Hi All,
I have attached some document to the document management system , with various format. So i want to take the print default based on the format.
How can this be achieved.

Thirupathi

Hi Thirupathi,
I dont think this can be achieved within SAP.
You need to have a document converter software like XDC server conversion.

    Clips from JVC Everio camcorders have always had this problem with Premiere Elements (all versions). You need to select Interpret Footage.
    See this FAQ from PE version 2, step 3. Like I said it has been this way with all versions:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc1265c
    You might be able to use this tool to change the header of your MOD files so they are seen as 16:9: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDPatcher
    Or use this program (SDCopy) to download the video's from the cam, it will allow you to copy straight from the cam to your PC and auto renames and corrects the aspect ratio.

  • My default print size has changed to 130%.  I have tried everything to change it back to 100%.  Any suggestions?

    My Mac Mail default print size has somehow changed from 100% to 130%.  I have tried everything to change it back to 100% with no resolve.  Help!

    I'm using Tiger right now, but I believe Leopard is the same. Select Page Setup from the Menu. Input 100% in the Scale block. Then at the top of the Page Setup window, click the arrow on Settings & change from Page Attributes to Set As Default.

  • The default print size on Pages is too small - how can I program it to be larger?

    The default type size in Pages is too small - can I permanently size is larger? Thank you.

    Hi Ellis,
    When you say the default font size, is this set by the template you use for a new document? If so, create your own. Open a blank template, set the font size, and Save as Template... with a new name.
    In Pages > Preferences > General > For new Documents > Use Template.
    Choose your template. When you open Pages, it will open that template.
    File > New will also open that template.
    The font of a document from someone else has been set by the author of that document. You will have to change it.
    Also, have a look at View > Zoom. Perhaps the font is not small, but your view of the page is small.

  • Changing default printer size settings

    I have a PSC 1610.  Since I printed off some 4x6 photos, the default setting now is 4x6.  I can temporarily change to letter size via HP Solution Center. How do I change the default settings to letter?I

    Go to http://127.0.0.1:631/printers/
    Click on your printer. Make sure it is the printer, not the scanner if you have an all-in-one.
    Chose "Set Default Options." Change the size there.

  • Default print size on Safari

    Print on Safari set to A4 and I must reset each time ... other applications are ok, how can set US letter as default??

    Hi,
    Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
    Move the com.apple.print.PrintCenter.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash. Relaunch Safari. Try US letter.
    If it works for you, try deselecting: Print  headers and footers

  • Insert Symbol, finding Pages Help Menu and Set Default Print Size

    I'm having a hard time doing the following:
    1. Inserting a vertical line that I used to find in Word by going to Insert > Symbol
    2. Preventing Pages from defaulting to #10 Letter (which I used recently) but seems to be the default size (but not the default Pulldown page type for some weird reason). I guess I'm just not sure how this is all working.
    3. Where do I go for the Program's Help Menu in Mac? I seem to go to the Help Pulldown at the end but when I type in a word I seem to get answers for Mac as a whole and not just for Pages, which is what I want.
    TIA.

    On French keyboards, we get it with option + shift + l
    It would be a good idea to enter the System's Preferences Pane entitled "Language and Text"
    Then trigger the newly installed menu item in the menu bar.

  • How do I change the default paper size for printing?

    I am running Firefox 3.6.3. Recently, the default paper size for printing unexpectedly changed to a user-defined size of 3.00" x 4.57". It used to be letter size (8.5 x 11). The default paper size is 8.5 x 11 for everything else. I have tried changing the size in the preferences dialog box and then clicking "default", but after I close Firefox or if Firefox opens a new window, the default size switches back to 3.00" x 4.57". Does anyone know how to fix this?

    In "mine" dutch firefox 3.6.12 there is no option to change paper-size see
    "about:config" Promise to be careful (and be!) Enter "print.postscript.paper_size" gives a empty screen
    "paper_size" gives a few results

  • How do I change the default paper size in Firefox if Printer Properties does nothing?

