Dedicated Support Forum for IEM

Does anyone know if there is a dedicated suport forum like this one for the Cisco Interactive Experiance Manager/Platform?

Hi Ansuz82.
I understand that. But I thought I remembered that there was a different support number (or something) posted here once. I've tried to search here and pull it up, also searched Apple Support and searched the boards. Can't seem to find the post. I was hoping to direct a poster from Taipei to somewhere he could speak Chinese (he didn't specify). That's all.

does Apple have a support forum for Mighty Mouse.

does Apple have a support forum for Mighty Mouse.
No there is not a specific forum for the Mighty Mouse, generally you would normally post in the peripherals/input section of the forum related to your Mac, so if you have an iMac post in the iMac section.

  • Let's ask HP to categorize support forum for every product model or at least every model series

    Hi all HP fans!
I really wonder why not HP Support Forum is not categorized by every product model or at least model series to help customers post issues in apropriate group and helpers don't get confused in thousands of unrelated questions.
     Regards
    AlizzA

    Because they don't care...
I've been a service tech for 18 years repairing HP products, from Laserjets to Designjets and I used their technical support web site and phone support for help when I was stuck.
In the early years Tech Support was great! They were a knowledgeable and helpful team of bright people.
This was when HP had direction and vision.
They cared about the customer, the customer's satisfaction and the companies image.
    Not any more.
Just look at the piles and piles of ticked off people ranting about HP's Customer Support...it's shameful!
HP pumps out new products faster than ever, dropping support for relatively new products and leaving customers and 3rd party support providers out in the cold.
They put up self-help websites like this one to make themselves feel better.
We've moved on to Canon products and let me tell you...we've never looked back!
Customer and tech support are second to none as well as the products!

  • Is there a support forum for Filemaker?

If not, I guess I can post this question here. Is there a way to set a certain entry in a certain field to always be a certain color? For instance, we have a column field in our database for technician and when you click in that field there is a list of already-entered choices for you to choose from, in our case, it's each technicians initials. Is there a way to have each techs initials in this pre-determined menu, a default color other than black? Currently if you select a set of initials from the list they are black and there doesn't seem to be a way to set a color to them and have them remain that color as a default color. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ryan
If you don't get a response, I'd recommend this forum website =0)

  • PPro Help Forum for Professionals?

I love Adobe's forum. But there's one issue that has become more apparent now that almost everyone and their brother now has access to these fantastic products - the forums try to handle everything from novice questions (what's an NLE?) to advanced questions from professionals, who make a living with Adobe products. The latter often NEEDS help immediately or a job could be jeopardized. But unfortunately important, urgent threads can get buried quickly because of the sheer number of new discussions now.
Another issue is that, quite frankly, as a professional we may be hesitant to ask a question and look stupid. But every professional, no matter how experienced, can benefit from a forum like this. Adobe's official phone support is, in my experience, very lacking and not desirable in many situations.
I propose the following: a dedicated help forum for professional who desire fast help from experienced fellow professionals.
**Only people who make a living with Adobe products would be allowed to participate.
**There could be an instant messaging feature for even faster and more detailed assistance between members.
** Yes there could be some networking and business opportunities for everyone
** Members can optionally have a signature which would list his or her system/workstation specs, which takes a lot of guess work and clarification requests out of the equation. it's all about FAST help.
** It would NOT be financed or controlled by Adobe or any of the other established creative services or companies. It's strictly USER controlled. However we would certainly love participation from Adobe staff.
Chime in if this sounds like something that would make sense.
Any suggestions for a forum like that? Let's hear 'em!
I would be honored to lead and finance the undertaking, but i will need a few strong, knowledgable people to help get this off the ground.
    So...who's game?
PS: this doesn't have to be just for PPro. I feel After Effects and Photoshop professionals certainly would benefit greatly as well.

