Default User Name in Person Responsible

Hi All,
If the User opens any Transactions to Create - By default his id or his name should be picked up , More over again it should not be Editable , it shoudl be Grey Mode. where i could do this setting . Do guide me.

Hi Amrita,
You can do this by adding new partner function 00000022 Person repsonsible to parnter determination procedure which is assigned to your transaction type.
In the details of the new partner function 00000022 Person repsonsible select the check box Block entry on interface and select the access sequence 0004 From user.Give no of accurances lowest and highest as 1.
Go to user interface settings and add the partner function 00000022 Person repsonsible

Hi: gurus, I just recently installed the oracle 10g personal edition and trying to log on to the enterprise manger, but can't figure it out the user name and password, can some one help me and tell me what is the default user name and password to logon to the oracle instance. BTW during the installation I choose two passowrds one for the schema and one for the global database orcl. I wonder will I be using one of these passwords. Still I don't have any clue for the "User Name".

system/manager and sys/change_on_install are still valid default passwords when database is manually created. If DBCA was used, passwords will be those defined at creation time inside DBCA.
In case passwords have been forgotten, those can be reset:
From an OS commnad prompt, set ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME and PATH environment variables, just to make sure you are pointing to the right Oracle Home installation, and issue:
OS> sqlplus / as sysdba
SQL> alter user sys identified by yourNewSysPassword;
SQL> alter user system identified by yourNewSystemPassword;
And you're done with it.

Default user name and password on Stor.e Tv

Hey,
I just bought a 2tb stor.e tv unit and have moved all my files onto it,i am trying to access it over the network and it is asking me for a user name and password but i have never set one!!!
Does anyone know the default user name and password OR do you know how i can set one up?
Also has there EVER been a firmware update for this thing?
Best thing i can tell is that there has not been one since 2010.

From my knowledge the StorE TV is not secured with any passowords.
I think that you should try to set Stor.E TV to its default factory setting.
To do that, you have to go to the Setup -> General Setup -> Default.
But if it fails and the Store TV is not able to boot then this may be a hardware malfunction.

Default User name & Password for NETWEAVER

              I am a Basis Admin in my company working with ABAP Stack installed in my Server.
       Now I have installed Java Stack for Netweaver in a Separate System to Understand the Functionality of Netweaver & its Concept.
     Now the Problem is i am not able to Login Netweaver. I dont know the Default User name & Password for Netweaver after installing it.
    Also, what are the Main features of Netweaver Compare to ABAP Environment
Could somebody help me to Understand Netweaver and its Default User name & Password to login?

The default asmin user for your Java add in would be J2EE_ADMIN and guest user would be J2EE_GUEST.
The default password would be the password you provided at the time of installation.

After Complete Instalation I had started PointBase then start default Server Domain1
when I try to start the deploy tool for that wht is username and password 'coz while installing server it doesn't ask me for user name and password for domain1......
even same in apllication server .... username ==?? and pwd =??

Can't change default user name on Authentication dialogs

Due to a corrupt user account, I had to create a new user account. I specified a "2" at the end of my full name i.e. "Full Name 2" because I couldn't use the same full name as the corrupt account.
I still haven't deleted the old corrupt one yet just in case I need something, however, now that I am using the new account I renamed the new account to "Full Name" without the "2" at the end of it, but for some strange reason OS X still uses "Full Name 2" on the authentication dialog boxes.
Just to summarise, I do not have an account called "Full Name 2" anymore - I've even updated the contact record - and when I get asked to authenticate via a dialog box, the name defaults to "Full Name 2".
Not sure why it's still doing this and how do I get rid of it - I just it to default to "Full Name".
At the moment I can login with both "Full Name" and "Full Name 2".
I tried deleting some preferences and re-log back in - but this didn't do the trick, but admittedly I may not have trashed the right ones.

First, I create a new user account via System Preferences -> Accounts. I gave it a different account name and I entered the same full name. It rejected it saying the full name was already in use, so I renamed the full name to "Full Name 2" just to I can create the account.
Then, I logged in to the new account. Tested it, set it up how I wanted it.
Then I logged back in to the old faulty account, and renamed the full name from "Full Name" to "Full Name OLD". I did this via Accounts. I simply double clicked the old account and the edit window showed up. I just renamed the full name field.
I then edited the new account, and renamed the full name field from "Full Name 2" to "Full Name". Since the original account now had a different name, I was now able to rename the new account to the desired name, i.e. without a "2" in it.
However - now it shows a 2 in the default account name whenever I need to authenticate something.

im using a task and creating a workitem,
in the latest end im giving the deadline, I am using a rule for determining the person to whom the deadline is to be sent.
i want to show the person responsible for the work item in the dead line message.
how this can be achieved ?

