I removed a device from my iCloud ages ago. I then went on iCloud today on icloud.com then went onto Pages it said something about upgrading a device i clicked ok but i thought i had erased it?

After an erroneous contacts delete on the mac, they've been removed from icloud and all the synced devices. I was able to restore the contacts from a backup, but since the iCloud version is newer than the backuped one, they are deleted every iCloud sync

Now I have an iPhone with the contacts and iCloud deactivated, but I lost all the contacts on the Mac and the iPad.
There is a way to tell iCloud "restart using the contacts I have on this device"?

An iCloud backup will save the state of your Camera Roll at the time of the backup but, if you delete photos from the Camera Roll, they will not be in the next backup taken.

I have just tried to add a track to an existing playlist - and get the following message - "iCloud playlists canonly contain songs from your iCloud music library" If you continue, playlist will be removed from iCloud andonly be available on this computer". I have tried dragging and dropping, right clicking and adding and pressing the little arrow to add to playlist and all tell me that I cannot do this. What's that all about? I am really surprised that no one has been able to help me with this... Anyhow, I have still got the propblem - although I am definitely NOT using Match. I have been adding to existing play,ist by removing it from icloud (dunno how - but it's an option offered when trying to add to playlist).. There are obviously limits to what can be stored in Photo Stream and for how long.
If she wants backups then she will need something like this: Seagate Wireless Plus.

You must surely be able to add and subtract songs on specific playlist?

I fixed this issue (with help from tech support) and it involved several things.
After adding a song to iTunes, right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Update iTunes Match."
OR go to the iTunes menu-->Store-->Update iTunes Match.
Maybe that's the reason, it just hadn't updated to the cloud.
OR maybe it's not a high-enough bitrate file. This happens to me because most of my tunes are home-recorded.
Sometimes converting to .mp3 or Create AAC version might work. (You do this with a right-click in iTunes, and then you will want to remove the original file from iTunes.)
There is an iTunes Preferences setting, under General Preferences called Import Settings. Try setting it to AAC Encoder and iTunes Plus. That (I think) causes imports to be slightly better quality.

Did you try to delete the user ? Did you get any error message?
Note 1148837 - SRM user cannot be deleted
When trying to delete an SRM user the system will check if there are still
related SRM documents in the system. If there are active documents in the
system the deletion is not possible. This is the correct system behaviour.
But even if all related SRM documents are archived the deletion is

Have you deleted the song from the iPod itself? Go to the songs list and swipe left on the song title. A "Delete" option should come up allowing you to directly delete the item from your iPod....

I believe you are right…and thanks for posting…hadn't noticed until you asked the question. Maybe it's there hiding in plain sight, but I couldn't find it. A search on MPEG in the new User Guide actually comes up with one reference to MPEG1 as a setting (p 111), but that may simply be a vestige of the previous editions.
What do you need MPEG1 for? Could MP4 work?

No, it is not included in Acrobat 11 and is available separately. If you had Acrobat 10 installed, installing Acrobat 11 removes it but you are elgibile for a free copy of the latest version, but you have to request it.

Has the command-P keyboard shortcut to print been removed from Pages 5.2?

Is this just me or has one of the most used keyboard shortcuts been removed from the latest Pages?
You have to navigate the mouse to File>print...? No command>P?

If you open Mail and then in its File menu at the top, click on Window and choose Previous Recipients, you'll get a popup window listing them. At that point, you can highlight and delete any/all.