CONFERENCE IN MOUND MN. FOR PRO SUPPORT OF ADOBE PRODUCTS !
    AP, NY 2014
    NEWS FLASH !
The small city of Mound, MN. is preparing for a special conference of international Importance for Adobe Products ( focusing on it's Creative Cloud ). The " never before attempted " conference is actually a SOCIAL NETWORK result of Adobe USERS getting together to discuss the implementation of a " user based " PROFESSIONAL " IT and Technical and Creative Source " presence in a Global Market !
There have been FLASH CROWDS social events hosted at " Mall Of America " in the Twin Cities , but never anything as big as this event promises to be.  Literally THOUSANDS of individual users and expert users of Adobe Products are expected to attend.
What sets this event apart form the normal business model and marketing of commercial products is that it is ENTIRELY user produced.
It is a planned " USERS FOR USERS " event and Adobe Corp ( ADBE ) has no direct involvement in the event.  Adobe was not immediately available for comment but Kroycom ( the organizer ) and many Adobe Users have much to say about the promise of the event !
" THIS IS GREAT ! " exclaimed Robodog , a Mound resident, and a promoter of Adobe products as a " user ".  People will come here from all over the world and talk about a way to furnish fast solutions to a number of problems we face in the revolution of media, content, delivery, distribution, creativity, social cohehesion and people to people communications ! "
" I have to say though, that people should maybe bring their own tents and sleeping bags and canned foods , because there in no motel here and the nearest HOTEL is about 20 miles away.. so be prepared to sorta live in your car or whatever.. you know, during the conference ... "

The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.
If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

  • This is a support forum, not a flame forum.

This forum is here for people to help each other out,NOT to flame and Bitc- about msi.
Msi makes a good product, and the only reason you see so many problems here is this is a support forum for people having problems.
For all the thousands of boards made, the people having problems are only a slight fraction.
Only post here if you are having a problem and are looking for a fix, do not  bitc-!
If you clearly ask for help and explain the problem, you might get some helpfull users to reply to you.
Whenever I see a person start a flaming thread, all I think of is a John Kerry lover who likes to bitc- about a problem, that does not have the solution, and that bitc-es
about sombody trying to fix the problem.

    Quote
There are no other official forums for other major mobo manufacturers (at least not ASUS and ABIT).
Actually you are half wrong.  ABIT's official Forums  And they actually have employees on the board.  But I digress.
Here are some observations I have come to in the last 10 years or so.
All modern tech companies have issues with product launches, so it seems.  I have broken my own cardinal rule with the K8N Neo, That bein NEVER BUY REV. 1 of anything.
I remember the trama of My Abit NF7-S, the Raid drivers on the floppy didnt work, the microphone had bad corruption issues (extreme static on the line).  It required an RMA for a physical repair.  The V.2 was more or less flawless.  Now The NF7-S is one of the most stable Nforce 2 boards going, what makes you think our K8's will not have such a storied history?
Then there was the Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 Deluxe.  The drivers/PVR software provided would blue screen my system.  It required a download of a more current set to correct that.
Then I had a DOA Corsair memory strip.
.....Then I purchased a Gainward Ti4200 video card, only to find out it had defective capacitors, and Gainward was replacing them with more defective cards, it took some people four, or more RMA's to get a card that was not defective, as evident in this thread (warning over 100 pags long) GAINWARD Ti4200 Problem Thread
So, as one can see MSI has its issues just as everyone else, and I still have every confidence in them.  I just RMA'ed a 2.5 year old K7N415 for leaking capacitors, and they sent me a new one, no questions asked.
They have excellent customer service, and provide this forum for us all to come together and discuss our issues, and succeses.  Therefore everyone shold lay off MSI, and give them thier due.

  • Forum for discussions around "My Oracle Support"

Since there isn't a forum specifically for "My Oracle Support" what do people think about having one created.
There are forums both here and in the MOS communities for just about every other product that Oracle has what about one for MOS on http://forums.oracle.com?
    Any value in it?

If having it out in the open didn't get complaints noticed, why would they care?I don't think anyone (except possibly Oracle's support group) is arguing against getting this stuff into the open.
The question (at least in my little mind) is "Why do people think that Oracle should provide the forum to air Oracle's laundry?"Possibly because it would encourage them to provide a better service to paying support customers and listen to what they need and that that would ultimately be beneficial to Oracle?
When Oracle do not provide a public forum for Oracle users to discuss their experiences and lock threads when people do discuss their experiences tends to suggest that, yes they notice the discussions on this site and that they do not want those experiences to become public, because in general they are not positive experiences. What makes you think Oracle Support will listen here? They feel they have an appropriate forum.
    >
I think in the long run Oracle's stance on the support upgrade and their efforts to keep it quiet will only hurt Oracle.I agree.
But then again, perhaps they believe they provided us with appropriate opportunity to provide feedback.
Indeed, they have held several public forums asking for feedback (in particular for input on how to design the new Certify system), some of which I advertised for them, AND NO ONE CAME. There were dozens of excuses provided when I contacted individuals to encourage participation.
If they provide facilities and resources and we ignore them, why should they (MOS) make any effort to come to a location that they have told us they do not officially monitor.
Indeed, we have been told several times that MOS/MOS-C and Forums are separate. And the moderator here is trying very hard to keep them separate as well.
    >
What is worrying is we have seen a similar attitude during the various forums upgrades where useful features are continually removed and features no one wants are added and scalability goes down. It begins to look like an institutionalized attitude of not listening.Bi-directional. There is truly a mutual attitude of not listening.
For example - you claim 'no one wants those features'. Yet, those features were, and are, wanted by some - specifically by the Applications community that is not at all well represented in OTN Forums.
(How they are implemented, and whether Flash is a usable technology for this ... is another discussion entirely. Let's just say I am on record as an early advocate of http://supporthtml.oracle.com)

