Default generate scripts in old style instead of ansi joins at designer lev

I have already deployed 1000 owb mapings and default it is showing intermediate result script in ANSI syntax.
Is there a way to change the a configuration property in OWB(ANSI SQL syntax condition to FALSE) for switching between ANSI SQL code generation and Oracle SQL at designer level instead of mapping level?

Hello Guys I have a problem that I can not get to the bottom.
Time Machine has suddenly stopped working it really slow to make up. Copy a few kb at a time and long hours it takes to close the back. (up to a few tens of megs, 10, 20 Mb).
I made the following list of tests that will follow along with the log file.
First of all I made a copy as root with Carbon Copy Cloner disk of the iMac. (So that they can go back in case of disaster)
Following the guides Pondini (pondini.org) I did the following steps:
1) Changed the internfaccia FW800 to USB hard drive (does not change anything, still slow)
2) Changed to another external HD for time machine with FW800 and USB (nothing changes still slow)
3) Recreated the full backup with Time Machine on either drive (still slow)
4) Reinstalled the 10.6.8 Combo Pack (still slow)
5) Re spootlight indexed with the disk (still slow)
6) At this point, in desperation I reinstalled on the internal drive of my iMac 10.6.8 creating a new user, User Migration Assistant from my hd clone with Carbon Copy Cloner. Recreated the full backup with Time Machine.
The first full backup is fast, but slow incremental backups are back (as to 'start a few kb at a time).
I compared the log files with those of my other machine with same configuration and I found these errors:
backupdir [19376]: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData (): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary.
mdworker32 [20950]: kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint () to catch errors logged as They Are.
You know help me? I saw that this error is from 10.5 to 10.7, but no one has found a real solution to the issue.
I never installed antivirus software and tried with different external drives COPN capacity equal to or greater than the external drive. Only at the end I tried to divide the external drive to back up into two parts by a 1.5 TB and 500 GB but with the same mistakes that I have described.

Ciao Ragazzi ho un problema a cui non riesco a venire a capo.
improvvisamente time machine ha smesso di funzionare va veramente lento a fare backup. Copia pochi kb alla volta e impiega tanto tempo ore per chiudere il backup. (backup di poche decine di mega, 10, 20 Mb).
Ho effettuato le seguenti prove che vi elenco di seguito insieme al file log.
Prima di tutto ho fatto una copia come utente root con Carbon Copy cloner del disco del imac.(in maniera tale di poter tornare indietro in caso di disastro)
Seguendo le guide di Pondini (pondini.org) ho effettuato i seguenti passaggi:
1) Cambiato internfaccia del disco rigido da FW800 a USB (non cambia nulla, sempre lento)
2) Cambiato hd esterno con un altro per time machine con FW800 e USB (non cambia nulla sempre lento)
3) Ricreato il full Backup con time machine su entrambe i dischi (sempre lento)

5) Re indicizzato con spootlight il disco (sempre lento)
6) A questo punto preso dalla disperazione ho reinstallato sul disco interno del mio imac il 10.6.8 creando un nuovo utente, Assistente migrazione utente dal mio hd clonato con Carbon copy cloner. Ricreato il backup completo con time machine.
Il primo full backup è veloce, ma i backup incrementali sono tornati lentissimi (come all' inizio pochi kb alla volta).
Ho confrontato il file log con quelli di un mio altro mac con la stessa configurazione ed ho trovato questi errori:
backupd[19376]: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary.
mdworker32[20950]: kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint() to catch errors as they are logged.
Sapete darmi aiuto? Ho visto che questo errore è presente dal 10.5 al 10.7 ma nessuno ha trovato una vera soluzione alla questione.
Non ho mai installato software antivirus ed ho provato con diversi dischi esterni copn capacità uguale o superiore al disco esterno. Solo alla fine ho provato a dividere il disco esterno del backup in due parti una da 1,5TB e una da 500 Gb ma con i medesimi errori che vi ho descritto.

