December System Update: Neglect for E-commerce payment gateway in Africa

Nice to know that Adobe BC is getting better day by day. However, what is the purpose of this improvements without support for more payment gateway e.g 2checkout. Africa especially my country- Nigeria is totally alienated regarding payment gateway support. We can't expand our client turnover because of this limitation or better still afraid to take on any Ecommerce projects
We'll suggest the team put in place a stop gap measure (in form of custom payment gateway) or improve support for payment gateway that can cover Africa.

We do not have any short term plans to offer support for the 2checkout payment gateway. However, we do already have working integrations with several payment gateways that do offer support for Africa (InternetSecure, PayGate). Unfortunately that is not possible any longer. My advice is to take the update. You'll have to at some point or either you'll accidentally accept it. The HD voice and video works well between compatible phones. And, if you run into a problem, better now than later.

I don't believe that Lenovo ever shipped a T410 with Windows XP Professional 64-bit Edition, so you'll likely need to manually download device drivers for the various hardware components from the various silicon manufacturers' web sites (i.e., Intel, nVidia and so forth).

Is system update right for me?

I'm trying to determine whether I should now upgrade to a new system. I'm about to start editing an independent feature length film project in about a month. I'm switching to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
I currently have an 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (Early 2008) Mac Pro with which I have been editing with Final Cut Pro 7 on.
I wasn't really wanting to move to a laptop - I was hoping for new iMacs at WWDC 2012.
Waiting any longer is not something I can do at this point if I'm going to start this new project on a new system. However, after looking at Geekbench numbers comparing my current MacPro setup to the 27" current iMacs, I'm not seeing a huge increase in the numbers. Is this a realistic way for me to look at this? Should I not bother upgrading at all? Are there big benefits that I would get that Geekbench isn't showing me?
One thing I do know is that my current MacPro processors do not support Hyper-Threading or Turboboost or anything like that. Also, my graphics card is lacking GPU acceleration that many new apps take advantage of. Would these items alone be enough to justify an update when using Premiere Pro CS6, Photoshop, and After Effects?

Do you really need a MAC or would a PC be OK?
If you need a MAC, look at the latest MAC Pro, fully loaded with dual hexa cores, 64 GB memory, etc. It comes to around € 11,000. You still need a MAC Quadro 4000 card, because that is not included in the price. It is not latest technology and is significantly slower than a modern PC, but downgrading to a very slow iMAC or MBP that do not meet practical minimum requirements is even worse, especially for a feature length film.

Hi,
This setting makes the decision on keeping the changes made in ECC and APO systems on the same time. For example, someone makes change in a particular planned order in ECC while someone else is changing the same order in APO. while saving, how the planned order should be updated, whether with the ECC changes or APO changes in both the systems is decided by this setting.
Preferred setting is based on your requirement. However most of the systems, I find it set as 2 - Use Update Logic, Automatic Retransfer. This confirms that ECC changes have the highest priority over APO changes.
Please refer the F1 help on that field.

Check your Service Station. The link to the KB article--changelog?--is 404 so who knows what this update does. I'm hoping it improves stability if WiFi is set to sleep with the tablet. We'll see…

Seems to work OK on my system. It did identify two missing drivers and installed them.
The start-up time on the first run was very long 30 seconds or so with the splash screen only.
But it will start and subsequent starts are quicker.

We are announcing a new Business Catalyst release, scheduled to go live on Tuesday, September 10th.

In this release, we're introducing the ability to set metadata for products, similar to the previous feature we've done for blogs.
To show the Products Meta description, change the HTML for the Individual Product Large Layout to include the corresponding tags in the <head> tag. You can use {tag_productmetatitle} and {tag_productmetadescription} to output the product title and meta description, and they can be used for other meta properties as well.

Hi Liam, I was using that new dropdown section but the Meta Description wasn't saving. I did 10 yesterday and today some were missing which I'd definitely done yesterday. (Maybe it's something to do with onesaas which exports and reimports the products to sync with our accounting and inventory system?)
To be on the safe side I'm now copying the data from meta description into a custom 1 field in case it vanished again i can recopy and paste it back and not loose hours of rewriting etc.
Plus I found the tag to show the more options-keywords on the pages too.
So what i've learnt (in case anyone else is as lost as me..)
Don't touch product page properties. (I'm going to go through and delete all mine)
On the product large layout page have:

Reinstalling Thinkvantage System Update Challenge...