  • Forum for Support or N

    Hi,
Right, if this forum is not for support purposes, then I ask Creative, why is this forum and the link under the Support section of the Creative site?
Perhaps this should be moved as it is misleading people into thinking they can get support here. And also, what sort of a company is it, that provides a forum, and does not allow customers to express their feeling upon how that company manages its aspect of products and after sales service, ie: techinical support.
Many companies are open to feedback, yet Creative seem not to have any staff on the forums, who can actually make a difference to any of the problems a customer may or may not have.
For example, many companies would have some sort of support representati've in the forums, if only to keep up appearances, and perhaps make a odd post on one or two topics a day. Now that can't really be too much to ask can it's

We don't mislead people. At the top of every single forum page it says clearly "Discussion Forums" not "Support Forums." All the main forum pages have that red disclaimer. And if I recall correctly, when you sign up for the forums at one point it takes you to a blank screen that has the disclaimer on it, explaining these are not support forums, but user interaction forums. Do you have a specific suggestion to make it less misleading? It's only under the support section on the main website so people can find it when looking for answers. Users often find answers to their problems here without ever having to send an email. So naturally it'd be under the "support" link where people would look for answers to their problems. The numerous warnings the rest of the way to and in the forums should give it away that it's still just a discussion forum, where people can discuss their problems.
And also, what sort of a company is it, that provides a forum, and does not allow customers to express their feeling upon how that company manages its aspect of products and after sales service, ie: techinical support.

We are open to feedback, we do generally allow customers to express their feelings about it. If we didn't, there wouldn't really be so many angry posts here, because they would all be deleted right? We have to start locking threads when they turn into flame wars, people start cursing, attacking each other or CL, etc. We only allow CIVIL posts, as outlined in the forum Rules, which you agreed to when you signed up for this forum. And we do pass on your feedback to the appropriate channels. We aren't in charge of actually implementing any ideas, but we do get the feedback to them. And more often than you see, those ideas do get implemented. For example there has been requests in the sound forum for a PCI-Express sound card. I recall seeing Creative showing off a new PCI-Express card recently.
If anyone has a CIVIL comment to make, I'll leave this thread open. But any attacks, threats, cursing etc, and it's locked. We've stated what this forum is in place for, if you have a suggestion to change the forum please feel free to PM a forum moderator or contact Customer Support.

  • Forum for Netbeans, JavaFX Composer ...

I don't see a dedicated forum for JavaFX/Netbeans users. At the forums.netbeans.org site there is'nt anything dedicated for JavaFX. Here there is'nt anything dedicated for Netbeans.
IMHO a dedicated forum would be valuable. JavaFX seems to be the "future client stack" for Java and Netbeans the principal IDE that supports it.
What do you all think ?.

    Hi,
There is no forum at NetBeans forum site dedicated for JavaFX since there is no overwhelming amount of messages with JavaFX topic for requiring separation from the nbusers forum.
We have a mailing list (with a message archive) dedicated specifically to JavaFX:

  • Has the customer support number for Apple Configurator changed?

    Hi there,
I'm having problems with Apple Configurator and normally I ring up the customer support number listed on the Apple Website (44) 0844 209 0611
and I go through to an automated system that normally asks "which apple product or service do you need assistance with?"
I say "Apple Configurator" and then it takes me through to that department.
Now when I ring up, you get 6 options, none of which are what I need, it takes me through to another department who say that there is no longer a support department for this area.
If this is the case then I am very very shocked as those guys are extremely helpful and Configurator is a rapidly growing area due to the popularity of iPads in schools.
If anyone could provide me a phone number/other information to contact this department that would be extremely helpful.
p.s. If I have posted this in the wrong discussion area then I do apologise, I couldn't find a location dedicated for Configurator.

I am not sure which is the best forum but you could put it on the iPad one:
