Default Folders in cFolder

Hello Experts,
I have defined default folders for cFolder in SPRO of SRM.
When I create a 2 envelop RFx and display the cFolder from the link in the collaboration folder, I only see a folder under Public area but none of the folders i had defined in the SRM config.
Am I missing any additional config here.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers - Akash

  • Why in Windows 8.1 do I have 2 different Profiles with identical default folders but each with totally different contents?

I want to backup my email messages and archives. I intend to them put into my 'Documents' folder for 'Cloud' backup and also into an external hard drive which I have always used in the past and, as a 76 year old with a new computer, 8.1 in place of XP and TB instead of Outlook Express, I just feel more confident about my external hard drive! I have TB 31 and Windows 8.1. I have set my computer to show 'hidden files and folders'. In username/AppData/Local there is a TB folder with 'Profiles' and it has my XXXX.default folder - but it only has a limited number of files and folders (Cache/cache2....). In username/AppData/Roaming there is also a TB folder with 'Profiles' and it has my same XXXX.default folder - but this contains a completely different and far more extensive collection of files and folders (4 different folders plus several MAB and SQLITE files and others). Why do I have two identical default folders with different contents? Do I have to save both of them? Can someone please explain/help, preferably in words that this 76 year old might understand.

Thanks Matt. Reassuring to this elderly user! I'll make sure I back up my Profiles xxxx.default folder from the Windows Roaming directory - but should I back up the (different!) TB contents from the TB Profiles directory in Windows Local as well?

  • IMAP Default Folders are "Not Yet Available"

Ok, I have exausted all of my troubleshooting abilities (I even turned it off and back on!)
I have three IMAP email accounts hosted on a server at Site5.  I can login, get mail, send mail, etc.  But the "Default Folders" are listed as "Not yet available."  meaning I can't specify a sent folder, trash folder, etc.
The odd thing is that the pre IS getting a folder list from the server.  On the main folder view, when I pull down the folder list for a specific account, I see ALL the folders, Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Junk, Sent, Trash, etc.  It even syncs the contents.
I have removed and re-added these accounts a number of times.  All with the same results.
I have a friend that also has a pre and Site5 accts.  He CAN setup his IMAP default folders.  Everything I can see looks identical between his settings and mine.
The Site5 server is running Courier IMAP if that helps any troubleshooting. When I telnet into the mail server I get:
OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 UIDPLUS CHILDREN NAMESPACE THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT THREAD=REFERENCES SORT QUOTA IDLE ACL ACL2=UNION STARTTLS] Courier-IMAP ready. Copyright 1998-2008 Double Precision, Inc.  See COPYING for distribution information.
Running WebOS Version 1.2.1  (Problem existed on 1.2.0)  I never tried on 1.1.
I'm moderately computer literate, so if anyone wants to help me tackle this problem, I have no problem running some commands in a SSH terminal (on the Pre, or the server.)  But you might have to tell me specifically what to enter.
    thanks,
    Craig

  • Default Folders Policy/Items retention period not respected ?

    Hello,
We have Exchange Server 2007 SP3 and we've set up a default folders policy to erase all mailbox content older than 31 days.
However in three mailboxes we've sampled this policy isn't properly applied : the mailboxes had mails newer than 31 days deleted ( some 20 days, some 28 days, mine had only 14 days old mails !
Can you please explain to me why this is happening?

    Thank you sir Allen
I ran the commands you mentioned
[PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrateur>Get-Mailbox "alias" | FL Identit
    y, ManagedFolderMailboxPolicy
    Identity                   : domain.com/Users/alias
    ManagedFolderMailboxPolicy : TestPolicy
    [PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrateur>Get-ManagedFolderMailboxPolicy "TestPolicy" | FL Identity,ManagedFolderLinks
    Identity           : TestPolicy
ManagedFolderLinks : {Entire Mailbox, Tasks, Notes, Journal, Contacts, Calendar
[PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrateur>Get-ManagedContentSettings -FolderName "Entire Mailbox"

    Name                      MessageClass              ManagedFolderName
    Preventing Del            IPM.Task*                 Tasks
I set the entire Mailbox to be deleted after 31 days, then creating managed content settings on tasks, agenda and contacts and uncheked the item retention period so that these items do not get deleted.
tried to go with only deleting items from the inbox but it didn't delete those in custom folders(each user creates his own)... the other method worked though

  • (Using Vista 32-bit) Under Profiles there are 2 .default folders w/some large files. Is there a way to clean this up to one default and put limits on sizes?

I have 2 folders under Profiles with many files. The number of and larger files are slowing my virus scans. The 2 folders are 1enhkbms.default and heql0bzl.default. Can I remove one of these default folders and how do I determine which one along with how do I do it? Can I put limits on file sizes too, ie. the urlclassifier3.sqlite file is 56KB in each folder and the scan seems to slowly slug through it.

