?
Our data is given below:
PO Doc Date: 10.07.2008
Delivery Date: 21.07.2008
Posting Date: 31.08.2008
Please give few guidelines about MR11 process. How it impact both in FI and MM module.
As per my view it reverse the GR receipt entries as well as asset master entry.
Need to test few PROD data for last year open GRs after competion of above testing.
Please help me?

Login issues from sleep mode after OSX maverick update
After upgrading to OSX Maverick on my 13" MacBook Pro, I am having issues with logging in after it being in sleep mode. Everytime I close the screen to go somewhere and open it back up to continue what I was working on I type my password in (I am the only user, no other user accounts) it acts like the password is wrong and the only way to get logged in is to hold the power button down to shut the computer off then power it back up, then I can login.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
I am trying to reinstall Dreamweaver CS3 from the CD after having computer issues. Now getting error "You can only install one Adobe product at a time. Please complete the other installation before attempting to install ......." There is no other Adobe product installing. I have used the Adobe Cleaner Tool many times and uninstalled other Adobe Products but neither has worked. I have uninstalled/reinstalled this CD version of Dreamweaver several times when changing computers and after having computer issues. A google search of the problem suggested it may be an error related to the number of times I can reinstall this product due to licensing issues. Please help.
A google search of the problem suggested it may be an error related to the number of times I can reinstall this product due to licensing issues.
Absolutely not. You are misinterpreting things. The activation check never happens when just running the installer, only much later. It means what it says - there is another "install" pending/ active on your system, meaning somewhere there is an (invisible) process still blocking things. Either way, since you haven't provided any real technical info, we can't advise specifically. if you are on Windows, you may want to check your task manager and terminate any setup.exe and msiexec.exe processes plus potentially may need to manually fix/ delete some registry keys. For anything beyond that you will have to be much more specific.

After Effects CS4 project issues from English to French
Hi All,
So to give a quick summary of what our issue is, when a french AE designer (Using French AE) opened the project we had created in the UK (on English AE) he was getting errors mentioning that the xyz position preset was unavailable. After spending a lot of time on the support line to Adobe they told me that the issue is basically that the x, y, z position preset which is part of the animation we created apparently DOES NOT translate across from English language After Effects over to French language After Effects (not entirely sure why, might be that this is code based and that the French code and English codes aren't the same). Adobes only suggestion was for the french people to download a trial of the English language version of After Effects CS5 and make the amends and export using that.
Now being a stubborn so and so, I wondered what might be the cause, I'm guessing that the expression code is language specific, which led me to wonder whther it could literally be translated? So in english the expression is:
value + [effect("Separate XYZ Position")("X Position"), effect("Separate XYZ Position")("Y Position"), effect("Separate XYZ Position")("Z Position")]
Does anyone have French AE installed that could give us a clue to what the equivelent french expressions would be?
Many thanks
MikeYou should not need to take care of anything else. The internal references, functions and variable names are always English. Only the UI-centric stuff will change, that is the effect name and its control parameter, i.e. ("Slider") will become ("Curseur") in French. You could also avoid this by simply using the control index value instead of the control parameter, so ("Slider") would simply be (1), as it's the only control element. now that I think of it, just yesterday I saw an internationalizer script at AEScripts com that might be of use to you, too. If you have something odd, simply post the code and I'll have a look (or our resident Frenchmen here on this forum, Sébastien Perrier) .

Welcome to the Support Communities! The error message you posted indicates a possible firmware update is needed for iTunes for Windows to work with your CD drive.
iTunes for Windows: Updating the firmware on your CD or DVD drive - Apple Support
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201852
Having outdated firmware can cause issues using CDs and DVDs with iTunes for Windows. Firmware is a type of software stored in a chip in hardware that can sometimes be updated.Identifying drives and firmware versions
To run CD Diagnostics, follow the steps in this document.
After following the steps to run CD Diagnostics linked above, look at section three to find out more about your optical drive(s).
Here is an example of what section three might look like:
In this example there are two drives. Drive E is a Samsung DVD-ROM drive with a model designation of SD-616 that has firmware version F000. Drive F is an NEC drive with a model designation of NR-7900A that has firmware version 1.08.Updating the firmware
If the optical drive you are using came with your computer, check with the support site for your computer for a firmware update. Typically you will need to go to the support website for the computer maker and click on a "downloads" or "updates" link, and then enter your computer model designation and operating system version to see what updates are available. Then look through the available updates for a firmware update for your optical drive. Download the updater and run it. If you need assistance applying the update, contact the maker of your computer.
If the optical drive you are using came as a separate part (was not included with a computer), check the support site for the drive maker for a firmware update. Sometimes the manufacturer is not clear in the CD Diagnostics results. In that case, you may just have to search the Internet for the drive model designation. You can usually find out who made the drive by looking through the results of such a search. Once you have identified who made your drive, go to the support website for that company. Look for a "downloads" or "updates" link, and then enter your optical drive model designation. Download the updater and run it. If you need assistance applying the update, contact the maker of the optical drive.Verifying that the firmware was updated
Run CD Diagnostics again.
Examine the CD Diagnostics results. The firmware version for the drive should be the new version.

