December 2008 comes before January 2008

Time machine has a great feature of being able to restore files by scrolling back in time. One problem Time Machine lists December 2007 as December 2008!

The year shows for November and January for my white line labels but there is no year for December. I think there must be some sort of bug for the December label. It can be reported via Apple Care or through Feedback.

My Time Machine backups, however, are all dated correctly when I looked at the folders in the finder.

  • Get like 1st January 2008 OR 14th December 2008 in ABAP..

    Hi Friends,
    We need to generate a letter in Smartform and get date like 1st January 2008  OR 14th December 2008. Are there any function modules for this in SAP, where we can supply date like 01/01/2008 and FM should return back 1st January 2008  ?
    We found function module MONTH_NAMES_GET which will return like January, February but we did not know how to get like 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on.
    Any help is appreciated and rewarded.

    There are no function modules to do exactly what you want, the one which comes close is CONVERSION_EXIT_IDATE_OUTPUT
    You can though right your own perform of the sort as below, which I am pasting from internet
    FORM set_text_date.
    DATA: month(9),
          year(4),
          date(2).
    CASE p_frd+4(2).
    WHEN '01'.
      month = 'January'.
    WHEN '02'.
      month = 'February'.
    WHEN '03'.
      month = 'March'.
    WHEN '04'.
      month = 'April'.
    WHEN '05'.
      month = 'May'.
    WHEN '06'.
      month = 'June'.
    WHEN '07'.
      month = 'July'.
    WHEN '08'.
      month = 'August'.
    WHEN '09'.
      month = 'September'.
    WHEN '10'.
      month = 'October'.
    WHEN '11'.
      month = 'November'.
    WHEN '12'.
      month = 'December'.
    WHEN OTHERS.
    ENDCASE.
    WRITE p_frd+0(4) TO year.
    WRITE p_frd+6(2) TO date.
    CONCATENATE month date ',' year INTO return_date SEPARATED BY space.
    CONDENSE return_date.

  • Why won't iTunes allow my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 to play 176.4/24 AIFF files created in December of 2014 and January of 2015, but will allow my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 to play 176.4/24 AIFF files created before December of 2014?

    When I buy and download high resolution music files (FLAC and DSD), I convert them to AIFF files and add them to my iTunes music library.  Specifically, I have been converting DSD64 files to 176.4/24 AIFF files.  These AIFF files (modified in some respects by iTunes) have been synched to my old iPhone 5 and new iPhone 6.  Until December, every 176.4/24 AIFF file played as expected.  In December, I purchased two DSD64 albums, which I converted to 176.4/24 AIFF files using AudirvanaPlus 1.5.  These 176.4/24 AIFF files will not play on either iPhone.  When I converted those DSD64 albums to 88.2/24 AIFF files, they played on both iPhones.  In December, I also purchased several 192/24 FLAC albums and converted them to 192/24 AIFF files using Amarra HiFi.  These 192/24 AIFF files play properly on both iPhones.
    Why won't iTunes allow my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 to play 176.4/24 AIFF files created in December of 2014 and January of 2015, but will allow my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 to play 176.4/24 AIFF files created before December of 2014?

    I have a similar problem and have spent three sequential days at the Apple Genius Bar before we were able to exclude most other possibilities and found that certain files (in my case all mp3s from CDs I own) that play just fine in iTunes 11.0.1 and that used to play in iOS 6.0.1 do not play in iOS 6.1. We restored the phone to factory settings and synced only a few of the music files that were problematic. They still did not play. We reproduced the problem on my iPad mini (iOS6.1).
    Apple Telephone Support suggestion was to convert all mp3 files in iTunes to AAC (which according to Apple Website may degrade sound quality). No further suggestions or escalation but a recommendation to place comments on www.apple.com/feedback and, if there are enough complaints, someone at Apple might take an interest in this problem. Something has changed in iOS 6.1 where files that played on prior mobile system software no longer work.
    Apple, please pay attention to this glitch with iOS 6.1.

  • VAT rate changes in Ireland on goods from 1st December 2008

    Dear SAP Experts,
    The standard rate of VAT will be increased from 21% to 21.5% with effect from 1 December, 2008 in Ireland.
    This means all IT systems dealing with VAT should be able to cope with that change.
    My client is a retail organization and operates in Ireland as well. They have SAP as their main system. Any ideas what is the best way to achieve that in SAP i.e. modify the existing VAT code or create a new VAT code etc etc + implications...
    Any help would be much appreciated. If SAP has any recommended approach for dealing this type of situation, please share it.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sanjeev

    Hi,
    The recommended approach is to create a new code and not modifying the old one. You can read note 94636 for further info (it concerns Germany, but the concept is the same).

