Default currrency for customers...
hi all,
default currency is usd in customer master. but for some customers (in different distribution channel), i want to defaulted it as eur. how can i do this?

as you need only for a particular distribution channel
First of all maintain currency conversions in IMG
IMG -> net weaver->general settings-mainatian currency conversions
1usd = 30euros
so for those specific customers created in that distribution channel maintain euro
but if you have not maintained in CMR , yo ucan go with the condition record
now when you create a condition record for that distribution channel , inVK11 maintain currency as inr
In sales order, it will come as inr

in OB45, you can set a Risk Category and Credit limit amount for all newly created customers.
Problem is, this will create a record in KNKK even for customers who may have no reason for a credit limit.
For example: I want credit limits initially set for any Sold To.acct group 0001, but for Ship To (0002) or Plants (PLNT) I have no reason to create a credit limit.
So the question is: Why can't I OB45 for a specific Account group(s)? It's all or nothing, and this just doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know of another to way to accomplish this, beside just manually creating FD32 for each new customer?

let me divide your question into 2 parts:
1. In OB45, you can set a Risk Category and Credit limit amount for all newly created customers.
Problem is, this will create a record in KNKK even for customers who may have no reason for a credit limit.
1.A. it will create the credit limit for all the new customers created. In such case remove CCA for the new customer in XD02 and see. or go to OBD2 supress CCA and check.
2. So the question is: Why can't I OB45 for a specific Account group(s)? It's all or nothing, and this just doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know of another to way to accomplish this, beside just manually creating FD32 for each new customer?

Just as I said: in customizing is no default value definition.
Vijay's transaction is for definition of sales area - your original question was a little bit misleading, so don't wonder if some answers don't match what you <i>wanted</i> to ask. We start come completely without background information and have to guess a lot.
Default values are maintained in customer master data of a reference customer (which is a normal customer, used as copy reference in next XD01).

Dear All,
For some of our prominent customers we have designed specific PLD of Delivery Note document, but while taking print out we have to select that PLD and then take the print out.
Can it be possible to set Default PLD for customer or let say customer group in such a way that once transaction takes against that customer it takes its default PLD and we can take a specific print out for that customer.Hi
Follow these steps to assign as default layout
1)open the form(like PO,GRPO,etc) for which u need to assign the layout as default click on print layout designer u can see 3 layouts from this 2 are system layout and one is layout designed by u and select the layout which u need to make as default and click on set as default then u wiil be getting a default template select set as Defaults for specified user then that layout vil appear for those whom u have assigned k

AED need's to be varied for customers
Hi SAP Greats,
There is an issue of having the AED reconfigured so that by default I get 4% as default for customers and for some others I need it to be 2%.
When I modify the AED in the sales order to 2% it is not getting reflected when I do J1IJ which is taking 4% as default.

First you have to identify the Chapter IDs against which, the materials are being despatched. Next go to J1ID, place your mouse on "Excise Tax Rate" and again click on the "Change" button. There for the required Chapter IDs, maintain 2% as duty and save.
Now create sale order, delivery, billing document and excise invoice in J1IIN (not in J1IJ as mentioned by you). Update forum still you have any issue.

my wifi is grayed out... No one can fixed it...there is a problem with hardware. IC problem inside the phone. Apple have any facility like service after sales etc. Multi billion company but no priority for customers ? Just try to look at google search you can find lot of people who have same problem with iphone 4s. It is surly manufacturing default. Report Open balance for Customers back in time
Dear All,
I would like to have a question: How can I report Highest Balances for Customers back in time? So I have to list Date and Amount, in the last one year, when Customers had their Highest Balances (highest outstanding amount). I have a transaction that can show actual status but I cannot report it for a long period in the past.
Does anyone have an idea how could I do it?
It would be very helpful.

When i double click itunes it doesn't open it just comes up with an error saying " The itunes library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the 'itunes' folder in the 'music' folder. How can i fix this problem?

I'm still using CS2 Illustrator and Photoshop, for the little work I do in those programs, they're fine. But if I want to upgrade them to CS6 I have to pay the full amount of an upgrade, with no discount... or will I have to pay for CS6 in full for both of these programs?

Yes, you can do that.
If CS6 has the tools to basically go "File>Export>Epub" and I get a fully working epub file without having to trash about in code afterwards or make complex tagging in InDesign, then I'll be buying it.
It looks like EPUB is evolving pretty fast, so even if ID CS6 fully supports what you want out of EPUB on Day 1, I bet you'll need to be prepared to postprocess it on Day 2. Or at least long before Day 200. -
How to set up FSCM 9.0 Application for Customers to use ?

Hello. I have just installed FSCM 9.0 ( all of its modules) and run the application in Browser successfully. The Database is a clean System Database without any Demo data (Production Database).
In order for Customers to type in their data into the application, we need to set up CharFiled, SpeedType, SetID, common data in Controls Tables in the Database. In Menu, there is "Setup Financial/Supply Chain", and under PeopleTools, there is "Setup Manager". But I don't understand where to start to set up the application FSCM 9.0 application.
Do any folks understand the procedure to set up FSCM 9.0 application for Customers to use step by step ?

I have installed FSCM 9.0 all of 50 modules. I just want to implement General Ledger module. Thus, I create a project named "General Ledger" in Setup Manager under PeopleTools as follows:
PeopleTools -> Setup Manager -> Manage Implementation Project -> Create New Project by Product -> select "General Ledger" ->View Summary -> Save -> Type in "General Ledger" in Project Name Box -> Click ok -> click "generate setup tasks" -> click "setup task generation status"
It has been for a long time, I still see "Run Status" is always "Queued". The button "View Setup Task" does not become clear. This means the process is not completed.
Do we need to configure Process Scheduler at first before run Setup Manager ? If yes, how to configure Process Scheduler for Setup Manager to generate a list of setup tasks of a project ?

How do you invoke the default browser for Unix/OSX
Does anyone know how to programmatically display the contents of a URL in the default browser for a Unix system? I found a javaworld article on doing this using Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd). The article gives the cmd string for invoking the default browser in Windows, and for invoking the Netscape browser in Unix.
This can easily be extended to invoke any known browser executable in a known path on a Unix system; but I'd like to invoke the default browser without knowing what or where it is. I'm specifically targetting Mac/OSX, but any Unix solution is worth trying.
Is there a Unix command for launching the default browser to display the contents of a given URL? Or is there an alternative approach, rather than invoking Runtime.exec()?

This code detects the default browser on a Mac, and provides an elegant solution for trying standard browsers in turn for other Unix systems. Why does itunes override default settings for windows 7?
something is seriously wrong with my windows 7 / itunes interface.
when i click 'listen live' on kpfa (the ONLY station on which this happens), instead of going to my default setting for winamp, itunes jumps in and starts itself.
THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT! i have tried everything possible to make sure the defaults are correct, even going so far as to uninstall/re-install itunes to no avail. *** is itunes up to? when i want to use it, i will start it myself...and when and why did this change happen? this computer belongs to ME, not apple, not itunes. making changes to my computer without permission is ********. why can't i fix this?

I have two drop downs. Both are coming from look up fields from two lists. i want to set a default value(first list item) for the first drop down list box and then apply cascading based on the default value for the next drop down list box. where in i can set a default value but i can't apply cascading based on that default value. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

My laptop was updating itunes and turned off and every since when i try to load itunes it brings up a window that says
The itunes library.itl fie cannot be found or created. The default location for this fie is in the itunes folder in the Music folder.
