A Debit note actually translates to Debiting the BP and usually a Customer. So, you could import them as a Service type AR Invoice. Invoices template should be used.

Error while executing Initialize with Data Transfer for 0FI_GL_10

Hello All,
Post Pre prod refresh, our timestamp for the datasource 0FI_GL_10 got reset. Due to which our deltas did not bring any records to the BW system.
First we did an Initialize without data transfer for all the BW related datasources. The deltas were then set properly for all datasources except 0FI_GL_10.
We then raised a message to SAP and they suggested to run the 'Initialize with data transfer' for 0FI_GL_10 so that the timestamp is set and accordingly the deltas are fixed.
The issue now is we are getting the following error message while running INIT with data transfer.
Job terminated in source system --> Request set to red
Message no. RSM078
We have copied the data till July 1st week of 2011.
Please advice. The issue is very critical.

    Termination occurred in the ABAP program "GP_GLX_FAGLFLEXT" - in
     "FETCH_TO_ISTRUCTURE".
    The main program was "SBIE0001 ".
    In the source code you have the termination point in line 903
    of the (Include) program "GP_GLX_FAGLFLEXT".
    The program "GP_GLX_FAGLFLEXT" was started as a background job.

Hi Experts,
1. Please tell me where the data comes when we do the
    following actions :-
    a) Init with data transfer
    b) Full load
i want to know the source of data i.e (setup table or main table or any other table)
Helpful if you can provide the data-flow.

Hi.......
When you do init with data transfer it will read data from the set up table only..........but beside this it will also set the init flag..........due to this from next time any new records will go to the delta queue...........and next time when you run delta load it will pick records from delta queue...........
Now suppose data are alrady available in the BW side...........then you can run init without data transfer.......this will only set the init flag.........it will not pick any records.........
Extraction structure gets data from set up table in case of full upload ............and in case of delta load from delta queue.......

Diff between init with data transfer and repair full request

hi,
i have observed that even in the new flow we are doing init without data transfer and then repair full request
if i do init with data transfer also i can achieve the same?
i want to know why we need to do this ,do we have any advantage of doing init without transfer and repair full request?

Hi Venkat,
A repair full request is loaded in cases where you get erroneous records or where there are missing records which you want to load. In such cases, a repair full request for the selective records can be loaded and is the most efficient way to correct the data, since you won't be required to load the entire data once again. Also you acheive the desired result without disturbing the delta. (You are not required to do an init w/o data transfer after a repair full, people just do it a a precaution)
However, repair full requests should only be loaded to infoproviders with update mode 'overwrite'. Otherwise, if the InfoProvider, its very probable that you might double the value of the key-figures due to rows being added twice - in case of an InfoProvider with update mode 'Additive'. So, if your InfoProvider is additive, you will need to delete the entire data and do an 'init with data transfer' to avoid corrupting the data. (Note: you can do a repair full request for an additive infoprovider in case of lost records or if you can delete erroneous records with selective deletion.But you have to be careful with the selections lest you inadvertently load other records than required and corrupt the data)

Problems with data transfer to CEN via SAPCCM4X agent

Hello!
We are facing with the the following problem with data transfer since we installed SAPCCM4X agent:
- new alerts can only be seen within alert history
- old alerts cannot be deleted
We checked the agents via RZ21 and also the appropriate log files do not get further information.
When we stop the SACCM4X agents and the monitoring data is representing via RFC connection everything is ok.
Can some one help to solve this problem?

Initialize Delta Process with Data Transfer - Split the job in two/three

Hello,
I am trying to load master data into BI (DEV) and there are 700,000 master data records in my source system. When I tried to load Initialize Delta Process with data transfer, at some point (after 300,000 records) my load failed in source system and job log I found that this issue "ABAP/4 processor: TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY"
When I informed this issue to BASIS consultant, they suggest me to split the job in 3 (Three). My question: how can I split the job in three? I can do one Initialize Delta Process load and followed by delta load.

Hi Md.
Even at Infopackage level you can reduce the number of records per package.
Go to Infopackage Schedular Menu -> DataS. Default Data Transfer. you can reduce the Maximum size of a data packet in kByte.

Debit Note against stock transfer to sale depot

It is required to raise a debit note in favour of sale depot of our company. Only excise values should be effected not quantity. can we set material value during stock transfer. is their any provision to do this work. if so kindly elaborate the solution.

I want to discuss my requirement in details
From our plant material are sent to sale depot from where despatches are done.
after some days when it require debit note are issued to customers who get material thru sale depot due to price diff.
supplementary invoice need to be generated in favour of sale depot against stock transfer in which only excise value need to effected neither sale value nor stock inventory. against this supplementary invoice, debit note will be raised to customers.
i need to make supplementary invoice with same quantity as per previous invoice (actual invoice) but there should not be any stock movement . if it exist double stock will be transfer against single invoice.
i have made a solution but it will not show actual quantity, which i need.
i hope u will understand my query. if there is any solution, kindly provide. thanks in advance.

Iphoto problem with data transfer

I just got the new Macbook and had a data transfer done from my old Ibook. However not all of my photos migrated over, or at least it appears that way. When I open Iphoto there is the information for these photos but with a blank image. Is there anyway I can get the images from another source in my computer or should I just try and copy and transfer those pictures again from my old computer?

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

TDMS4HCM - problem with Data Transfer

Hello,
When I am executing Start Data Transfer step system ends up with error - "Execution of program /1CADMC/OLC_000000000144318 failed, return code 2" or Z_PA0022_014: Function module "/1CADMC/OLO_000000000093370" notfound. For each table (f.ex. PA0000, PA0001, ..., or HRP1000, etc.) system generates such error message.
I tried to change Write Behaviour (all available options) but it doesn't resolve the problem.
Have you ever had such problem?

Hi Harmeet,
The system was installed on sender and receiver system and it was running. The problem appeared when basis team perform system copy from production to test environment. Client which was used for TDMS was deleted so basis had to recreate it. from that point I have the problem. No additional settings where done for TDMS on receiver system afterwards.
In the receiver system we have installed add-ons: DMIS, DMIS_CONT and DMIS_HR (tdms and sender systems were not changed).
Should we install something else on receiver syst.?

Issues with data transfer / connectivity

Hi,
I bought a Curve 8320 last week and activated BIS. The issue that I am facing is:
- Mails do not get delivered and connectivity to the internet is lost even though the data signal (EDGE) is available. I can see an upload arrow flashing on the right top corner
- What I have noticed is that the connectivity gets resumed when I do any of the following:
a. Switch on WiFi (immediately the data connection starts receiving and sending messages and internet connectivity is resumed). Even after switching off the WiFi, it works fine
b. Switch off the device and restart
Can someone help me? Please let me know if you need any more details.

You can try using FExplorer and using it to delete the file C:\system\shareddata\101ff93b.ini from the phone. It should reset the Data Transfer app.

Debit note with taxes..

Any debit note have taxes, if reversed with tax code instead of V0, excise GLs are reversed but in that case is it compulsory to reverse those values thru J1IS toou2026..