  • ICal wiki giving infamous 210 error but ONLY for December 2008

    I have iCal server up and running for a client, it's been working fine, until she started adding in content for December 2008. Whenever you go to the display for December 2008 (month view) or the Nov 30-Dec 6 Week view (logged in or not). You get the:
    Error from server: Error processing calendar data (210)
    it ONLY affects this display (as far as I can tell) You can go to all other months/weeks without the error. I've gone as far ahead as Dec. 2010 without duplicating the error.
    My initial thinking was that there is an event that overlaps the previous week/month view (lasts from Nov 24-Nov 30). I tried to separate it up into individual dates (i.e. Nov 30th's all-day event is a separate entry from Nov 29th's), but that didn't seem to solve the problem.
    HELP!

    Hi,
    Thanks very much for the reply, and yes when I change some to all be on the 80 port it does work. I just don't understand why the wikid server doesn't allow the port shift.
    Now maybe my understanding of DNS and certificates is not good enough but I am not aware of how I can have multiple domains under ssl and have them each served a different certificate if they're all at 443? is that not allowed anyhow?
    This is one of my reasons for the port shifting... the others were I just got in the habit of it. I can put "some" back to 80 to fix that issue.
    But does anyone know of a way to get it to work with the shifted ports, 443, 8443, 8043, 80**, etc.
    if not I'm guessing I can only have one wiki under ssl - is this right?
    Thanks,
    chris

  • I don't want to allow a user to enter a date that is before January 2014

    I don't want to allow a user to enter a date that is before January 2014. I want to restrict users from entering a date that is or prior to December 31, 2013 in a date field. Is this possible?

    Seems like it is a little more complicated just to create a new Date() object in livecycle...
    the way I found to create a new Date() object is using the dateTimeEdit pattern to be 'date{EEEE, MMMM D, YYYY}'
    then u can create a new Date
    var date1 = new Date(DateTimeField1.editValue);
    date1.getTime();
    or
    you can also click the following link and download the pdf from the blog...
    Adobe LiveCycle Designer Cookbooks by BR001: Date handling in Livecycle Designer ES forms
    using XFADate object make it easy to manipulate dates with javascript
    The XFADate object created by BR001 is very good but to be able to see if a date is prior to another date you can just add this function in the object script..
    you can add that function at line 200...
    that.isPriorTo = function(date) {
         var toDate = newDate(date);
         if (isNaN(this) || isNaN(toDate)){
              return false;
         } else{
              var interval = this.getTime() - toDate.getTime();
              if (interval > 0){
                   return false;
              } else{
                   return true;
    To use that function above you can just use this code:
    if (XFADate.newDate(dateFrom).isPriorTo(DateTo)){
         //dateFrom is prior to dateTo
    hope this help

  • How do I change the paragraph format of paragraphs that comes before a list of bullets in one shot

    I receive word documents to convert to indesign files based on a template. I have a set of find and replace queries that do most of the work.
    The manual work I am doing is as follows:
    Changing the paragraph style of all body copy that comes before before bullets
    Changing the paragraph style of last bullets and last subbullets
    What is the simplest way of changing the paragraph styles of every body copy before a list of bullets.
    I am doing more and more of these on a daily basis and would REALLY appreciate some insight.
    Not sure if this can only be done in a script.
    Hope that made sense.
    Thanks.

    spktrm11 wrote: Thanks for the response. I already have established styles. I have a style for "last bullet" and one for "bullets before last". I am trying to do a find and replace so I don't have to individually change the paragraph style of every last bullet.  Document: Paragraph Text. (I want to be able to find this specific paragraph, which would be any paragraph before a bullet and change its style.)
    bullet text
    bullet text
    bullet text
    bullet text (I want to be able to find this specific bullet (bullet text) and replace it with (last bullet))
    Paragraph Text
    I want to avoid having to go through the document to change the style of every last bullet that i find manually. I would like to find (based on it's position - any bullet that is followed by a paragraph)
    Hope this makes more sense
    Have you considered following lists with a "paragraph after list" style, like your paragraph before list style? This might be more appropriate for authors to apply while they create content. The idea is that all list items use a single style, so that rearranging items within the list doesn't require retagging the first or last list paragraph to adjust space or numbering when the first or last item is moved into the list.
    If this is a common problem in your work, you might want to post a feature request for smarter paragraph styles that can detect whether they're first, last, or interior list items, and adjust their properties as appropriate to their position. You can post your request here: wish

  • Is there a way to make the #'s and symbols come before the letter A?

    So say I wanted the 13th Floor Elevators to come before AC/DC, not after ZZ Top on itunes and my ipod and stuff. Is there a way to make that happen? On the old version of itunes it was automatically like that, but they changed it.
    Also, would this work on songs and albums too?

    You can adjust how iTUnes sorts albums by editing the sort fields for the affected albums.