Hello all...
I do not know how it was done, yet done, my TV System Update was not working, so I deleted it through 'Programs and Features', I now try to re-install it and cannot. The process gets to a point and then rolls back. I have turned off my Avast antivirus program...
Please advise what I may be missing or am not doing to get this program up and running.

Updates via toolbox vs system update

I just installed a newer version of Thinkvantage Toolbox (6.0.5717.35) that Thinkvantage System Update found for me.
It started running and it notified me of another update. So I click and it showed me another update available to Thinkvantage Toolbox (6.0.5717.37).
So I ran Thinkvantage System Update again, and it does not show me this update.
So I'm wondering...why do they have different ideas of what the latest update for me is? Why are they not the same? Which one is correct? Is the Toolbox update newer and intended to replace the System Update?

I'd like to add that the "toolbox update" I'm talking about is the one that checks automatically for updates when you launch the toolbox and the one that runs when you click the green ? icon in the upper right and choose "check for updates". However if I click on the enormous System Health button and then choose "Latest Software and Driver Updates", it actually launches System Update 4.
It occurs to me to wonder if that first update program is not ONLY to update Toolbox itself. The labeling of the menu item that launches it, and the title of the window when it runs ("Lenovo Update") certainly does not make this clear if this is case.
Also I went ahead with the toolbox update, letting it install 6.0.5717.37, and I find that this update does not appear in the installatation history viewable in System Update 4.

M93p tower - ThinkVantage System Update will not launch

I have an M93p tower, and for some reason System Update no longer starts successfully. The opening Lenovo logo showing Version 5 of System Update appears for 3-4 seconds and then disappears, but the actual program window never appears.
Same thing happens no matter whether I try to launch System Update directly from the Start Menu or from within Lenovo ThinkVantage Tools.
I have tried uninstalling System Update, and manually reinstalling the very latest version obtained from the Lenovo M93p driver/software download site. No change. Program window will still not launch even though the opening logo appears.
I have 10 other Lenovo machines (M91p, M92p, W530 laptop, multiple M93p SFF) and System Update has never failed to start on any of them. Only this one machine has this strange system appeared.
Any thoughts? Something I should look for in some log somewhere that might provide a clue?

MAP not updated statistically for materials maintained in standard price

Hi all,
For materials maintained in standard price, system updates MAP for statistical purposes - but I found that system is not updating MAP for goods movement with movement type 653. I posted a goods movement with movement type 101 and system updated MAP.
So could any one help by explaining me why system updates MAP for 101+ and why not for 653+

Problems with recent system update

All my problems started with the most recent software update. I did the most recent set of updates which required a restart. After restart, I noticed that it was taking a REALLY long time to load up, so I left it over night and came back in the morning. I thought "hmmm 10 hours, maybe it'll take 16", so I went to work. Came home, still hanging at the gray Apple startup screen. Finally, I called Apple and they told me to force shut down, unplug for 15 seconds and retry. Followed these instructions, still got the little logo. Finally the gentleman tells me to force shutdown, and reset the pram (CommandOption+PR). This REALLY screwed things up as now I am stuck at a blank screen with NO Apple logo. I have tried every keyboard shortcut imaginable, to no avail. Anybody else had this problem? "Guess you have to take it to an Apple genius" is the final response of my phone call. Well, 4 hours to the nearest Apple store isn't something I want to do. Also, considering all was well before the System Update, paying for shipping/repair is also not something that I want to swallow. Any suggestions would be great.

OK you did a SMC reset and then seperatly did a PRAM reset. Now try doing them in this sequence and your system should start OK.
1. Turn off your iMac and unplug everything from it for 30 seconds.
2. Plug in the power cord, keyboard and mouse only.
3. Press the power button and immediately hold down the Option, Command, P & R keys until you hear the second gong then release the keys. Your machine will start up normally, then check for the issues you are having.

Macbook will turn on and off but won't restart so i can apply a system update.

lately i've been having trouble with my macbook pro retina display early 2013 model running 10.9. i've had a system update available for a while now but when i try to update the app store will download the update and prompt me to restart but when i try to restart my mac does nothing. i've tried manually updating by downloading the update directly from apple.com, but i get the same result. if i use the restart command from the menu bar apple drop down i get the same result. i can force a restart by holding down power, but the update doesn't get installed. i've tried running a disk check and it repaired a few things and says the disk is fine now, however i still can't find a solution to this very frustrating problem.

bump? i've been trying to figure this out with google and a few friends and have made no progress.
