Default language in identity management - please help

Hello all,
Is there a way to set a default language for every user (even users from LDAP) that login to portal ?
I know how to change the language in the 'General information' tab for a user - but i want
to set a default language for all users including LDAP users.
Currently the default value of the language is empty.
Is there a way to do it ?
Any help will be most appreciated !

However - this article explains how to set the desired languages in the list of languages, but
it doesn't explain how to set a Default language for all users.
I can narrow the number of languages in the language list - but still the language filed for every user is empty.
We use Netweaver 2004s sp15 and the default language is - no language (which means that the
browser language is the default).
The reason i want to set a default language is that our developers used Visual Composer to
create iViews - and the errors from BackEnd R3 systems are always in English.
Even when i set the language i desire as the Master Conneciton Language - the errors are still
in English.
We've noticed that only when we set the desired language for the user - only then the error is
displayed in that language.
I even changed the properties file of the portal, used ForcedMandatory Language - still
the language field is empty.
Is there at least a way to change multiple users' language ??

Refer this article to reset Winsock to it's default. Your PCTools may have inserted LSP.

After reset and restarting windows, you may get a prompt to remap LSP, click no.

I want default language to be english please.

I recently bought a Nokia lumia 920. The model number is something like RM-821-eu-denmark-251. I suspect the default language is set to the danish language. I don't understand this language and can't figure out how to make it English. Please can the device model number be changed? I can't read help files,understand calendars. Please someone should help me. Regards.

You may try changing the language yourself taking help from HERE
Go to settings-->language+region-->Phone language ...select ENGLISH -->Restart Phone ..

Itunes 7.5 does not open, but it shows up in task manager please help?

please help its been 2 months already and i cant sync my ipod cuz itunes does not open but it shows up on task manager.

Is there an error message associated with the launch failure?
If so, what does it say and what (if any) error numbers are there?
If there's not an error message, let's check your QuickTime (its well-being is a requirement for a functioning iTunes).
Go to the XP Start menu > All Programs and try running QuickTime.
Does it start?
If not, then the same question as for iTunes - is there an error message?
If so, what does it say and what (if any) error numbers are there?
Do you notice any other peculiar behavior with QuickTime?

I have a 5800 XpressMusic. Don't know if you need all the software stuff? But anyway... Using V 21.0.25. Not sure if it's relevant but I've only had this phone a week. However, the application manager did work at first. It just decided it'd stop working on Friday.
My laptop is Vista, service pack 2 and 32 bits. Connecting via USB.

Unable to see Default alias in Identity management

Hi Experts!!!!!
I have added a new system in the portal which connects my backend system, I have defined the system alias and in the screen it shows me the alias is ready for user mapping,
But i have selected SAPLOGON ticket, then the system is not visible in the identity management.But when i select uwidp the system is available for user mapping.Due to this the connector test gets failed.
I have seen in some of the posts and found that eu_role should be given in permissions i have done it.Does this needs server restart to make the changes to take effect.
What would be the problem I am able to see the alias in the other system when i selected SAPLOGON ticket.
After creating the alias do we need to make any changes?
I have followed the help document of SAP.

basically, SAP NetWeaver Portal offers two different Single Sing-on techniques to connect seamlessly with integrated backend systems.
1) SAP Logon Ticket
2) User Mapping
This are two totally different techniques to achieve the same goal: Single Sign-on.
Using SAP Logon Ticket, the SAP NetWeaver Portal issues an encrypted and signed HTTP coockie containing the portal user's logon id. The backend system checks the ticket and authenticates the corresponding user.
Using User Mapping, the SAP NetWeaver Portal uses previously given backend credentials (username/password) to log into backend application on behalf of the users. The user can enter his credentials either via personalization dialog (therefore the user needs the eu_core_role) or in identity management.
If you select SAP Logon Ticket the user does not need to map his backend credentials. That's why you do not see the system in the identity management (tab user mapping).
However, if you select User Mapping (UIDPWD) and run a connection test the SAP NetWeaver Portal tries to log into the backend system using the mapped credentials of the current user. If the current user did not map any credentials (or if he entered wrong credentials) the connection test will fail.

Altough I tried all different way I can not solve the my problem.
My problem is Turkish language problem in JSP.
If my jsp page use database applications such as push or pull data to my SQL 2000 database or call some datas from database, some data which contains turkish caracter are seen wrong. suc as �� is to ??????
what is the problem?
But important point is that; this is only Database data which come from sql database. But I can see JSP data or HTML data truly.

I have a similar problem.
My database is storing the characters correctly and they can be viewed in Java, but when I try to convert them to unicode using:
String inputUtf8 = new String(input.getBytes(),charset);
it works for almost all characters, but some come through as noncharacter "boxes."
The characters that come through as boxes in iso8859-1 are the ones that are in the "supplementary" character range of that set, such as:
- curved left and right quotes
- "TM" symbol
- bullets
- m dash and n dash

Any idea what I need to do to have these characters show up properly?

While processing Tcode prrw, I am geeting an error that posting run XXXX does not have a valid status. For eg Run no. is 29440.
1. When prrw is executed, run status is "selection is running"
2. Thereafter if we try to post it then system thrpws massage "posting run XXXX does not have a valid status"

29440 Trip Posting Selection is running
When posting run is posted then the error comes ""posting run 29440 does not have a valid status""

When it says "selection is running", it is trying to do something. Only when it is completed, it will have a valid status.

Oracle Express Batch Manager-Please Help me out-urgent

I have created a Relational Access Administrator project and mapped an Express Datamodel with RDBMS lookup and fact tables and created a Maintenance Procedure Using "Express Database Maintenance" from "Relational Access Administrator". After that when I tried to run that "Procedure" using "Batch Manager", it creates a Command definition file "~5848371.cmd" and nothing is showing in the "Job Monitor" tab of "Batch Manager". At the same time since it could not run the procedure, no Express database have been created to the specified path.
Please help me out, as I am in need for this very badly. I have gone through the document "Relational Access Administrator(User Guide)" from otn.oracle.com, but nowhere such type of problem have been addressed.

How do I change the default language for spell-checker please?

I have seen the instructions below but cannot find the Personalization section?
I currently have a US English spell-checker, I need a UK English one.
Changing The Default Language
Make sure you are on your homescreen.
Tap on the Settings app to open the Settings App.
Scroll to the Personalization section.
Tap on Language.

Have just found that if you select Install Language Pack but then, do NOT download it, just below and to the right of "Download Now" is "View other versions".
Click on that and the second item is Version28.0
Hover your mouse on that and you get " + Add to Firefox" - so select that.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my daughters phone
I cant seem to get it to access the internet it says unable to connect to the internet please try again later! however its connected to my home hub at the moment i have checked its saying its connected.
also when we try to set the email up its only giving 1 option which is a works email with enterprise server and my daughter just wanted to add her email addy she has had for ages

Vista OP--Curve 8330---no sync with desktop manager---please help

I have tried the following versions of desktop manager, 4.3 from disk and download, 4.5, and 4.7. Each new version was tried after clean reinstall. Vista OP. I click the sync configure. I get the select a devise application window. I click on any one of the choices, and get the following choices:

THERE IS NO OPTION FOR VISTA
I have read many suggestions on this message community which basically say try a different version. THAT DOESN'T WORK. Is there anything else anyone has tried that works with Windows Vista?

Desktop Manager does not recognize any bluetooth drivers (stacks) other than the basic Windows Bluetooth Stack. If you have another bluetooth stack in use, you'll need to remove it and let Windows install the basic bluetooth stack. The downside of this is that you loose some of the advanced features that your current bluetooth stack gives...extra speed, etc. However, that's the only way to make bluetooth work with Desktop manager.

Hi,
This is the bug in Oracle. Most of the times, restarting Oracle database may fix the issue.
Basically, an existing bug needs the oracle database restarts in a regular basis.
Restarting oracle database will flushes the database buffer cache.