It may be better to adjust your virus scans so that they do not check Firefox as frequently.
urlclassifier has been involved in memory leaks in the past, but I am not aware it causes problems at present. The file is involved with Firefox's phishing protection. I am guessing that as it has lists of problem sites the file looks dangerous to your AV and maybe because of that takes longer to check than other files of a similar size.
Unless you have reset Firefox, or have multiple versions and thus multiple profiles a default install ordinarily has just one profile. I usually recommend users disable rather than remove any such unwanted additional profiles. Renaming or deleting profiles with profilemanager may be dangerous in that you may very easily''' stop Firefox from working &/or destroy all your personal information (passwords and bookmarks etc)'''
The default profile is called default. The actual folder itself is xxxxxxxx.default, the xxxxxxxx represents a pseudo random string added to make the folder name unique. You should be able to delete one of the profiles, but make sure it is the correct one. (I suggest initially manually renaming it rather than deleting it).
The easiest method of discovering the current profile is to use
    * '''Firefox Button -> Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> <br /> [Show Folder]'''
On the other profile initially just rename it, add ''old'' in front of the name so it becomes ''oldxxxxxxx.default'' Once you are sure it is not needed you may delete it, and the best method to do that is by using the profile manager (remove the old from the name first) and be very careful that you delete the correct one. I suggest opening and trying each one first. NOTE profile names and folder names may not match. The safest method may be just to delete the folder manually.
(There is a file profiles.ini -- which should not be edited unless you know the rules it uses,-- that )

  • Custom Retention policies for default folders in Outlook

    Hello,
The following are the steps I've taken to create a retention policy for a user.Exchange 2013, outlook 2013
The problem is that even if I create a retention tag for a default folder, I cannot implement it. I've gotten retention tags for user created folders to work, but not the default folders.
Login to microsoft 365 as exchange Administrator
    Click Admin > Exchange
Click ‘Compliance Management’ on left side
    Click ‘Retention Tags’
Create desired retention tag by folder (choose default folder or user created folder)
Save each tag as it is created
    Click ‘Retention Policies’
Click ‘New’ to create a new policy
Add desired tags to policy and click save
To apply Retention Policy click ‘Recipients’ on left side
    Click ‘mail boxes’
    12.
Select user and click edit > mailbox features
    13.
     Select desired retention policy
    14.
    Save
Using this method I created a retention tag to delete mail in the junk mail folder after 14 days. I added the 14 day junk mail retention tag to a retention policy and applied
it to a user. But whenever I look at the junk mail folder it shows that the email will be deleted in 30 days --- not 14.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,
We can try to use managed folders to specify retention settings for default folders such as Inbox, Deleted Items, and Sent Items. See:

  • After moving datastores, default folders were created again +1

    Hello,
After moving all mailboxes from one datastore to another (Move space around) everyone's default folders got recreated (Except Inbox). So now everyone has, Contacts1, Calendar1, Tasks1, ect... The original folder still exists, however the folder class was
deleted, so each folder is classified as a message folder. I'm assuming this happened, because the folder class was lost, so exchange recreated the default folders with the correct classes.
I ran a power shell script and re-classified all the old default folders back to how they're supposed to be, however smart devices are only pulling information from those recreated default folders, among other issues. Since business was being lost, i went
through each mailbox and moved everything from contacts into contacts 1 and so on.
My question is, why did this happen, and more importantly, how do I get back to the original state? I cannot rename the default folders but I am able to delete the originals. I am open to any suggestion to get back to the original state.
I've tried other 3rd party apps to rename the folders such as mfcmapi, but I get errors.
edit: I'm running exchange 2013 on Windows server 2012 R2
    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

    Hi,
This issue usually caused by mailbox language settings after moving databases.
Please try to Close Outlook completely. Then run the following command:
    outlook.exe /resetfoldernames
That should reset the folder names. If this didn’t work, please refer to the Script for renaming Mailbox Default Foldernames back to original language in the following thread.

  • Managed Default Folders in Exchange 2007 - Urgent Help

    Hello All
My requirement is to delete the emails from the inbox older than 5 days for 5 to 10 selected  mailboxes.  so i have created an new Managed Content Settings under the
inbox from the Organization Managed Default Folders named "Inbox Deletion 5 Days"
Created a new managed Folder Name mailbox Policy and added the Inbox from the Managed Default Folder
Then from server configuration -->Mailbox Server --MRM -->schedule the managed folder assistant via  Custom schedule
Added policy in the 10 mailbox properties
Also, i have been forced to update the policy by start-managedfolderassistant - idenity Server name
But the old emails are still there in policy applied mailboxes before 5 days, am able to see emails which was received before 10 days and all.
i restarted the exchange mailbox assistant services and but luck.
Could you please someone help on urgent basis

Have you configured the server(s) to log the activity for the managed folders?
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb397218(v=EXCHG.80).aspx
Also, the first time you run the managed folder assistant if doesn't do anything more than "mark" messages. It's only on subsequent running of the MFA that "stuff" actually happens. And it's important to remember that the criterion
used by the MFA is the "modified date", so add that column to the Outlook view of the Inbox on those clients that are affected by the policy. There may be something "touching" the messages that's causing the modified date to change (think
    "brick-level backup, for one thing).
The log file will at least show you whether the policy's working and what the MFA thinks of the mailbox folders under the policy.
One other thing -- it's probably not a good idea to use the default "Inbox" folder. Create a new default managed folder named, say, "Inbox Delete after 5 days" and use that in your mailbox policy. That will afford you the flexibility
to have more than one retention policy for the same folder.

