Default warehouse for sales representative
We have webtools & several licenses to use for our representatives in the field. We would like to have them place orders for us, but assign a specific warehouse to keep up with their inventory that they have on hand. How do I assign those sales representatives to a particular warehouse so that when orders placed by them on their customers will show product leaving their warehouse?

Hi Experts,
In my recent Implementation Project I realised that there should be provision of capturing and using different default warehouse for Sales,Purchase and Production.
For example in manufacturing company
1. Default ware house for Purchase process should be QC ware house for raw material.
2. Default ware house for Production process should be RM ware house for raw material (components).
3. Default ware house for Production process should be QC ware house for Finished Good (Parent Item).
4. Default ware house for Sales process should be FG ware house for Finished Good (Parent Item).
I hope the idea is clear, I am looking for 3 different set as default warehouse for each item in Item master Inventory tab.
Internally when a user create a document than default warehouse is to be picked up from this setting !

I guess the indicator "Exclusive" in the accessess of the access sequence can meet the requirement if I have note misunderstood the issue.
Press : F1 help on Exclusive Indicator -
Indicator: Exclusive condition access
Controls whether the system stops searching for a record after the first successful access for a condition type within an access sequence.

The Business requirements are
During the import or manual entry of sales order,based on customer ship to address the warehouse field in the sales order should default from gop results.
Gop can show you the availability from the ATP inquiry form attached to sales order.But how to default or populate the warehouse field automatically.
No standard functionality is there.Enhancement request has been raised.Can anybody suggest any workaroounds.

Account group for sales representative
Hi experts,
Is there any account group for sales representative in standard SAP?
Unlike customer do we need to create sales representative without account group?
If I want to use partner function sales representative, what is the process?

There is no account group for the sales representative in standard SAP. Instead u can use " employee responsible(ER)" partner function as a Sales Representative.
the same process u can opt. But here in partner determination u need to use for Sales Document Header . which is 2nd one in partner determination Procedure. u can see that but i think already exist in that procedure make it mandatory so that when ever the Sales Document of that type is raised then the system will ask u " employee responsible" person. ex: if u want to make for Standard Sales Order then u take the "TA" Partner Determination Procedure. and make as mandatory field for the partner function (ER).
the above said is one way and the another way is to take one partner function(sh,bp,py,etc) and copy it and put as "Sales Representative" and assign it to the partner determination procedure for the Customer and create the sales representative and assign it to the customer master . this way also u can work out..
I think these are sufficient to solve ur issue..

Cancel default warehouse for item
Dear All,
We would like to cancel a default warehouse for items. We don't need any default warehouse at all. Is there any way we can do that? I know if we setup another default warehouse, the old one will no longer be the default warehouse. But the problem is, we don't need any default warehouse at all. Thanks.

i have just published a part of it as i am unable to find solution for it.

Can Anybody please tell me how to fetch the email-id of the sales representative from the vendor Master? I mean the name of the function module which does this , along with the other address details of the sales representative?

How to setup the default warehouse in Sales Order Lines
I have 3 organizations in one OU like A, B, C.
and I created a new sales order type for A, the shipping from warehouse is also setup C, but when I create SO, in order lines, the default warehose is A, how to change to C?

FangquanYou can write a simple pl/sql logic to get the correct org id. I am assuming that you have two responsibilities in the same operating unit and one should default with A and one should default with C. Both use the same order type.
When the resp that is responsible for org A, will have org A from order type.
For resp that is responsible for org C, you can create a pl/sql logic where you read the current responsibility using fnd_profile.value('RESP_ID'). If the resp_id is responsible for C then return organization_id of C.
You can find example code for order line entity for attribute tax code.

Default output for Sales Order
Hi SAP experts,
I have created 2 different order output and assign to 2 different access sequence
(1) Sales Order Type/Created By -> Output Z001
(2) Sales Order Type -> Output Z002
These 2 access sequence are included a output determination procedure. I would like to have the following behaviour
Once output is determined in (1), stop
However, in my situation, both Z001 and Z002 can be determined if condition satisfied
(ii) Default an output if condition meet. (automatically highlight the item when issue output)

did you mean sales targets for the sales personnel? i am not aware of any standard functionality in ERP, but you can try planning by doing MC93 (sales against plan).
if this is too tedious, a simpler approach would be to assign the sales personnel to the sales transaction (through assignment to customer). you can then generate a sales report based on the sales personnel and compare the figures to a structure of sales quota.

There is no built-in function by system like user default. You may use FMS for the goal. A UDT is needed to define BP default warehouse.
Try:
SELECT T0.U_WHS FROM dbo.@BPWHS T0 WHERE T0.CardCode=$[$4.0.0\]
In this example, @BPWHS is the UDT to define default warehouse for each BP by U_WHS field.

I have to set a default warehouse for the sales flow for a particular user only..How to set that.......I tried setting that in the document setting and the user defaults...But it s takin t automatically as the warehouse set at the General settings.

default warehouse in documents:
The 3 locations in which the default warehouse can be set are:
1. Administration => General Settings => Items tab page
2. Administration => Definitions => General => Define Users => Defaults => Defaults tab page
3. Inventory => Item Master Data => Inventory Data tab page
The warehouse will appear automatically in documents according to the
following priorities:
1. If an item is defined with a default warehouse in its Item Master Data, this warehouse will be displayed
automatically in sales and purchasing documents.
2. If an item is not defined with a default warehouse in its Item Master Data, SAP Business One will
check if a default warehouse is defined in the Define Users window in the Defaults window (of the user who is currently logged in).
3. If no default warehouse is defined in the User Defaults window, SAP Business One will use the default
warehouse defined in the General Settings window, under the Items tab page.

I am working with the system that is using the field 'Created by' for sales representative data field.
Why would someone configure their system to use this field rather than setting the Partner function?

They have configured the partner function for sales representative and then created the user id using transaction SU01 for their sales representative in order to keep a track that which sales representative has created sales order.
They may be tracking as to decide the incentives or commision which they can give to them.
Like in insurance industry, there is a track to find out what target a particular representative has reached in order to decide on their incentives and commission.

VPE1 - Different layout in Create Sales Representative
Dear All,
There are two systems ( DEV & QAS ) which have same component versions.
In the Tcode : VPE1 -> Create Sales Representative. Under the Organizational Assignmnet,
in the QAS I can see the 'Position' field but in the DEV I couldn't see it.
Do you mind to advise on this ?