    I print on different including a receipt printer with roll paper.
    I had to reset Firefox yesterday because of a bug, and then changed the Printer Properties to be able to print again in the right format on the receipt paper. But now everything I print from Firefox (even when I change the paper size to Letter on the Printer properties for the regular printer) is in the receipt paper format (long and narrow.) When I do Print Preview, I can see that the paper looks like the roll paper, even if I'm trying to print on letter size.
    I tried resetting both printers with about:config, I tried changing in the printer properties for both printers and nothing works.
    Is there a way to change the default paper size in Firefox?

    Hello,
    My understanding is that Firefox uses the global printer settings. I am not familiar with the Windows 8 interface, but can you change the printer settings in its Devices and Printers and see if it changes the default for Firefox as well?

  • Can Reader pick up the Default Page Size of a printer that is not the Windows Default Printer?

    We have a web based application that generates PDF documents via Crystal Reports.
    We are using Adobe Reader 8
    The PDF pages are displayed within an Internet Explorer window where the the users then print the document.
    The application is designed so the user only gets one chance to print the document (ie they cant come back and change printer settings if they happen to print the document out incorrectly)
    The document needs to be printed on A3 paper, full duplex.
    We have a printer set-up decidated to the printing of the documents generated by this application.  The default page size of this printer is set of A3.
    If we set this dedicated printer as the Windows Default Printer we have no problems at all.  The default page size (A3) is picked up and the document is printed correctly.
    If any other printer is set as the Windows Default Printer (eg one that has a default page size of A4), the users must obviously select the correct printer from the Print Dialogue Box -however when the user selects the dedicated A3 printer, the page size remains as A4 (page size of the Windows Default Printer).  This means the user must remember to change the paper size to A3 each time.
    Out users find IT a struggle at the best of times - anything that makes the process simpler is very welcomed!
    Is there a way to ensure the default page size of the printer is respected when that printer is not the Windows Default Printer?
    Thanks!

    No.

  • Change default paper size on Preview when printing

    When I open the print window on Preview (ver 7.0) to print a .pdf file, the default paper size is always A4, which I never use; I use US Letter instead. Is there a way to change the default paper size to US Letter so I don't have to change it every time I print or forget completely? I tried looking under Preview preferences, but no luck.
    I use my MBP in the Japanese language (in Japan they use A4 as main paper size), but I live in the US. Is this the cause of this problem?

    Having the region set to Japan will have set the default to A4 but you can change it by opening Printers & Scanners and changing the setting "Default Paper Size" from A4 to US Letter.

  • Default page size for printing

    Is there a way to configure (i.e., specify non-programatically) the default page size to use when printing in Java? We have several JREs installed on a single Solaris machine. It seems that all but the one that came installed with the OS defaults to a an ISO-A4 page size.
    I wrote a test program (see end of post) and compiled using a 1.2.2 JDK. Here are some results:
    $ /usr/java/bin/java -cp . PrintPageFormat
    Java version: 1.2.2
    Page size: 612.0 x 792.0 pts
    $ /opt/java-packages/jre-1.4.0_04-solaris-i586/bin/java -cp . PrintPageFormat
    Java version: 1.4.0_04
    Page size: 595.0 x 842.0 pts
    $ /opt/java-packages/jre-1.4.2_08-solaris-i586/bin/java -cp . PrintPageFormat
    Java version: 1.4.2_08
    Page size: 595.0 x 842.0 pts
    $ /opt/jre-1.5.0_04-solaris-i586/bin/java -cp . PrintPageFormat
    Java version: 1.5.0_04
    Page size: 595.2755813598633 x 841.8897399902344 pts
    I've searched the Internet, but cannot find how to go about setting the default page size for a JRE. I've opened a ticket with Sun, and was told you can't do this other than programatically. It seems unreasonable that I would have to recompile my existing applications just to get them to work correctly under newer JREs. Is Sun's response to my ticket correct???
    Thanks in advance!

