  • Message no. M8584 ''Enter a currency key'' in MIRO

    Hi Gurus,
Infact I am facing a warning message while doing MIRO. Just after inputing MIRO header like Doc date, Posting date, Reference and lastly amount field when I press the enter, I get the above cited warning error. Can you please tell me how to remove this warning error message.
    Thanks
    BABA

    HI,
It sounds like your system is operating according to design. System behaviour changed with note 982645.
The message always comes if you enter header data into miro BEFORE entering PO number and hitting ENTER. It comes even then if you enter header data and PO but press ENTER only afterwards! This is because the check of existence of currency key in the coding happens before the determination of the currency key from the PO. At the time the data are not determined from the PO, the system cannot know whether there will be  a PO entry as in MIRO you can post also without a PO reference.
To eliminate the message is to enter the PO first then all other relevant data.
To get rid of this behaviour please implement SAP Note 1001420. This note just deletes new coding.
Please assign points if it useful.

  • Display Currency key on the column header

Dear Gurus, Can i display the currency key on the header of the column instead of showing it next to value
    Thank you
    BR

    Hi,
Yes you can do it by using Query Properties, you can see the various options there and CHECK it.
But in this case you need to have UNIFORM Currency Key, if it is having INR, USD then it won't display.

  • MIRO: how to obtain a  Currency Key default in miro?

    Hi All,
Could anyone tell me how to obtain a  Currency Key default in miro?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

    Hi Gandalf,
when using transactions MIRO the currency is always taken from the purchase order.
You can consider of maintaining a MIRO screen variant, which includes a default currency (SAP note 363818).

  • MIRO: enter currency key

    Hello all,
I have got a question regarding transaction MIRO. When I enter info like posting date, amount in the header I get an an informational message "enter a currency key"
It's not a hard error so I can enter through the message but I wonder how I can get rid of that message. I understand the system aks me to enter a currency but I don't want to enter the currency manually as the currency automatically defaults from the purchase order when I enter the purchase order nr in MIRO.
My question to you is how do I get rid of the informational message that asks me to enter a currency key. I know that this should be possible as I get this message only since we implemented support pack 53.
We are on SAP 4.6 c
    thanks for your help,
    Latifa

    Hi Lafia,
I would recommend to use transaction OBA5 to modify the message control. Enter the message application area there and then enter the last 3 digits of the information message. Then you should be able to set '-' (message completey switched off) for your information message.

  • Default currency in FB60

    Hi,
I am searching for a way to define a vendor's default currency in transaction FB60.
We have entered the default currency in the vendor master (Purchasing data>Order currency>by Plant).
When entering the invoice in FB60 the currency still shows as USD (although the vendor is assigned to EUR-above).
Perhaps this Purchasing data view will only affect an invoice with a PO and an invoice entered in MIRO???
We want to enter the invoice without reference to a PO (in FB60).
    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Thanks Dusan.
When I go into the screen variant screen for FB60 there are about 4 nodes but nothing under any of the nodes.
    Regardless:
Would this screen variant screen pick up the default currency of the vendor (Which is what we need)
Or would it just populate a default currency for all FB60 transactions?
    I appreciate your response!
    Ken

  • Default profit center when posting vendor invoices thru MIRO, FB60 and FB65

Hi,you need to customize doc splitting.
1.You need to clasify all accounts from future document in  Document Splitting-Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting(e.g. all accounts 2000) 03000-VENDOR.
2.in IMG: Classify Document Types for Document Splitting    check for Document type  transaction and Variant (e.g. Doc=KR, Trans.=1010, Variant= 0001)
3.In IMG:  Activate Document Splitting   check  assigned method(e.g. 000012)
    4. in IMG- Document Splitting-Extended Document Splitting-Define Document Splitting Rule
For find your method and transaction(e.g. Method=00012, trans.=1010) and double click on Item categories(on left of the top of screen)
There'd be record with category from first step (e.g. Cat.=0300), select one and double click on Base item cat. - there'd be Category 0300 and with check box Automatically split.
    I hope it'd be helpful

  • SAP Report Painter - How to show currency key in header

I've created a new report painter report against table Faglflext. Basic key figures are extracting Local Currency (HSL). This generic report will be used for various company codes that have different local currencies. In the report header I've specified a General Text Variable with Variable name currency but no data is displayed. The data in the columns are however correct based on company code selection.
Please advise how I can show currency type in header.
    Thanks

