Decimal number converted into coma "," separated number --- how to resolve

In our E-Business 11i (11.5.9), we are facing strange problem since few days, when ever user enter any number e.g. 145.098, it is converted as 145,098. It is weird problem, any resolutions for this............

Thanks for all the inputs, we generated the SR as well, and we got the following response, we applied all that, and now we are not facing any issue.

1. Check Profile Option "ICX: Numeric characters" if it is NULL, 10,000.00 or 10.000,00
Do not set the Profile Option ICX: Numeric Characters to 10.000,00 at the site lev
el.
Set the System Profile Option: ICX: Numeric Characters, at the site level to 10,000.00 and if any
user needs the different format of 10.000,00 then change it through the General Preferences link
which will set the profile option at user level to 10.000,00.
2. Confirm in File "Init.ora". If Parameter "NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS" is equals value:
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS = ",."
3. Set the FND profile CURRENCY:THOUSAND_SEPARATOR to TRUE
4. Set the NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS=".," in the $APPL_TOP/<SID>.env
5. Bounce the Apache Server for any setup changes to take effect including profile options.

I have a string value that stores data like 'NYK,IND,SGP,GER'
FOR EXAMPLE
V_CITY_CODE = 'NYK,IND,SGP,GER'
When I query
select * from city where city_code = V_CITY_CODE;I get no rows, this is because V_CITY_CODE has all city code as single code.
I need a function to search , and replace with ','.
I tried using instr and replace but was unable to convert it.

OK. That means the default display lange of the OS is Thai. That is what was purchased.
You can try downloading and using the language appropriate LIPS (language interface package software) from Microsoft to change the display language.

Output of RFC needs to be converted into PDF format

Hi Experts,
In the ESS screen, we have to provide one link for every employee. When the user will click on the link, one letter in PDF format should be displayed to the user. This PDF will act as a "Address Certificate". The address certificate will contain information related with name, address, passport details etc. How we can achieve this?
In my view, we will have to create one Z-RFC. The ABAPer will create the Z-RFC. Now the input for the Z RFC will be employee no. The output will be Name, Address and Passport details.
The information provided in table format needs to be converted into PDF form. How we can do so? What all services needs to be activated for this?

Hi Gary,
When you say the ESS screen, what do you mean by this is it ECC side or in Portal Side.
It its in Portal side then, I think you need to create a WebDynpro application which display output through ADOBE forms. For that you need to have basic WebDynpro knowledge.
Apart from that ADS needs to be configured. There are sevrel tutorial available in SDN. For creating a WebDynpro Application with Adobe Interactive forms.

Could you please try the following steps to confirm that your subscription went through?
1. On a computer, browse to files.acrobat.com and log in with your Adobe id.
2. Upload some files to your account.
3. Now on your iPad, launch Adobe Reader and tap on Acrobat.com. You should see the uploaded documents there.
4. Open any document and try and convert it to another format/pdf.
Do the documents convert successfully? Now try to do the same conversion of any document under your Documents list. What happens? Do you see the same error?

first in DTP in excute tab
select the option as update the corrective records and availabe for reporting
not do not load and not avaialble for reporting.
then which ever the correct records are there they will update at first load with normal DTP
which ever the error records are there those records will be moved to error stock( it is part pSA only)--
then click error stock tab( on top menu bar you can find) and do the changse and create the Error DTP
once recors gone to error stock you can find the c reating error DTP option in existed DTP
create the ERROR DTP and load teh data.

It really depends on what you want. For example you want to "split the hexa number 1A into 1 and A". Should the output be a string or another U8 number?

Actully I mean the number of metamodels are known.For example, assume that there are two known metamodels in the target side, the first one is the target metamodel, and the second one is the trace metamodel .
I would like to see an example of ETL transformation that run on a source model and generate the target model and the trace model as well. This statement is part of the chapter 5 of the ebook which says "it is often essential to be able to access/update additional models during a transformation (such as trace or configuration models). Building on the facilities provided by EMC and EOL, ETL enables specification of transformations that can transform an arbitrary number of source models into an arbitrary number of target models."

E90: How to enter a space into a phone number?

does anyone know if it's possible to enter a space into a phone number in the E90's Contacts manager? It is possible with my Nokia 9500, and I transferred my contacts from it to the E90, and spaces in phone numbers were preserved, but when I enter a new contact I can't find any way to enter a space! This is very frustrating, as I find it very useful to pad out numbers with spaces, for example to make it clearer which provider a mobile number has, or what city code a land line has, and it also makes it easier to read out numbers over the phone. I have the same problem with hypens, which are handy for separating extension numbers from the rest of the number. I see that there is an optional label "Extension (bus.)", but that's not much use if the extension is for the fax machine...

Thanks for your suggestions, and for bringing OVI to my attention, which I hadn't heard of before. However, all the suggestions require the use of another computer or service, whereas what I want is to be able to work with my communicator "stand alone" as far as possible, without having to rely on other systems, especially Windows systems! One of the features I most appreciate about the E90 is the USB interface, which means I can make backups without having to rely on software that only runs under Windows. In my case this means I can make backups to my Linux PC very quickly and easily, without needing to install any special software.

The ONLY way to remove this data from your phone, is to restore your phone as a new device in iTunes, NOT from backup. You either do that, or you live with it. Currently, there is no way to edit this data on any iPhone.

Don't do that - flag the photo and go to the target event and use the add flagged photo to selected event command to move it intact within iPhoto

Lost Digits of big Number - convert Double into Hex

My Number is 24563383270390080
if i debug the Variable it has got a value of 2.45633832703901e+016, so i lost a little bit of the value.
if i bring ist into a sting, i can see the complete value "24563383270390080"
i have to convert the number in to a Hex-Value, the Reuslt should be "$57444456503941" an can be written into a string.
my problem is to bring the original value into a string of hex, because diadem round the last digits of my number
i tryed several convertions, but the the probmel of lost digits is still there....
maybe you´ve got an idea

You are a little bit out of luck with your example because

0 at the end is correct. (At least the MS calculator says so.) But this is by incident because of the number you picked.
VBS only supports 64 bit double values. 64 bit doubles have a mantissa of 52 bits.
24563383270390080
becomes
1010111010001000100010001010110010100000011100101000000
which has 55 bit in use. Because your last bits aren't in use the number you picked can be represented by a double without loosing precission.
24563383270390081
would show the behavior you described because it is using 55bit range. The 1 is just cut when converted to double.
But I have no solution for this because it will not work with VBS.

if that doesn't work for you - go to system preferences - keyboard and change it there.