  • Message Split Comes Before Mapping

    Hi,
    Can anybody explains the following queries....
    1.Why Message Split Comes Before Mapping in Pipeline Steps?
    2.What do you mean by Collaborative Profile and Collaborative Agreement?
    3.What are Context Path, Context Object and Context Handling?
    4.Which adpaters run on j2ee engine and which run on ABAP stack.
    5.What is the need of datatype when we are creating the message type
    6. and similarly what is the use of Business system when we are creating the corresponding Technical system
    Thanks n Advance.,
    Stallin

    >>1.Why Message Split Comes Before Mapping in Pipeline Steps?
    Simple. Imagine you have 2 receivers with different mappings. If this has to work correct, XI needs to copy of the source msg for doing the mapping. rite?
    >> 2.What do you mean by Collaborative Profile and Collaborative Agreement?
    Collaborative profile -->Serivce with out party and service and all the commn channels you create for it.
    Collaborative agreement -->Sender & Receiver agreements, that bind your cc with the interface.
    >> 3.What are Context Path, Context Object and Context Handling?
    Context path- It is Xpath expressions I guess. It is used for specifying conditions in receiver determination and interface determination.
    Context Objects -- Used for the same.It reduces the complex Xpath expressions.
    >>4.Which adpaters run on j2ee engine and which run on ABAP stack.
    All adapters are part of j2ee frame work except IDOC and HTTP adapters. You dont need sender agreements for the 2.
    5.What is the need of datatype when we are creating the message type
    To get the valid XML structure.
    6. and similarly what is the use of Business system when we are creating the corresponding Technical system
    Tech systems -->Physical entiteis
    Buss Systems --> Logical entities.

  • Street line formating issue (number comes before the street name)

    Hello everyone,
    I have an issue regarding formatting of the street line - when I include an address field (say in Smartforms) the street number comes before the street name. This would be according to USA standards, but I need it to be formatted by the EU standards (street name, and then the number). Also, where ever we have an address attached (SU01, customer/vendor master recs, purchase orders, etc) we get the same issue.
    So, now it is: "1234 MyStreetName", but I need it to come as "MyStreetName 1234".
    I have tried SA10, SA09, OY01 (and all the other customizing I could find), none of which had worked. The strange thing is that in our IDES system, it is displayed as it should be (name - number).
    I can't find where this is preconfigured in IDES, so if anyone can suggest I would be very gratefull + points will be awarded for all the helpfull answers.
    Best regards,
    SD.

  • TOC which account for what comes before it

    I'm trying to create a TOC (Table of Contents) which can also account for what comes BEFORE it. (And not only the sections which follow it).Anyone has an idea?

    Pages TOC will only index what comes after it.
    You could perhaps add any prior items manually.

  • My MacBook pro says clock is set to date before January 1 2008

    How I I get my MacBook pro to rese to the correct time? It has done this before and when restarted it is back to normal. It seems to happen when the battery goes dead. This time it won't correct the problem itself.

    It seems to happen when the battery goes dead
    When you lose power to the clock chip, it cannot remember the time.
    System preferences > Date&Time > ...
    ... will allow you to set the Data & Time again. Check your Time Zone and that a sensible format (e.g., US, Canada, or UK if that is where you live) is selected, and NOT Custom.

  • What cable do I need in order to migrate from Macbook Pro (December 2008) to the new Macbook Pro with Retina display?

    It's driving me crazy; I have a firewire, but it isn't compatible with the ports on the new macbook pro with retina display.
    Thanks for your help!

  • My files no longer sort properly - files beginning with AEIOU come before

    My files no longer sort properly - files beginning with AEIOU come first after numbers and special characters, then letters H, K, M-N, P, W, B-D and so on. I click on the column header again and it reverses the sort, but still messed up. This convoluted sort appears in all views. All the letters are grouped together, so all the "a"s, "e"s, etc are being sorted by some algorithm, but it's not alphabetical. I noticed it after installation of Snow Leopard, but it could have been that way before. I did a wipe and load and just imported user settings from Time Machine afterwards. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

    Usually, it is (1) a preference file located here
    <user home folder>/Library/Preferences/
    In this case, the problem is not just Finder if it also happens in Mail. Unfortunately, there are a lot of preference files.
    Or it is (2) a background process that runs when you log in to your account. If it is something that starts automatically, it may be one of your Login Items. You can look at System Preferences Accounts pane +Login Items+ tab. That list shows processes that run when you log in to that account. If you see anything that you no longer need, you should remove it. Look for anything there that might, for whatever reason, change the alphabetical sort order.
    Make sure English is selected as language in System Preferences +Language & Text+ pane. It seem improbable that it would not be, but I just noticed there is a setting at the bottom of that pane that says +Order of sorted lists+. Does that have something other than English ?

  • In my library disc 2 comes before disc 1

    i imported a 2 disc cd to my itunes library but disc 2 is positioned before disc 1 in the sequence order of albums.
    How can I correct this?

    Select one of the tracks on one of the discs and hold shift then select the other tracks for the album. After selecting them, right click the tracks and choose Get Info. From there you can change the Disc Number for the tracks.
