Default passwords after installation BPA Repository
I Installed the BPA Repository on my Windows server succesfully using an existing database.
Now I try to connect to the server using de BPA admintool. I connect to the server 'localhost' and password CFGADMIN. But the connection is refused because the password in not correct.
I am sure the repository is running because I started it manually (and the window doesn't show any errors and when I shutdown the repository I getting a server error when using the admintool instead of a password error).
What are the default passwords for configadmin and siteadmin?
What is the difference between siteadmin and configadmin?
Is localhost the correct one (I am running the BPA admintool on the server where the Repository is running).

I created 850 Portal users with the WWSEC_API calls in PORTAL30 and PORTAL30_SSO. I can logon with an account if manually reset the password for a specific user. But what is the default password of a user after creating it with the API calls ? I tried "password" and the username, but that didn't work.The WWSEC_API should not be used to create the user account in the SSO schema. As you noted the WWSEC_API calls do not set the password - these are intended to be used only for setting up Portal profile information. Cant log into R12 default site after installation !!!
Hi all,
I have installed R12 on windows 2003, the post installation was successful and i was able to see the test site but it was couldnt log into it because of java error.
Then i restarted and now i cant get into it default site any more. Try to restart the apache service but i couldnt find it.
I am able to ping both the host and the fQdN without any problem

This is the last paragraph of the error code as i cant display all because of the restriction, i really dont understand what going on though. My guess is there is a problem with some java script not applying properly.
But i will welcome any suggestion or possible solutions.

Restoring Default Fonts After Installation Issues
I tried to install a bunch of fonts on my new MacBook Pro. When I was installing them it warned me that a few fonts had problems. Then it hung up for several minutes before crashing. I would very much like to get my machine back to the default factory-installed fonts. Is there a simple/fast way to do this without messing up anything?
Okay, here's what I learned from AppleCare.
Before doing this go to Library>Fonts and drag the fonts folder to your desktop to back it up. Then proceed with the following.
1. Go to Applications>Utilities>Directory Utility.
2. Enable the Root User by going to Edit>Enable Root User.
3. Log out and log back in as the Root User.
4. Go to Root's home folder>Library>Fonts.
5. Trash the fonts folder.
6. Log out and log back in as your normal user.
7. The fonts should rebuild themselves.
8. Be sure to go back to Applications>Utilities>Directory Utility and disable the root user to prevent other problems. -
I'm unable to access my laptop, I'm asked to provide a password after reinstallation of OS although I have no password before the installation. How can I open my system again?

Don't know the DEFAULT password of Developer Suite database 10g
After i install Oracle10gR2 i have one database sit on my hard drive already.
But then i install the Development suite 10g they install one more database for me...
The second i don't have option to set the password or account during the installation...
So i just cannot get in the DevSuiteHome1 database... i don't have password of the sys or system account....cause i don't even have chance to set it.
Does anyone here know what's the default password of sys or system account?
(P.S. the SYS/CHANGE_ON_INSTALL or SYSTEM/MANAGER all doesn't work at all)
If anyone can tell how to use the 10g forms builder connect to the OraDb10g_home1 database rather than the DevSuiteHome1's one also great!

Forms doesn't install it's own database during install of 10g iDS. So that's your problem. You can't connect to a database that isn't there. What you can do is connect to the other database you already have configured. You'll need to update the tnsnames.ora file in your DevSuiteHome1 Oracle Home. It is located in the network/admin directory under that Oracle home.
If you're not sure how to set this up, you'll need to either manaully enter the info from your database tnsnames.ora file. A lot of times, you can just copy the contents of the file over from the database side to the DevSuiteHome1 side. Back up the other one though just in case your situation is different.
If you want to use a GUI, you can use the Net Configuration Assistant tool for the DevSuiteHome1 Oracle Home. It works well if you know the specifics of your setup like hostname, database listener port, etc. Forms will make a SQL*Net connection to your database.

since you spoke about the Business Process Repository and accessing it from remote, I assumed that you have a full version of BPA Suite 11g. As far as I know remote access is not possible with the evaluation version.
However you should be able to run it on your hostsystem. Please open the Admintool from the startmenu and enter the following commands (assumed you have a typical installation):
No connection<aris>> server LOCAL SITEADMIN
After a few minutes you should see something like: "LOCAL<aris>>". If this is the case you know that your installation was successful. Enter the command "list" and you'll see the ARIS databases that are currently on the server. Afterwards start the Business Architect (on the host as well) and add a server named LOCAL...

We require to change the default password of user id SAPCPIC in
client 001 of our ECC 6.0 and 4.7 Production system.

The user SAPCPIC is created as a u201Ccommunicationu201D user at the installation and is utilized especially for EDI. The standard profile S_A.CPIC restricts the access to the use of RFC.
This user is coded into the function module INIT_START_OF_EXTERNAL_PROGRAM together with his standard password. This needs to be considered in case of password changes for this user.
The standard password for this user directly after the installation is ADMIN.

Manual setup of e2500 default password and network do not match documentation ?
Advance user/network engineer/firewall engineer just bought an e2500 (have been using wrt54G's for years)...
first issue... documentation is incorrect as the default network/admin webserver IP address is 192.168.0.1 not 192.168.1.1 as all the documentation i could find indicates.
I really don't want to install the Cisco Connect "bloat-ware" on my PC...the documentation also says the default login is no user ID and password="admin"...this not correct. I have checked everything i would normally check...caps-lock...typed password into notepad... cut/past into browser etc....no luck on manually connecting with browser...after failed logins I get a 401 error
Any ideas before I take this thing back and switch to a NetGear ?

I did not have any documentation in the box. I had the setup CD that was marked "Run This CD First". I followed the brief instructions on the CD cover and the installation process came to a complete stop during the "Checking for Updates" phase at the beginning of the process. I have no idea what the Cisco Connect software does or if I even need it. I even downloaded the updated version from this website and had the same result.
I had an old shortcut saved on my desktop that allowed me to manage the old WRT54G router that led to http://192.168.1.1/ . Out of curiousity I tried the link and luckily ended up at a webpage that looked very much like the router management page that I was used to with my old router -- only better. I have been using it with no problems. I'm able to control the password and number of allowed users of the guest settings (I have seen other posts saying they couldn't do so). I don't know if I am missing anything by skipping the Cisco Connect software, but the router is working great for me!
Oh -- and the default password for me was the very same as the default password on the WRT45G router: Leave the name area blank and use "admin" as the password.
Hope that helps, and if anyone can tell me if I'm missing anything important by not using the Cisco Connect software, please let me know! -
What is the default password on Pet Store 1.3 when rebuilt?
I am unable to log into either the administrator client or the receiver application after rebuilding the WebLogic Server Pet Store Application. Neither jps_admin/admin nor rsvr/rcvr works. I saw a post referencing security.xml, but that file does not appear to be in this package
The default passwords worked when I used just the Pet Store template and prebuilt application, but the admin client would wait forever trying to get data, even when the client was ran from the same box as the server.
I am running WebLogic Server/Express 7.0 with SP7 for RHEL on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Update 3 x86.
What should the default login names be? Or even better, if someone has seen the admin client unable to get data, how do you solve that?On my painfully new 11.1.2 install, and per the install instructions, the username and password are as follows:
epm_admin
whatever you set up -- (As I only ever use one of three different ones when I do installs, it wasn't too hard to go through all of the possibilities)

SAP ECC 5.0 after installation does not start.
I have installated ECC 5.0 - ABAP Stack in my PC which has 1 GB of RAM and enough hard disk resource. when i start SAP system from MMC it starts and then shuts down after some time. all my work process die one by one.
