Dedicated Memory Does Now Show

My Laptop model is HP ProBook 450 G2 Notebook PC, Serial Number: [Personal Information Removed], Product Number: L6B82PT. This PC supports AMD 2GB Dedicated Graphics Card (ATI AMD Radeon R5 M255). I have istalled both driver such as below:
1. AMD Hybrid Graphics (HG) Video Driver and Control Panel
2. Intel Video Driver and Control Panel
but I can see my Dedicated Memory is 0 in Graphics Advance Settings Panel like below image
Please help me with proper instructions to resolve this issue.

Hi, That's right, it only uses shared memory in this case and the value is over 1900MB. Other vendors do the same by letting system allocates available memory for it. Regards.

Figured it out I used straight serial cable. put null modem adapter solved the problem.

I have just installed a new hard drive in my imac intel 20" (2006) and now the hard drive does not show up in the 'select destinations' folder of the install program.

I have just installed a new hard drive in my imac intel 20" (2006) and upgraded the memory and now the hard drive does not show up in the 'select destinations' folder of the install program. I can see the hard drive in the disk utilities window however it wont let me do anything.
It is a seagate 1TB SATA II drive however it is displaying it as a 7.3 TB.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to hear them.
I have tried to erase and partition and get the same error message each time, 'Input/Output error'.
I have tried starting the thing with the install disk which is Mac OS X (Tiger?) which came with the computer. No good.
Anyone?

Thats correct. I can see it in the list however when I attempt to erase it or partition it it's like it's not being found or recognised and it throws up the input/output error message. I am pretty sure that the sensor it attached correctly and it is a SATA drive. I can see all the infor regarding the drive when disk utility is open and it all looks good but I cant access it or do anything with it. It's taunting me!
The install disk is in the drive and the install program runs right up to the point where you have to select the location for the install and there is just nothing in the box where you have to select the hard drive icon.
I have my suspiscions about the drive but any help would be appreciated.

DBCA does not show memory above 2GB

Hi,
I created a DB using DBCA and was trying to assign 4GB for memory_target on a 11.0.1.6 database Win x86 ; but DBCA shows max memory of 2048 MB.
PAE is enabled on the server and I can see it shows 6GB RAM. But why does DBCA show only 2GB ? Can I only edit the spfile to increase memory_target to 4GB now ?

You'll never get to use more than 2GB of memory on a 32-Bit OS for the following reason:

This memory includes: \\ - Process overhead (code for oracle.exe) \\ - The SGA for the instance \\ - All user threads \\ - All user PGA memory \\ The process address space on 32-Bit Windows is 4GB. However, Microsoft reserves 2GB for OS kernel memory, leaving a default of 2GB for a user process (eg ‘oracle.exe'). \\ {color}

I use an iPod nano 5th generation. I have had it for about two years now and after about one year, I plugged in my iPod into my computer to sync more music. Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

RESPONSES:
1)   When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2)   I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3)   So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Does the standard Intel HD Graphics 4000 in the 13 inch Macbook pro stand up to other graphics cards with dedicated memory ( 1GB of memory for instance)? I need a laptop for college and the Engineering program suggests a dedicated video card with minimum 1GB of video memory.

I have a Intel HD 4000 in my Mac Mini (late 2012), and it's okay for what I need it.
However:
- there were a few issues with flickering on the video output to external monitors. These were solved through a firmware update that came with OSX 10.8.3 - for the majority of the users. There is apparently still a small group of users that still has issues. You can read long threads about this here:

So for most of us (me included) this issue is solved, but it seems that certain displays / monitors don't work well with the intel HD4000, don't know if there is a pattern or a list of monitor models...
- there was an issue with the color calibration on the HDMI output. No matter how much you tried to calibrate, the results remained unsatisfying. All light colors were crushed to white, wrong contrast, ...

The same firmware update improved this a little, good enough for me, but I can imagine it's not good enough if you do graphic work and need reliable colors from your monitor. On HDMI output, the thunderbolt/MDP output is fine. So it's mainly a dual monitor setup issue.
If it's for graphic work, I'd go for a Mac Book Pro with dedicated GPU !

Please then use your web Browser address http://www.adobe.com/ and sign in with your Adobe User ID and Password to your account the has your Subscription and use https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html capture the page which shows you have a subscription like I showed you I have.
Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application use the APP tab and capture that scree to show Photoshop is installed and up to date like I did. Capture that screen. Show us you have installed Photoshop and its up to date.
Open Photoshop and use menu Help it should show tha its activated because there will be a menu item Sign Out. If it is Sign In, Sign in using the account that has the subscription the one you used above to Activate Photoshop.