Hi,
If you are using modelled deadline , then in the branch of this deadline, you can use a method which determines (or try if result element of rule can be used) , the person responsible, and then get this person as export parameter of this method and bind to workflow container element, so that you will be able to use it in your next step.

Getting user name of person logged into workspace in BPM 11g.

What API and method calls can we use to determine who is logged into BPM 11g? Since many people can be assigned a role or human task (using dynamic task assignments) how can we determine who the actual user is?
The use case is a user logs into the workspace and executes human tasks assigned to him/her. In the ADF UI, we are using database controls to view, update and create records in database associated with this task. The tables have audit information like, LAST_MODIFIED_BY and MODIFIED_DATE. These fields or columns need to be updated with the user ID and current system date when data changes in the tables.
The problem is that I know how to get the user who the task is assigned to, but if the user is a delegate or process owner, how do we know? Also if many people are assigned to the human task, how do we find which one is actually working on the human task? In other words the current logged in user?
In the ADF task flow, I have access to an object SystemAttributesType that contains a lot of useful information, like the list of assignees. The problem is it doesn't seem to give me information about who is actually working on it (logged in user). Here's a code snippet for how I got this object. It is a method in a managed bean associated with the task flow.

I don't know if a table exists to get this kind of information.
Nevertheless, using function module BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP with no import parameter, you will have all purchasing data existing.
In export parameter ET_PURCH_DATA , look for your purchasing group.
In this way, you will get object ID for your Organizational Unit being a purchasign group.
Then, with FM BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_ORG, you will find all users assigned to this OU.

Change default short name

When adding new users to OD ldap creates a default short name that is then used as the default user name for several network services. Other short names can be added and edited, but the default is greyed out. Is there any way of changing the default short names?

you can edit the shortname in a number of ways. from workgroup manager, enable the details table, and you can edit the records manually.
you should also be able to edit record attributes via dscl on the command line.

Person responsible based Authorization in Projects is not working for me

Does 'Person responsible' based authorization for WBSE works for the WBS element only, or for the hierarchically sub-ordinate non-WBS objects (meaning Networks, Activities, Materials etc) as well?
Details:
(Authorization objects: C_PROJ_VNR and C_PRPS_VNR)
-- User1 is assigned with role TESTROLE1. This role has the Project manager based WBS & project authorization objects, with person number 101.
-- User2 is assigned with role TESTROLE2. This role has the Project manager based WBS & project authorization objects, with person number 102.
Following sample project is created by a super-user:
PROJ123 (Details: person responsible - 101)
WBS-1 (Details: person responsible - 101)
    WBS-1/1 (Details: person responsible - 101)
      NETWORK1
      ACTIVITY11
      MATERIAL111
      MATERIAL112
    WBS-1/2 (Details: person responsible - 102)
      NETWORK2
      ACTIVITY21
      MATERIAL211
      MATERIAL212
Now the requirement of super-user is that WBS-1/1 and its subordinate elements (Activities, Materials etc) should be editable only by User1. And similarly, WBS-1/2 and its subordinate elements should be editable by User2 only.
My issue:
Although WBS-1/1 is not accessible to User2, BUT User2 can edit the subordinate elements (NETWORK1, ACTIVITY11, MATERIAL111, MATERIAL112) of WBS-1/1. I do not want User2 to have edit access to subordinate elements of WBS-1/1.
Above issue is with User1 for WBS-1/2 as well.
Hope I am clear in explaining my issue. Can anyone please help me understand the standard authorization concept of Person responsible based roles. I suspect that I am going wrong somewhere but I am not able to identify the problem.
I want to allow access of a part of project to one user, and another part to some other user. And I do not want to go for an ABAP option if I can do above using basis authorizations.
(Above mentioned problem is not just with part of projects, but with a complete project as well.)

Are you aware of any authorization objects which can restrict access to Networks, Activities, Material components and Milestones, using 'Person responsible' or any other suitable field? I hope you got what I am looking for.
Restricting WBSE based on 'Person responsible' without restricting sub-ordinate elements is not much useful according to me. It helps only with simple project structures (having only WBSE) and nothing much. Right?
