Hi.. If it is Customer Debit / Credit Notes then you can take document numbers from FB03 Document list by giving document types DR and DG in selection screen
This DR and DG doc types can be taken from FBL5N also by giving document type in dynamic selections

Royalty Debit note assigning

Hi all,
I have a smart form designed by abaper as per the Royalty Debit note requirement.And now I want to assign this Smart form in f-22 t-code to see the Royalty for the customer with the document type.
For my client there are three types of incomes one is
Royalty
Franchisee fees
and sales.
with the document type I can find out the Royalty for a customer in f-22.
So please tell me whether there is any standard form for this Royalty debit note in f-22?
If not then tell me how to assign this smart form in f-22 t- code .
or else can we assign this form to the correspondance types created.
I was trying to assign this form to correspondance type and am getting an error as '' FORM IS NOT DEFINED OR NOT ACTIVE"

Check your configuration.
Please follow the following steps:
IMG ==> Financial Accounting ==> Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables ==> Customer Accounts ==> Line Items ==> Correspondence ==> Make and Check Settings for Correspondence
Define Correspondence Types
Create Report Variants for Correspondence
Assign Programs for Correspondence Types
Define Form Names for Correspondence Print (even you assign your form to blank company code also)
If you complete these steps you will get the spool request get generated.
You go to FB12 - request for the statement
then go to F.61
Then go to SP02 - Take print out.

Debit Note for custmer

how we have to rise a debit Note for custmer ( Example: suppose invoice has been posted and for that invoice we can't change the rate in it., if the rate of an item is increase.

Manual Journal Entry lead to incorrect Sale Analysis Report.
So, the best solution(which I use now) is to create A/R Invoice with service type. And , create it in separate series apart from normal A/R Invoice Series.
for example.
1. create Series "DB Note" in document numbering series of A/R Invoice which is numbered from10000001 to 20000000
2. create A/R Invoice service type and choose Series "DB Note"

Debit Note query

Hello everyone,
Yes I know once again with a query related problem/question...
We've migrated to SBO 8.8 and have started having problems with the sales analysis report, As You know, in Mexico's taxes increased 1% in 2010 we had to create debit notes for that 1% for all 2009 unpayed invoices, it's those debit notes I'm trying to find.
I did get the query to give me the info I need, the only problem is that if I click on the link/arrow to the document number, SAP opens the INVOICE 56 (for example, it happens with all the results) instead of DEBIT NOTE 56, even though the results have been filtered to show only Debit Notes.
Here's the query I created
SELECT T0.DocNum, T0.DocDate, T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T1.TaxCode, T0.VatSum, T0.DocSubType

I do realize that both Invoices and Debit Notes are related to the OINV table, in this case the T0.DocSubType helped me filter to ger only Debit Notes as a result, but what do I have to do so make the link/arrow direct me to the DEBIT NOTE X, instead of INVOICE X?

FI Debit Note (interest on arrears) printed immediately

We've activated interest calculation on arrears. We use t-code FINT.
The system automatically posts a debit note and prints interest calculation detail.
What we would like was the following: while running fint we'd like to obtain simultaneously debit note print and interest calculation detail. At the moment we can only print debit note later through F.65.

Dear Nikhil,
Thank you again for your suggestion. At first, I was thinking of two independent forms because we're already printing debit notes, they've been developed in sapscript and i did not intended to create a new form in smart forms. So, that was the reason i wanted to obtain the prints through two different transactions - we print debit notes through f.62.
I've already talked to our programmer to see if he could change the smart form in order to obtain simultaneously debit note and interest doc detail. We just have to be sure that all the information is there.
It is a great tip and we'll try that way.

Difference between invoice and debit note

what is the difference between invoice and a debit note.
If I underinvoice a customer, should I raise a additional invoice for the difference or shud i raise a debit note. if i need to raise debit note, then why not invoice or if i need to raise an invoice, then why not a debit note

Debit note is generally used to issue an invoice for already sold goods w/o physical goods movement involved.
If raw material prices increases which are utilized in production of Finished goods. then the business will submit the relevant documents as proof at customer.
Once Customer is accepted, then price increase effective date will be finalized , Then business issues debit note request for the required material & its converted into debit note. ( all this will be done, based on agreement with the Customer). Generally this scenario is most widely used in Manufacturing / Automobile industry.
where as, If invoice is created with less price than actual, you dont need to create debit note, instead you can either Cancel this invoice or create Invoice Correction request.

Debit Note to be raised in A/P Invoice, How?

Dear Experts,
My requirement might look strange to you all. I explain my business flow.
It is connected with Service PO. We issue N kgs of Raw Materials to a Service Provider. He confirms to perform the service to a Rate of Rs. R per Kg. If he returns the whole quantity of Finished Goods i.e N Kgs - Acceptable Process loss and charges a service bill for the confirmed Rs. R or less, I do not have any problem. I could generate A/P invoice without disturbing the flow.
But there are cases, in which the service provider would return Finished Quantity less than N Kgs-Acceptable Process Loss and/or charges more price higher than the confirmed Rate of Rs. R per kg.
In such situations, I need to pass the bill, but I must raise a debit note either for Balance Raw Material that he retains or for the Excess amount he charged.
I need this to happen, when I raise A/P invoice. How to accomplish this?
Please help.

Hi Anand,
If your are talking about the second flow that is reduce in KGs of finished good in that case you have to make the entry as Goods Issue towards the production loss and print the good issue as the Debit Note for this you have to customize some more information that is the Vendor code ghas to be linked and the P.O number (work order/ Job Work Number has to link here) so that you can print the customer name and other details in the debit note.
if you talk about the excess amount codeed by the vendor you can incorporate the things in A/p Invoice itself.

We have recently upgraded our WSUS server to Windows 2012 R2. Now none of the PCs reporting their status to the WSUS server and not getting updates at all. The PCs are contacting the Server but not reporting their status. Stopped the Firewall on Client and
Server. BITS and windows updates services are running.
Record the system time of the Windows 7 client.
Reboot the Windows 7 client.
Run this command from a command prompt: wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow.
Wait =30= minutes.
Performed the above steps. Please see the updates logs from a client.

Don thank you for the reply.
But I do have the same issue on the other PCs as well on which WMI is good. And also i pointed the above PC to my primary WSUS server which is running windows 2003 and it reported successfully and downloaded the approved updates.
please see the below logs from the same PC after pointing to our wsus running on win2003.