Also, you mentioned that you have been successful burning a CD with the Windows OS. Make sure that you have closed all software programs that can access the CD burner so that there isn't a conflict for the drive. Sometimes chaning the burn speed from "maximum" to 8x can also help in this situation.
I hope this information helps ...

HELP... Since last week, I can not awake from sleep. After reading a review I downloaded Deep Sleep, but after the first deep sleep, my MBP (late 2011 with Mountain Lion), developed a problem restarting from sleep. I straight away uninstalled Deep Sleep, but the problem has increased.
Now when I try to awake from sleep, a grey screen with the apple logo appears with a progress bar underneath it, which slowly moves to the forelast indicator, then it stops and a audio signal starts. Three bleeps and pause.
Then when I press the on/off botton and restart the system, the underneath error reports appears with the heading RAPPORTD unexpectedly failed.
Can any one help?

How do I stop Firefox from playing video after I navigate from the page or leave Firefox?
Simple and annoying. . Extremely frustrating issue with Firefox for Android. ..
I watch a YouTube video or any flash video. . And after I hit play, the ONLY way to stop it is to hit pause or let it play to the end or close the tab. .
It will NOT automatically stop if I open another tab. or if I navigate from Firefox. .
I feel this is a very basic feature. Did I set something up that was wrong?
Can I ask two questions?
I have another extremely annoying and frustrating problem with Firefox for Android.
The "top" (if you pull down the tabs) search bar DOES NOT allow my stock Samsung keyboard to auto space. . Thus instead of typing
"How do I stop Firefox from playing video after I navigate from the page or leave Firefox?"
I'll type in
"HowdoIstopFirefoxfromplayingvideoafterInavigatefromthepageorleaveFirefox?"
Unless I manually got the space bar.
Using a recently factory data reset Samsung Galaxy s4 active.. android 4.2.2 and stock Samsung keyboard ... Firefox 34.0.1
Thanks in advanced.
Ps
I was a hardcore xscope user for years and just recently gave in to Firefox when i lost all my bookmarks due to a forced factory data reset. .I'm using a different keyboard which works fine in the most top search bar...
I cannot believe that it's not a feature.
What if I was watching a video and wanted to shut it off quickly? I'll have to hit back? Wait for the previous screen to load then hit the power button?
Please tell me that feature ids soon to come -
Hard Drive dead? - Failed to Issue COM RESET successfully after 3 attempts.
Hello, i think my 13" 2.53Ghz Unibody (mid2009) MBP's hard drive has had it's last spin. I was using it normally in bootcamp, when windows7 froze, so I rebooted holding the power button....windows wouldnt start any more...ok, so i tried to boot into OSX...stuck at the loading screen with the apple.
Went into verbose mode and it stops at "Failed to issue COM RESET successfully after 3 attempts. Failing..." Google says this has to do with the hard drive.
Did a extensive hardware test (boot + D), all OK, booted from install disk and tried to run disk utility, but it crashed when trying to locate the drives (didn't even list the drive on the right pane). Single User mode wont load either, will give the same COM RESET message. I am literally out of options here.
Is there something i can do to either fix this or verify 100% that my hard disk is truly dead?
I have a backup in timemachine so the data is ok, but the timing couldnt be worse, i have no time to fix this now and needed a working laptop, highly frustrating.
thanks for any tipsnobrex wrote:

Welcome to the Apple Forums!
Your HDD is probably dead, since the error doesn't appear to indicate something wrong with the motherboard. Just buy a new 2.5" HDD. I don't know about prices in Brazil, but here in the US, a 1TB drive runs for around US$100. Also, check on eBay for people who upgraded their drive and are selling their Apple drive. Some will ship to Brazil, and you can score those for $50-100.
I hope you backed up your hard drive. If not, you'll have to do the whole reinstallation process. -
Issue of Text Qualiffier after upgrading to SQL Server 2014 Standard
Hi,
I'm facing an issue of Text Qualifier after I upgrading my system to SQL Server 2014 Standard Edition (Microsoft SQL Server 2014 - 12.0.2000.8 (X64)
Feb 20 2014 20:04:26
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.3 <X64> (Build 9600: ) (Hypervisor)
I have a csv file with format: Text Qualifier is double pipes ||, Vertical Bar (|) as Column Delimiter and Row Delimiter is CRLF.
For example file:
||Col1|||||Col2||
||ABC|||||XYZ||
This file is working OK in SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) but it does not work in SQL Server 2014. It raised error message while running.
Error: An error occurred while skipping data rows.
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on MediaAgencyGroup returned error code 0xC0202091. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure
code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
Any suggestion here?
Thanks,Yes
There's a difference in the way text qualifiers are parsed from 2012 onwards

