Default sharps in score window instead of flats?

Hi,
Can I change the default notation( in Preferences?) in the score window in that way that when inserting "notes-in-between" they get a sharp symbol instead of a flat symbol. f.e. a G sharp instead of a A flat? Now the dfault notationis in "flats"

All I can find relating to this is to do an enharmonic shift to convert all the flats to their equivalent sharps:
To enharmonically change the root of chord symbols
Select the chord.
Do one of the following:
Choose Attributes > Accidentals > Enharmonic Shift: # (or use the Enharmonic Shift: # key command, default assignment: Shift-Page Down).
Choose Attributes > Accidentals > Enharmonic Shift: b (or use the Enharmonic Shift: b key command, default assignment: Shift-Page Up).

So I have Firefox open, and I've tried to open tabs by right clicking and choosing "open in new tabs", but it opens in a new window instead. And yes, there are no problems with being able to open new tabs by pressing the ctrl t.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Universal Worklist items open in new window instead of existing frame

After our recent upgrade we noticed that workitems in Universal Worklist open in new window instead of existing frame. Do you know if there is a system or universal setting to make all the workitems open in existing frame? I know we can change the settings for parameters launchInNewWindow and openInNewWindow to "no" in XML files to fix this. However, my concern is that I would need to do this for each and every task we use. (still doable but wondering if there is simpler solution)

We downloaded uwl.standard.xml from UWL admin. Made a copy and renamed file. Changed all "launchInNewWindow" from "yes" to "no". Uploaded new file in UWL admin. Re-registered systems, cleared cache. Not sure what exact line changed the behavior but the workitems no longer open in new window.
We are still experimenting with file in our sandbox environment.

Opening a URL/File in new window instead of new tab

I think I know the answer to this, but I'd like to check anyway. When setting an action to Open URL or File for a button/click box/hyperlink/etc, is there a setting in Captivate to open the URL/File in a new WINDOW instead of a new TAB? I know to use the "New" setting along with the Open URL or File action. I assume opening in a new window instead of a new tab by default is going to depend on the settings of whatever browser you use, but like I said, just wanted to check. Thanks!

If you open it in javascript and specify a height/width or location it should open in a new window.

When I open a new window, it opens behind the exist ing window instead of in front of it. How can I fix this?

When I click on a link and I choose the option to open link in a new window, it opens behind the currently open window instead of in front of it. This is a real nuisance. Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?

There are several possible reasons why the new window opens in the background and not in the foreground by default.
# another installed program is causing this
# the Firefox main window is set to Always on Top
# probably a Windows 7 bug

What you can do is
# update your Windows 7 to the latest security patches
# open Mozilla Firefox in Safe Mode (see KB article [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]])
# evaluate the other programs installed on your computer
# open new links on a new tab

Firefox homepage button opens new window instead of new tab

When I hit the homepage button on the Firefox toolbar, it now opens a whole new window instead of a new tab. It used to work until I upgraded to Firefox 9. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

When I open a link in a website it opens as a new window instead of just staying on the same page

In any website, when I click on a link it opens in a new window.this even occurs in google when I click any of the results it opens in a new window instead of just staying on the same page.tabs work fine however, it is just links on websites.

Links open in new windows instead of tabs.

When browsing the internet, if I'm using a browsing session from a previous day, when I select to open a new link as a new tab, it will open in a new window instead.
In my case, I put my work computer to sleep yesterday evening and started using it again this morning. Now all my links try to open in a new window even if I specifically choose to "Open Link in New Tab".
This is extremely annoying.

Firefox opens new windows instead of tabs on my mac laptop not on my PC

Firefox 3.6.8 opens multiple windows instead of new tabs no matter how I select the options in preferences. This happens on my Macbook Pro but not on my Windows PC.

You can also try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the [[Safe mode]] start window.

Firefox freezes temporarily when I click on a tab, then opens that tab in a new window instead.

I thought it was related to a specific website but then noticed it happening on others. The browser freezes and then opens whatever tab I'm on in a new window instead. It's quite annoying.

Home button opens a new window instead of just returning active tab to home

Running firefox 9.0.1 on Snow Leopard. After browsing for a short time clicking on the home button opens a new window instead of just returning theactive tab to home

Forefox won't open links in a new tab, they open in a new window instead.

I just updated to the newest version of Firefox (says 3.6.11 in "About Firefox"). Links now open in new windows instead of tabs in the same browser window. My settings are set to do this but it doesn't work.
Someone said the AskToolbar extension was the problem, but I went to Tools-->Add-Ons and saw that I didn't have that extension. Anybody know whassap? Thanks!!

Since Firefox just upgraded, every LINK opens in a new window instead of a new or current tab. PLEASE HELP

Since install of version 3.6.8, every link I click on opens a new window instead of the current or new tab. No changes in my settings were made. I had no problems until the 3.6.8 was installed.

Searches pop up in new window instead of tabs now

In the last couple weeks, if I do a search on my homepage MSN, the results show up in a new window instead of a tab like they used to. It doesn't happen with any other page, ie Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc. I contacted MSN and they say it is a Firefox issue.
I checked in my options and I have the option set to open new windows in tabs instead but it still keeps happening. It wasn't doing this a couple weeks ago when it didn't before.

Score Window goes back to full

Ever since i have owned 7, i have never figured out how to solve this annoying new problem. Among others, i like to have a score window open along side of an arrange window. With the chain link on, i click on a lick i just recorded , but unless i DOUBLE click the object, i often see the FULL score instead. Even when i fiddle with different chain configs, it always sneaks into this mode where the score window wants to display a FULL score. In thick arrangements with a lot of unmerged licks, the result has even crashed the song on some occations. If this is solvable...then WHY didn't i seek help before? Please help.

Make sure that you have the Yellow (Show Contents) link enabled, not the Pink one and lock the screenset.