I followed the steps you listed and also remove the files that were creating problems spootlight, including the audio plugin and the panel preferences file.
Then I stopped by the timemachine reindexed spootlight 'option in the preferences panel spootight privacy. After I restarted my iMac and formatted the external drive again, Time Machine and restarting a full backup. This morning after a quick full backup and disk indexing completed incremental backups are always slow. Proceeds with a few kb at a time. I resend you the log files and screen capture. My iMac is constantly backed up.

How can I apply a new style with a snippet and make DW remove artifacts of the old style?

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows XP SP3. My problem seems simple but the resolution remains elusive.
Let's say I am editing pasted-in text from MS Word that DW has auto-formatted. I highlight some text and use a snippet to enclose the text in h2.
Instead of deleting the former style and replacing it with h2, DW applies the h2, but copies the old style, enclosing nothing, and bumps it to the next line. If the old style included a paragraph tag, that throws in extra white space. For nothing at all.
Now, this seems like a minor thing, but it's not so minor when you are trying to quickly prepare a large document with various header styles. Having to make dozens of edits that I think should be completely unnecessary becomes a real burden.
Is there a way to enclose a bit of text in a new style with a snippet without having the old style stick around?

Maybe auto-format is not the correct terminology, but DW does interpret MS Word formatting in some way,and in a way I cannot control (well, I can to a limited degree). The term that popped into my head describing this process was automatic formatting.
I don't really want to paste in as text, then I have to touch everything. I mean, I do frequently end up touching everything in a document anyway, but if any decisions can be "automated," I like to at least give it a try.
DW makes mostly good guesses* about Word formatting (*or whatever mechanism translates word formatting to html in DW). Even if it is just a little wrong, it saves me a lot of time. <p><strong> can be converted to <h2> faster than text that only has a CRLF to distinguish it from surrounding text.
I'm not mixing any styles. I control the style absolutely. I would just like to know how to use snippets in a way that truly replaces the Word-suggested tags rather than preserving them for no good reason. Perhaps there is no way to do that, or I so fundamentally misunderstand snippets I am fooling myself.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I cannot seem to find the thread where people were discussing the recent problem Google introduced by forcing some versions of Safari to revert back to their old style Google layout and format...
I was told by a moderator (Zack T.) that I could post my "Fix/ Solution" to this problem here on the site but I can't find the original thread for this. So I am posting the "Fix" here as I'm still getting inundated with emails from people here and from Googles "help" forums asking me for this solution...
Could you please if possible leave this thread available for those people running Safari Ver 5.1.10 so that they can try for themselves this "Fix" without having to contact me personally over it, or can you (if needed) move this post to the appropriate thread...

The following is a "Fix/ Solution" that I have created that solves the problem for users of Safari Ver 5.1.10 that Google introduced recently where they now block older version of Safari from using the "Modern Style" layout and features of Google which they had been used to...
You can still use the "Modern Style" Google with Safari 5.1.10 via the "Develop/ User Agent/ Other" menu to switch to a "User Agent" that allows you to use the "Modern Google" however, there is no way to make this as the permanent "Default User Agent" in Safari 5.1.10 and it has to be done for each new tab you open and every time you startup Safari... which is not exactly good or helpful...
That's where this "Fix" solves that for you. This fix will make sure Safari 5.1.10 starts up and uses a custom "User Agent" that allows you to continue to use the "Modern Style" Google and not have to constantly change the "User Agent" via the "Develop" menu...
It also has the benefit over other methods that are about of using FireFox "User Agents" in that this fix creates a Mac specific "User agent" that means you get the correct pages from whatever it is you are accessing on the internet (The FireFox one causes some changes to graphics and page layout when used on a Mac)...
As long as you are certain you are using Safari Version 5.1.10 on a Mac running OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and they are all fully updated as far as they can be then this fix should work for you (it already has for several thousand other Safari 5.1. 10 users whom have tried it)...
INSTRUCTIONS.... Safari Version 5.1.10 Fix To Restore The "Modern Style" Google...
IMPORTANT !!! --- MAKE SURE SAFARI ISN"T RUNNING ---
Download the following DMG which contains the "Fix" for Safari Ver 5.1.10...

When you open the DMG file you will see a window that looks like this...

it to your Desktop screen to make a copy of it (this is both for safekeeping and in case the "fix"
doesn't work for you so that you can still restore the original file)...
STEP 3: Drag the file from the downloaded DMG window called "Safari" onto the folder in the
same window called "A"...
Now start Safari as you would normally and if the fix has worked you should once again be seeing the
"Modern" look Google once again. You should copy/ move the original "Safari" file you copied to your
Desktop screen to a safe place for storage (Downloads or Documents for example) in case you ever
need or want to restore the original file to Safari at some pint in the future...
IMPORTANT:- If you're still seeing the old version of Google in Safari after trying this fix then
unfortunately it hasn't worked for you and you MUST replace/ put back the
original "Safari" file you copied to your Desktop screen...
This is simple to do and is achieved by simply dragging the original "Safari"
file you copied to your Desktop screen onto the "A" folder in the "Safari Fix"
window...

I followed instructions from Carolyn Smith in another thread (see below) - but Safari did not start anyway. After that I discovered that Safari started when starting from /Program/-folder but not from Docks on the desktop.
So - throw away the old icon on the desktop and make a new one.

Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Safari
Move these files from the Safari folder to the Trash.
History.plist
LastSession.plist
TopSites.plist
WebpageIcons.db
Now go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to and the Webpage Previews folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.

Connecting kurzweil sp88 to GB I want to connect my Kurzweil sp88 to GB. The Kurzweil has a baffling array of buttons and possible MIDI channels. It also has the old style MIDI plug ins. I've got the MIDI out connected to my MacBook Pro via USB adapter.

I have my Kurzweil connected to my MacBook Pro via an adapter (old style MIDI from Kurzweil to USB adapter connecting to Mac). The Kurzweil has a baffling array of buttons and possible MIDI channels. First of all I do not own this keyboard. But a quick look at the manual (found on the internet) says that when first powered up the SP88 is in Internal Sounds mode. Meaning you hear the sounds selected when playing the keyboard. It also stated that the default Midi Transmit Channel is Midi Channel #1.
Looks like you would need to go to the SP88 Keyboard's MIDI SETUP and simply select LOCAL OFF. Now the keyboard should be ready to transmit Midi Out only and no internal sounds should be heard.
Next you may or may not need to do this but you might need to go into the Utilities Folder found in your Applications Folder on your Mac and double click AUDIO MIDI SETUP the keyboard Icon. Figure #1 below.
Next you need to make a physical connection from the Midi Out of the SP88 to the Midi In on your Midi Interface. Figure #3 below. You may need to Click on Add Device first. Figure #2 below.
In the examples shown below I have a Yamaha Electronic Drum Kit that is Midi Out only... not USB out. I had to plug a Midi cable from the Midi Out Port on the back of my Drum Module to the Midi In Port on the back of my Motu 828 Audio Inferface which is connected to my Mac. Next I created the Audio Interface and Drum Module "Devices" as mentioned above.
I then double clicked on the Drum Module and made my Midi Out Selections. Figure #4 Below. And once it was setup and the icons closed I used my mouse to draw a virtual cable connection from the Drum Module Out to the Audio Interface In. Figure #3 below. This is how I got my Midi Devices to talk to one another.
Once you have made your setup as I have outlined create a MIDI Instrument Track in Garageband, select an instrument for example a Piano then Record Enable that track in Garageband and see if you now hear what you are playing. In this example the SP88 is a Midi Controller only and you will only hear sounds selected in Garageband which is what you want.
Keep in midi your setup may be different than mine. You can keep your SP88 Keyboard on the default Midi Channel #1. That would be a good place to start. Garageband receives Midi on all channels.

The top bar changed when I downloaded firefox 5.o how do I get it to look like the old style? It also makes all my pages really zoomed out so I have to zoom in to see them.

Also every time I visit a new page it makes it really small so that I have to zoom in to see it which is annoying because before I downloaded 5.0 it was fine.
My computer is a toshiba laptop and I am using windows vista.

Your original had tabs on top, the current one does not. Also I note a dark background, is that some none default theme or persona, or a side effect of system display changes ?
I have noted others comment about pages needing zooming, no idea why that happens on some sytems, possibly something to do with the font changes.
I do not notice much difference between versions screenshot attached Firefox 4 and Firefox 6.0a2 open adjacent to each other.

Generate Script to Project doesn't generate CREATE OR REPLACE objects

I am using VS2008 SP1 with ODT. If I go to ServerExplorer to connected database and run Generate Script to Project the object (Package, package body , function ...) is always
created to the project as CREATE function myfunction.
I need to have it in this way CREATE OR REPLACE ... to run it against database.
Is there any way to configure it somehow ?

Hi there is currently no way to automatically generate CREATE or REPLACE instead of just CREATE. You'll need to manually modify the file to add the "or REPLACE" to the stmt or add a DROP line just before the CREATE stmt.

Timout expired error is coming while generating script in sqlserver

i try to backup my database from hosted server. so i generating scripts with data via wizard. after executing all objects ,one error is coming like 'timeout expired'. and i try to restore this script file in my local database. but many tables,stored procedures,functions
are missing. please help me how to take complete scripts correctly?

It’s a long running task and the default timeout is 30 seconds, The database seems to be too big for the generating script with data
feature.
Try to script big tables one by one if you still want to use that feature or use backup/restore as mentioned above.

Is it possible to call DEFAULT.LGF script From SEND and REfresh Schedules

Usually, when user sends data from an excel input schedule, Default.LGX logic script is automatically executed.
I'd like to have Default.LGF script executed instead.
Is it possible ? How ?
(I don't want users to launch DM packages).

As is mentioned in the other threads, the Default.LGF is the basis for the Default.LGX, which is run by each application at the point data is entered via the Excel interface. This file may call other LGX files using the *Include statement. The logic runs in against the scope of the INPUT members sent via excel. I don't think there is an efficient method to only run an INCLUDE statement based on a specific SCOPE sent during the data send process. The entire logic runs during the send, regardless of the SCOPE. If nothing in the scope is impacted by the logic, the logic doesn't "inteligently" realize this and stop; rather is proceeds with the whole logic process and writes zero records.
If you ONLY want to run a specific logic package on a sent logic scope, the current process is via Data Manager, or include the logic in default (which still runs in its entirety)

I'm trying to use an online backup system with my ISP.
They tell me my Java is likely corrupted and recommended an odd complicated procedure found on a 3rd party tips site, for restoring it from a shrinkwrapped OSX distribution (that would be 10.6 for me).
I've reinstalled the latest Java updates and Software Update thinks everything is fine.
Do these error messages from Console look familiar? Clues welcome.

both browsers and applications list these two, in this order:
Java SE 6 64-bit

Sorry, I don't know whether one of those is the "latest java" you suggest moving to the top. Can you point to a reference, or say a bit more?

ITunes 12 - old style Get Info using Shift-Click not working

I've become accustomed to using iTunes 12, but because I have for a number of years utilised most of the fields available in the older version Get Info screens (not available by default in iTunes 12) in order to create and manage smart playlists, I have been relying on retaining that access by using <Shift-Click> to bring them up. Alarmingly today I've attempted to access the old style Get Info screens only to discover that the <Shift-Click> option is seemingly not working!
As I hadn't heard of a change to this feature, nor can I find anything on the net about it, I am just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, and if so, does anyone know of a workaround? I keep my versions of iTunes up to date and recently downloaded the latest version (to 12.1.0.71), so perhaps a change was included in that update?
Without easy access to those fields I may as well give up iTunes and go fly a kite, so any advice will be gratefully received!