Failed to issue COM RESET successfully after 3 attempts. Failing...
Just in case anyone else has this problem, and wants to claw their eyes out.
I upgraded the Hard Disk in my MacBook Pro about four days ago (the new MBP, summer 2009 with SD card). I installed a Hitachi Travelstar 7K320. It worked awesome for about four days, until I went to run the EFI Firmware Update this morning.
My machine stopped booting. I held Command-V to get the verbose boot output, and eventually got the message: Failed to issue COM RESET successfully after 3 attempts. Failing... - which is where the boot halted.
I removed the Hitachi and restored the stock drive, and the laptop now booted fine. I think it's something Apple will have to look into.I believe posting relevant facts is productive, & a very relevant fact here is that you are trying to use a drive with an interface (SATA-II) that Apple does not currently support in its laptops.
SATA-I controllers are supposed to be compatible with SATA-II drives, but many of them are not. The problem is how some controllers implement auto negotiation, which is supposed to tell the drive to fall back to SATA-1 speeds with the slower controllers. Some SATA-II drives have a jumper to force the slower speed if auto negotiation doesn't work; some do not.
How this compatibility problem came about, & why the jumper is required, is complicated but the short version is that at least four different specification bodies had some responsibility in producing SATA specifications, & not all controllers were designed to the same standards. This includes not just the controllers Apple has been using but those in many PC's as well.
So I agree that Apple dropped the ball, but not necessarily the way you might think: it should have made it very clear that the firmware update implemented an unsupported interface speed, that it might cause problems, & (most importantly) provided a reversion strategy to the former firmware if it did.
Hopefully, Apple will take another 'swing' at this & either provide that reversion strategy or a new update that at least allows the controller to work more reliably with the faster interface. But until then, unless your drive has the jumper, my previous suggestion is probably the best you can do.
BTW, none of the current mechanical drives available for laptops can saturate a SATA-1 bus except for brief bursts from the drive's buffer, so the real loss in performance of running a single SATA-II drive at SATA-1 speeds is almost negligible, something you might notice in a benchmark but not in real-world use. -
E payment should be enabled so that the user could make payment directly from SAP and after the payment is verified ,approved and authorized by the concerned users responsible the payment should be electronically transferred to the payee’s bank account through our bank.
Thanks,
I usually use the OS connection option. So as you suggest, connect without the ISP connection software. Doing so does not by-pass the sudo command being active in Activity Monitor however.
On reading my post I see my failure to link the concerns of the laptop purchase with the sudo and modem. My thought here is of an intersection of known vulnerability with this widely used modem/software (via permanent sudo process activated) and that vulnerability then being known and utilised by another party(s).
I am pursuing the issue in part with consideration to a broader possible issue of vulnerability.
Thanks again for your thoughts and suggestions. Valued. -

If you actually bothered to read my post, you would see that I decided to change for the X220 after I saw it in the flesh and realised how much close it was to the X121s dimensions. If lenovo wishes this not to happen very often, they should bother do something about the fact that there is no Lenovo dealership/agent/representative in Oxford.
2nd.
If Lenovo lists paypal as payment method, they should honour it. Otherwise, do not list it at all.
3rd.
If lenovo says that I can cancel the day I ordered with no implication, they should also honour this. Not ignore my e-mails (contrary to the terms & conditions stated) and ship it so I can perhaps keep it. That's not good business practice. That's playing dumb.
They had 5 days to cancel, they prefered to wait for the item to be produced/stocked so that they can ship it to a small hamlet in Oxfordshire (half the way around the globe) so I can send it back. So yeah, this little laptop will circumvent the Earth.
If this is not wasteful, then what is?
As far as I am concerned, it took me 10 telephone calls and to DR just to get the cancellation e-mail which should be sent immediately.
If you do not value your time, it is your problem, not mine.
I will not be buying a Mac either as I do not like the product, but the difference in service couldn't be more stark.
All the best,

My early 2008 Macbook Pro is suffering from black screen after Yosemite update
My early 2008 Macbook Pro is suffering from black screen after Yosemite update. It ran beta 5 great but failed on restart after beta 6 install. There is no cursor but I can hear the HDD spooling up. I have tried booting in safe mode, PRAM reset and SMC reset but nothing works. After the first 5 days of every now and then trying to start it, it started fine. I used the machine all day with no problems, it had rolled back the install and was back on beta 5. I decided to try the update again, the same thing happened and it has stayed black for over a week now. It wont work with a monitor either. Help!
Hello Adam,
I would try instead of installing the beta software, to install the official build of OS X Yosemite from the Mac App Store to see if that gets you passed the no video issue when updating the beta software.
How to install OS X Yosemite on your Mac