    ============================================================
    import java.awt.print.*;
      public class PrintPageFormat
          public static void main(String[] args)
              PrinterJob pj = PrinterJob.getPrinterJob();
              PageFormat pf = pj.defaultPage();
              double w = pf.getWidth();
              double h = pf.getHeight();
              String version = System.getProperty("java.version");
              System.out.println("    Java version: " + version);
              System.out.println("    Page size: " + w + " x " + h + " pts");
      }

    This problem was fixed by setting the locale variable LC_CTYPE to "C" or "en_US". The JREs 1.4.0 and above deployed on our Linux and Solaris environments all have the system property 'java.awt.printerjob' set to 'sun.print.PSPrinterJob'. This is a subclass of sun.print.RasterPrinterJob which in turn is a subclass of java.awt.print.PrinterJob. So, PSPrinterJob is the actual class of the PrinterJob returned by PrinterJob.getPrinterJob(). Looking at the code of RasterPrinterJob:
            /* Default to A4 paper outside North America.
            String defaultCountry = Locale.getDefault().getCountry();
            if (!Locale.getDefault().equals(Locale.ENGLISH) && // ie "C"
                defaultCountry != null &&
                !defaultCountry.equals(Locale.US.getCountry()) &&
                !defaultCountry.equals(Locale.CANADA.getCountry())) {
                double mmPerInch = 25.4;
                w = Math.rint((210.0*ptsPerInch)/mmPerInch);
                h = Math.rint((297.0*ptsPerInch)/mmPerInch);
                newPaper.setSize(w, h);
                newPaper.setImageableArea(ptsPerInch, ptsPerInch,
                                          w - 2.0*ptsPerInch,
                                          h - 2.0*ptsPerInch);
            }This should have been fairly obvious. Java's locale settings depend on the platform's locale settings (i.e., LC_ variables in this case), and then the default page size is determined (or actually altered) based on that.
    I'm kicking myself for not figuring this out much sooner. I would hope Sun is, too! (not me, themselves)

  • Change Printer Default Page size to A4 from Letter in Firefox

    Firefox overides printer default page size every time I print. I need Firefox to print to A4 but it automatically sets the Page size to Letter. I have to manualy change the size each time I print.
    There are no options in Firefox to change this setting permanently. I am running the latest version of Firefox on Windows XP.
    In control panel the default page size is set to A4 which Internet Explorer and other applications use correctly.
    Thanks,

    I solved it! For anyone having a similar problem try this.
    Change the default printer, choose another one.
    Change something in that printer and close firefox.
    Reopen firefox and choose yet another printer (not the first one).
    Change something in that printer and close firefox again.
    Reopen firefox and choose the first printer. Select A4 as default paper and close firefox one last time.
    Reopen firefox and the problem should be gone. Weird, innit?

  • How can I change the default page size for the Adobe PDF Printer?

    Hello All,
    I have cases where I need to switch the default paper size from 8.5x11 to 11x17 via api for the Adobe PDF Printer and have not been able to find how this can be accomplished.
    I am using C# .Net and would appreciate any help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bob

    There is no Acrobat API for this, but so far as I know there doesn't need to be. The user can go change this from the Printers Control panel as needed. The Adobe PDF printer has some differences from regular printer drivers, but this isn't one of them.

  • Print size does not default to form size when printing PDF form.

    So, we have created an interactive new client form for our firm. The form was created in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 and is set to legal size (8.5 x 14). After the form was completed and exported, it was filled out for testing and printed. During the printing process it was noticed that in the print dialog box, the dimentions for the form were wrong. It showed that the default document size was 8.5 x 11. Where and how is this changed in LC?
    A new form was created (starting from scratch) with the document settings set to legal again, and inside of LC in the PDF preview panel, I tried to print and the same thing occured.
    Please advise as how to set the document to its default size when printing without have to do it in the print dialog box.

    The print dialog doesn't display the forms dimensions but those of the currently selected paper format of your printer.
    If you change the page format in the printer driver the diemensions in the preview will change too.
