Deducted time more than the real duration

Hi,
I recently subscribed to 60 min/month for calls to landlines of my country. The first call I made had a duration of 1min:56sec. Afterwards I checked online and the time that was deducted from my account was 3min!
Can you please let me know why I have been deducted more time than the real duration of my call?

Was it exactly 1:56? Was that your timing?
The official timing mechanism which Skype uses is very accurate.
If, for example, the actual time was a few seconds longer at - say - 2:02 you would be charged for 3:00 (Skype charges by the minute).
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

LOB segment size is 2 times bigger than the real data

here's an interesting test:
1. I created a tablespace called "smallblock" with 2K blocksize
2. I created a table with a CLOB type field and specified the smallblock tablespace as a storage for the LOB segment:
SCOTT@andrkydb> create table t1 (i int, b clob) lob (b) store as
t1_lob (chunk 2K disable storage in row tablespace smallblock);
3. I insert data into the table, using a bit less than 2K of data for the clob type column:
SCOTT@andrkydb> begin
2 for i in 1..1000 loop
3 insert into t1 values (mod(i,5), rpad('*',2000,'*'));
4 end loop;
5 end;

4. Now I can see that I have an average of 2000 bytes for each lob item:

and that all together they take up:

But when I take a look at how much is the LOB segment actually taking, I get a result, which is being a total mystery to me:
SCOTT@andrkydb> select bytes from dba_segments where segment_name = 'T1_LOB';
BYTES
5242880
What am I missing? Why is LOB segment is being ~2 times bigger than it is required by the data?
I am on 10.2.0.3 EE, Solaris 5.10 sparc 64bit.

thanks for the link, it is good to know such thing is possible. Although I don't really see how can it help me..
But you know, you were right regarding the smaller data amounts. I have tested with 1800 bytes of data and in this case it does fit just right.
But this means that there is 248 bytes wasted (from my, as developer, point of view) per block! But if there is such an overhead, then I must be able to estimate it when designing the data structures. And I don't see anywhere in the docs a single word about such thing.
Moreover, if you use NCLOB type, then only 990 bytes fits into a single 2K chunk. So the overhead might become really huge when you go over to gigabyte amounts...
I have a LOB segment for a nclob type field in a production database, which is 5GB large and it contains only 2,2GB of real data. There is no "deleted" rows in it, I know because I have rebuilt it. So this looks like a total waste of disk space... I must say, I'm quite disappointed with this.

How do I change back to having "bookmark this page" on the top of the list and subordinate "all bookmarks" lower since I use former 100 times more than the later on a daily basis?

I create about 25 -50 new bookmarks daily for my business. So, it would seem user friendly to put that command at the top of the scroll down list. Maybe I am unique and others want to "show all bookmarks" repeatedly. I can't understand why one would need to do that more often than add multiple bookmarks on a daily basis. i look forward to your response,. Respectfully MC

cor-el, as you said, that solution puts the "show all bookmarks" all the way at the bottom. How do you either make "bookmark this page" first without changing the order of the other options or force "show all bookmarks" to be second instead of last, the way the menu was before?

I have a lack of data storage space on my macbook hence I would like to know if Time Capsule is an external hard drive and not just a back up device.

It is a backup device.. in fact it is a backup device for wireless clients in particular hence it is a wireless router with a hard disk inside.. if you use it for storage.. it has one or two big weaknesses..
It is slow.. cf a real NAS with raid.. a single slow green drive is plenty for backups.. less than adequate for storage.. fine over wireless of course.. lousy if you are trying to pass big files.. like your iphoto library back and forth.
But the biggie.. IMHO.. no backup.. the TC has no way to back itself up.. and TM cannot include the content of the TC in a backup to another location.. TM cannot backup any network drive.
So your files will be stored on one bottom of the market, cheapest possible drive available.. with no backup.. !!
Time Machine and data files may also not so happily co-exist.. the TC cannot be partitioned (well not internally).
You can create data images... but is this a good idea??

You're getting too wound up on the wiggly effect. It's not how real pen&paper sketching works, anyway. If at all, it would be much simpler to use a shape layer path, subdivide it with a zigzag modifier, then slap on a wiggle path modifier and finally reveal everything with a trim paths modifier. Otherwise you can also try this:

Similar techniques using particle systems to draw paths and scatter the residual particles will of course also work. Again, don't get obsessed about that wiggly thing. And if you really must - a wiggle is just a combination of multiple sinus waves with different amplitudes, phases and frequencies Simply adding up multiple Math.sin(time*frequency)*amplitude+phase can give all sorts of patterns.

I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. You are talking about 30 Firefox Profiles on the same Windows Logon User Account?
I never saw that as a limit myself. I had 53 Profiles at one time, although I haven't done that since Firefox 3.0. Yes, unfortunately SAP does allow it.
We are using FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD of MV45AFZZ to have our own validation for the same.

How can I sync more than the last 20 iPhoto events with my iPhone?
When I select folders instead of events I can get more photos (ex: last 12 months) to my iPhone but at the same time I no longer have access to the "events" view which I use to organize my photos.

For whatever the reason, syncing iPhoto Events is limited.
I make use of iPhoto albums in addition to Events - primarily for transferring photos to my iPhone.

Wow. I have not seen that question nor a discussion. I agree with James. I don't think it will, and if the power drain is different, maybe it'll be less and not more.
With a 10 hour battery, you have plenty of time to test it and see. If the battery depletes fast, just go back to the other way.
If you do try it, let us know what you discover.

It might be Group Policies causing the login process slow.
Remove any GPOs with Wallpaper or logon scripts on the user\computer account and try again.

Deduction is more than Earning

I m new to HR-Payroll.We have one employee whose deduction is more & earning is less.So as per configuration its deduction is getting reduced & becoming equal to its earning.Tat means the balance amount it is putting in DDNTK table.But it is creating one more wage type '/561 (Claim)' ,which i dnt want.Tat means i dnt want to deduct this "less deduction amount" in next month.

I dont understand why you dont want to deduct the amount which has to be recovered from the employee?
If you want to deduct the entire amount in the current month itself, then there should be enough amount in his salary so that it can be deducted.
System will give you error and will not let you post the documents to FI if, deductions are less than the earnings.
System generating claims, will let you take back the amount from his salary, when amount is available in his salary.
Can you please clarify, why you dont want the system to do the regular process of deduction. Also elaborate with example your business process of recovery!

You likely first configured the AirPort Express to "extend a wireless network" using wireless only, correct?
If yes, you cannot then connect the AirPort Express using Ethernet....that will crash your network.
The Express must be configured to "create a wireless network". AirPort Utility will do this for you automatically, but you will first need to perform a Factory Default Reset or Hard Reset on the AirPort Express and then start over with the configuration again.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the Express before you open AirPort Utility. Post back if you need more tips on how to set this up.

Confirmed quantity more than the ordered quantity in sales order.

We have a situation wherein the confirmed quantity is more than the ordered quantity.
a.) SO was created for qty1.Two schedule lines were proposed as stock was not available.
b.) When stock came in and most probablly, when the rescheduling job calling tcode V_V2 was run, both the schedule lines were confirmed.
c.) As a result, further processing is not done by system as confirmed quantity is more than ordered quantity.
Also we noticed that double schedule line was confirmed for a another order even without the rescheduling job is run.
Can you please suggest as to why this is scenario is occuring and how we can avoid the reoccurence? Thanks in advance!!

Generally two schedule lines will take place if stock is not available in your plant or if open orders are there for that material also. So check the stock in MMBE
.If there are any backorders then it might be getting added in the created sales order and then you might be getting in two schedule lines