  • Default Folders Question

Is there some simple way to make Logic Pro automatically default to specific folders for specific items. For instance, all my QuickTime movies that I score to are on a SCSI drive, but when I go to open a movie, Logic always defaults to my system drive/movies, same with audio files which are on another SCSI, but Logic always defaults to my music folder on the Mac Hard Disk. Not the end of the world, but annoying and time consuming when I'm juggling projects.
    James

Or, if you want to invest a few bucks, you can maybe check this out: http://www.stclairsoft.com/DefaultFolder/
Already used it in os 9 and kept it in X, actually, I'm so used to this thing that I have a really bad time when working in computers that don't have it installed.

  • Default folders in iPhoto

    Hi,
Is there a place on the web where I can find a list with thedefault folders where iPhoto,  iTunes andiMovie usually place their file structure?
    Thanks a lot!

    Here?
By default your photos are stored in the iPhoto Library in your Pictures Folder.
The iPhoto Library is a Package File. This is simply a folder that looks like a file in the Finder. It's set up this way because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves.
    Want to see inside?
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
    Standard Warning:
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things,, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
    Concerned about accessing your files?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
Want to use another editor with iPhoto?
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
For specifics on iMovie and iTunes post on those forums.

    TD

  • Change default folders in contacts and add a contact!?

    Hi!
I can create a "newFolder" under contacts so far so good :-)
I can read the Folders with  get "Folders".... so i become all Folders under contacts...
Now i will write in my "newFolder" a new contact...
But i can only write in the Default Folder... :-(
How can i Change form the Default contact Folder to my own Folder "newFolder" so that i can write a new contact in this Folder?
    Best Regards
    Bernd

    Hello Bernd,
You can use the Parent property of the default folder to access the parent folder object and add your own folder there.
    The Namespace class provides the
Stores property which returns a Stores collection
object that represents all the Store objects
in the current profile. The Store class provides the
GetDefaultFolder method which returns a Folder object
that represents the default folder in the store and that is of the type specified by the FolderType argument.
This method is similar to the GetDefaultFolder method
    of the NameSpace object.
The difference is that this method gets the default folder on the delivery store that is associated with the account, whereas NameSpace.GetDefaultFolder returns the default
folder on the default store for the current profile. Also you may find the GetRootFolder method helpful.
Be aware, the Add method of the Folders class accepts two parameters. The second one allows to specify the type of the folder (in your case should be paased
    olFolderContacts).
    Finally, you may find the
How To: Create a new folder in Outlook and
How To: Create a new Outlook Contact item programmatically articles helpful.

  • Customize default folders

How can I customize the default folder icons Bb curve 8530. OS 5.0.0.654? The default folder choices are very bland and generic. For example I am using the green star folder for my financial apps when a folder with a pile of cash or a bank would be more appropriate. I love my BB and want it to have the same look as my laptop.

It would be nice if were but easy.  It isn't.  The different themes have different iconography.  There are a number of applications available that allow one to design their own icons but even with that there are icons that are set in stone.
BlackberryCool I believe has an app that allows for icon design within limitations.

  • Removing default folders in users home directories

My users have their home directories at /Users/<username>. I also created some directories there for users' websites and other things.
All users have only access by ftp (mail, webmail, web service, etc.), but it is never intended to use AFP or other things.
So my question is... can I safely delete the pre-set directories like Desktop, Documents, Library, Public, etc. ?
I was told that this is possible, but now have doubts as I closer looked at, for example, the Library folder. There are some .plist files and other stuff.
Before deleting them I want to get the statements of some experts

You can safely delete all of that stuff, and if they ever log in to the GUI again, Library, Desktop, and the necessary Library items will be recreated. Library and Desktop are the only ones the OS really cares about, and only then when a user is logged in to the GUI.

  • How do I change the default locations for the iTunes music and iPhone back-up folders?

My computer's hard drive is partitioned, with one partition having all of the Windows system files, and the other having all of my documents, music, videos, etc.  When I installed iTunes, it automatically created its music and iPhone folders on the Windows partition.  I've been able to change the default save folders for other programs to the second partition, but I'm having troubles finding this option in iTunes (I even went back and re-installed it to see if I could find it that way, but no dice).  Is there a way to change the default folders for the iTunes library and iPhone files?  It takes up A LOT of space on my Windows partition, so it would be very great to get that moved over.
    Thanks!

You can't selectively move individual folders withing the iTunes  folder, but you can move the entire folder to, say, an external dive. To delink the iTunes application to the new library location:
Open iTunes while holding down the Option key (Mac) or Shift key (Windows).
In the resulting dialog, click the Choose Library button.
Select the iTunes folder you moved to the external hard drive.
Click Choose (Mac OS X) or Open (Windows) and then choose the iTunes Library file inside .