    Hi Sonja
You have chosen HSL in the column definition which means to display the values in comp code currency
If I have understood your requirement correct, you want to display the currency of the company code in the Header text or some where as a text, based on the company code given in selection parameter
    Thats really not possible!!
However, one smart thing you can do is to
    1. Go to GRR2
    2. Choose your report and Menu Extras > Report Text > Title page or Header
    3. Enter a Text saying that
"This report displays the values in comp code currency... Currency of comp code 1 is USD, comp code 2 is SGD, Comp code 3 is GBP, etc"
Hence, the users would come to know the currency in which it is executed

  • "Calculate tax" on MIRO/FB60 to be checked by default

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible through configuration to make the "Calculate tax" box on MIRO/FB60 checked by default and grayed out (user isn't allowed to uncheck it).
    Regards,
    Yathi P

    Hi ,
the problem that you have stated can be resolved by creating a screen varient for the same , where in you can make the calculate tax as only output mode .
for this execute the t code SHD0 , enter the T code and create a screen varient for the same .
do revert back in case you have any queries in creating a screen varient .
    Cheers ,

  • Business place / Section Code as default value while MIRO / FB60

    Dear seniors,
Our client wants the Business place as default value while MIRO / FB60.
I have tried for Validation & even tried for Substitution, but the BUPLA field is not available.
please give me some solution as to :
    1. How to make mandatory OR
    2. How can i assign a default value, so that End Users do not miss it out any time
    please help.

    Hi
You can write the Validation and make the field mandatory.
    In Prerequisite
Business Place = ' ' OR Business Place (Not Equal To) 'IND'
    In Check
Transaction code = 'MIRO' and Transaction code = 'FB60' AND Account type = 'K'
Then you will meet your requirement.

  • How to add Special G/L Indicator in MIRO & FB60 T.Codes Headers

    Hi
How to add a Special G/L Indicator in MIRO & FB60 T.Code screen under 'Amount split' tab for each line item in Header.
Client Requirement is Retention amount has to post with Special G/L Indicator 'R', because of all the retention amounts has to show into seperate G/L Account for Balance Sheet purpose.
For Eg., 1000 $ - GR Carried and at the time of MIRO 900-Vendor Dr.; 100-Vendor(R)(Spl G/L Indicator) Dr.; and 1000 GR/I R Account has to credit.
    Quick action will be appreciated.
    Regards
    Chinnu

    Hello!
I am focused with a similar problem. For us it is necessary to have a MIRO posting with special G/L indicator in order to set a alternative reconciliation account when we have a PO with account assignment category A. Then we have to treat it as liabilities coming from investments.
I've already tried to solve it via substitution. While debugging it seems quite OK but the result is not satisfying at all as the document doesn't show the special G/L indicator and the posting key.
So my question is if there is another user exit or a BAdI available that enables me to implement this requirement.
Otherwise we will be obliged to create redundant master data by doubling the vendors. But then it will be more difficult for our purchasing people to know exactly which vendor number they have to take in which case, and also the reporting isn't that efficient as people will have to remind to select all numbers.
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind Regards,
    Melanie

  • Tax code default frpm PO to MIRO

    Hi Expert,
The tax code (for e.g 00) for import is not defaulting from PO to MIRO. I have to input the tax code manually. I can't set the default tax code "00" in customization as it is at company code level. Is there anything at document type level?
    Chakrapani

    Hi,
Tax code can not be directly links with document type(for exa-RE) level.
During invoice (MIRO) tax code will flow from PO to Invoice, you need remove default tax code in MIRO header if any tax code set for default entry in MIRO & keep it BLANK and just select check box u201Ccalculate taxu201D .Now system will calculate all tax rate as you have tax code in items & then do all necessary steps and post MIRO document.

  • Hiding vendor bank info on MIRO/FB60 screen

    HI,
In MIRO/FB60 after you enter vendor & other header info, vendor info (address/phone #/bank info) is displayed on the right hand side.
Does anyone know a way to hide vendor bank account number and routing number from MIRO/FB60 screen. Client does not want users to get the banking info while they post vendor invoices.
    Best Regards
    Shine

    Hello,
I do not see there is any other way around.
I do not think this something contradicting Segregation of Duties. Display access of the vendor master can be given even to the person entering MIRO / FB60. It is only for display. Therefore, the user cannot manipulate anything, unless he is having vendor create or change authorizations.
You will have to convince the Client.
If still they are not satisfied, you can REFER to SAP.

    Ravi
