Default country dial-in numbers

We have about 50 users of Webex video conferencing and some are overseas (UK). Even though we have set, and they have set, their LOCALE to be UK, the default numbers that go out in the invite are US numbers.
Since this is totally silly (as all UK invites are for UK invitees), why doesn't the default become the country you are in. After all, under settings for the profile it says, changing the LOCALE will change the numbers - but it clearly does not.
HELP ?

Hola Jose,
Open any application with direct access to Page Setup (in the File menu), for example. Text Edit.
In Page Setup, use the Paper Size pop-up menu to choose US Letter:
Then use the Settings pop-u menu to choose Save as default.
The default setting should now apply to all applications accessog the Print dialogue to print.

Wrong default country code

I bought my Curve 8520 in Indonesia when I was living there. Now I'm back in Australia and when I call a (Australian) number in my contacts that has a 0 at the front, the phone puts the Indonesian country code in front. I have to input the number in full which is areal pain expecially as all mobile numbers start with 0 !!! Is there some way to fix this? Thanks for any help.

Here is how to set the country code:
1. From the Home screen, press the Send key.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Click Options.
4. Click Smart Dialing.
5. Set the Country Code and Area Code fields.
6. If necessary, set the Local Country Code and International Dialing Digits fields.
7. In the National Number Length field, set the default length for phone numbers in your country.
8. Press the Menu key.
9. Click Save.

Default country code for phone

Hi,
When editing new phones, the sistems suggest me the country code for united states, however i have my locale to spanish. How can i make the system to suggest a default country code for phone numbers (example uruguay)?
How can i do a mass update to change the country code? is there anyway to do a mass update for more than 50 records?

thanks bob, is there any way to make the the system to automatically enters a country code for my country Uruguay? there is no locale for uruguay, so when i choose locale spanish spain or spanish mexico it automatically adds the country code for spain or mexico.

Default Country in phone fields

I have an user that sits in Perú and whenever he tries to insert a telephone number, let's say, for a lead, the default country is Spain instead of Perú.
Can anybody help me set the default to Perú?

I've a related problem. After I imported some Korean Contacts, the default telephone Country Code was "North American Numbering Plan." This meant that all of the telephone numbers were prepended with +1. Using Mass Update or scripting, is there any programmatic way that I can mass change all of the telephone number fields from "North American Numbering Plan" (+1) to "Korea" (+82)?

TextEdit is the default application for my Numbers documents

Although I did not set it to be, TextEdit is the default application for my Numbers documents. It was not always this way, but it is now, and I can't seem to change the default application back to Numbers ('09). For example, when I double-click any .numbers document, I always get the following error message:
The document “xxxxx.numbers” could not be opened. The file isn’t in the correct format. The file might be corrupted, truncated, or in an unexpected format.

Therefore, whenever I want to open a.numbers document, I must drag it to the Numbers application icon or right-click and select “open with” and select Numbers from the list of applications. Although this works fine, it creates a couple of extra steps that I would prefer not to do
My first inclination was to “Get info” and change the “open with” back to Numbers for all .numbers documents.

However, selecting Numbers as the default application will not persist after clicking “change all.” Rather, it reverts back to TextEdit. Tony, this is the only way I know how to select the default application for a document type.
Is there another location where I can set/reset the default application?

Hi,
If ou want to make a default County key in Customer / Vendor Master then select the parameter id of countery key ie "LND" and set it in
System>User profile> Own data > Prameters.
Give the parameter id and value of the country key. After saving it logoff and again log in to check whether this field display with default country key given by you.
Assign points if this helps and resolved.

I would like to change the default country code for new Outlook 2013 contacts. My country is Mozambique (+258) and is not listed under Control Panel> Region> Formats> Format:
Is there any place (registry maybe, anywhere) where I can manipulate the existing formats or manually add a new format to the List ??? - for example Portuguese (Mozambique).
I am using Windows 8.1
I have tried changing the country on the phone and modem options and nothing changes. Also changing the Home Location on Region> Location to Mozambique didn't change a thing. The only place where I change something and produces results is the
Format List.
Any ideias???? If not, is there a place where I can ask Microsoft to include Portuguese (Mozambique) on future windows updates???

Windows uses the information set under
'Phone and Modem' in the Control Panel to determine the default area code.
You can change the country/region to
Mozambique
and set your area code here:

In system option when we slected Tax Method and select Location FF and in Miscell. TAB. we select default country. after we save. it generat 5 request. but usually after successfilly completion of this request. we can not change Tax method, Location FF and default country coz it become gray. where on my UAT instance it allows me to change after completion of 5 request. so what could be the problem?? and should i continue with my other settings??

How to setup default country

Dear All,
Can any one tell me how to setup default country as Saudi Arabia as if when ever there is a country selection LOV in the apps by default it will pick Saudi Arabia currently its picking United States.
For example When we try to create Supplier site or Customer site country come as United States whereas it should be Saudi Arabia so

Setting up "Default Country" profile is the right thing to do. (at least in 11i)
Set it at Site level; log out of the application and then come back in.
Since in R12, the supplier screen is web based, can you bounce apache server(s) and then try?

You cannot prohibit an iPhone owner from dialing numbers, but you can certainly make it much more convenient to dial certain numbers.
Place the convenient numbers in either Phone favorites, or make those numbers the only contacts the person has.
