Deciding to buy

I am thinking of buying a new ibook and am a little confused. Not sure if this is where I should post or not.
1) how is the word processing on the ibook?
2) could I install windows? Do not want to if the word processor is great.
3) If they decide to put intel chips into the ibook should I wait to buy? Did the macbooks work okay when they first came out with the chip?
4) I am only using for internet, email, and writing term papers, itunes, no real gaming
Thanks

1) appleworks which is bundled with the iBook is a good, but limited word processor. Unless you are doing fancy things appleworks is good, but you cal also but MS office for the iBook.
2) Windows will not run on the iBook with out an emulator like Qemu or GuestPC. And even then the emulation is a bit slow.
3) I think Apple will put an intel chip into the iBook computers with in the next year or two. If you need a laptop now buy the iBook it is a great computer with very little problems, the intel ones are bound to have some problems because they are new. The macbook pro computers had many problems when they came out because mac has never run on intel before, and the iBooks should have less.
4) Safari is one of the best web browsers (that is what I am using now). For email the mac mail program is pretty good, I used it until I got MS office now I use entourage, but personally I think that mac mail is better and I will probably switch back. iTunes is the best program for music, and is for both windows and mac, so there is no real difference there.