Access to the "old style" metadata editors has been dropped from iTunes 12.1 - I suspect that it was left in 12.0, with the shift right-click option, only because the new style editors were somewhat unstable/unfinished. In most cases all the fields that were available pre iTunes 12 are available in 12.1. Admittedly, the layout is a little counter-intuitive as you may have to scroll up/down, or expand the window by dragging one of its corners, to see everything. One issue that some have noted is that the available metadata elements are now more constrained based on media kind - for example, track and disc number fields that used to be universally available are no longer displayed or editable for TV Shows and Movies. There are also some strange inconsistencies - for example, that the Description element for audiobooks is only available for single items but not for groupings of two or more items, including albums.
For Music it looks like 12.1 has all the same fields available as were in iTunes 11. For a single song you get this (Details and Sorting tab):

Depending on the fields you use for your smart playlists you may find that the editors in iTunes 12.1 will work fine, though it may take a while to get used to the new layout. If there still is a "back door" to the old style editors in 12.1 I've not seen any reports of what it is!

How to generate JAX-RPC web services instead of JAX-WS webservices withOEPE? I am asking this because I need to pass xmlbeans generated objects as arguments in the web method. For JAX-WS there has to be a no argument constructor for it to be able to pass in theweb method. The workshop 10.3 was able to pass the xmlbeans generated object as the web service was implemented as a JAX-RPC web service....

1) either I switched to using JAXB in my apps instaed of xmlbeans....
2) or if I still wanna use the old JAX-RPC web services to deploy on the Weblogic 10gR3 server i will have to create my own ant task jwsc directly......as shown below in your docs

Differnce between DB Backup and generate Script

whats the differnce between DB Backup and generating Script of a database.
Please mention the main diffrence as we know while genearating script we can select tables/procedures of our choice instead of having all while in backup it takes full tables and procedures.

backup in SQL Server, such as full backup, differential backup, log back up, file backup and so on. It is recommended to back up database on a regular basis, as a well-planned backup
and restore strategy helps protect databases against data loss caused by a variety of failures. You can make
maintenance plans to back up database automatically.
However, generating scripts is not a disaster recovery option. If you encounter some failures about database, you cannot get data back by generating scripts.

Script renaming many styles in 5.5

I'm a total newbie on this, and I have tried searching the web and this forum ...
I have a ton of documents with hundreds of styles (char, para, cell and object), swatches and layers.
At least the styles need to be renamed when documents are converted from CS3 to CS5.5.
The styles are grouped and also the groups need renaming.
When the new naming structure is in place I want to use a delimited file with oldStyle and newStyle, as well as oldGroup and newGroup as a source. Styles or groups not present should just be skipped, but it would be great if styles not in the replace list could be listed in a separate text file ...
It is not necessary to perform the action on batches of documents, only the open active would be great enough.
Javascript is preferred as I have to cater for both platforms.
I'm not good at any scripting language, so please don't be cryptic.
So if someone is sitting on a readymade solution ... of course I understand I ask for a lot

This doesn't sound too difficult, but the solution will depend completely on the structure of your delimited file and of your style groups. Do any of the groups share names with any of the styles? Do any character styles, for instance, share names with any paragraph, cell or object styles, and, if so, will they get the same new name? Are there groups within groups? Will old style "header" in group "A" get a different new name than old style "header" in group "B"? These are the kinds of things you'll have to know before you can begin designing a solution.

There is one, it's called "System Preferences". And for items like the "Dock", you can use google to find the defaults code (i.e. 2D flat Dock for Mac OS X)
Most (not all) appearance issues can be adjusted to your liking.
With a little work, you'll have your iMac looking like 2005 in no time!
